Espa Roba appeared in the orginal series of Yu-Gi-Oh! He has multiple cameo appearances in Battle City. Esper Roba was later on introduced when he's dueling against Rex Raptor. He uses a dirty trick to win against his opponent's. Claiming to have an ESP, but the truth is he's just using his younger brothers to look at his opponent's hand so he can predict the next move of his opponent.
Psychic Vision Use ESP Power to view your opponent's hand until the end of your first turn. Your starting hand will be reduced to 3 cards. While this Skill is active, you will not be able to view the details of the cards in your opponent's hand, and your opponent will not be able to use card effects that activated by revealing card(s) in their hand.
Draw Sense: Dark Can be used each time your Life Points decrase by 1500. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random DARK attribute monster.
Psychic Onslaught At the beginning of the Duel, add 1 or 2 "Jinzo" to your Deck and shuffle it.
Trap Search Can be used when you control a monster whose original name is "Jinzo". Destroy all Trap Cards your opponent controls. The Skill can only be used once per Duel.
Cosmic Enlightenment Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random Psychic-Type or "Jinzo" monster.
Mesmeric Control Select 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field. That monster loses 800 ATK, and cannot attack until the end of your opponent's next turn. The Skill can only be used once per Duel.
Cyber Energy Amplified When 'Amplifier" is equipped to a monster, increase that monster's ATK by 500. Once per turn, increase the Equipped Monster's ATK by 300 for each Equip Spell Card Equipped to it.
Espa Roba's deck mainly revolves around Machine type monsters. His signature card Jinzo has a devastating effect that disables any trap cards and it was supported by ESP Amplifier to increase its attack. He also uses Mind Control to gain possession of his opponent's monsters.
Psychic Vision seems more than fair to me. Even if it didn't reduce your opening hand size (which it does), it just lets you look at their opening hand. It also doesn't block much anyway. It will only stop ANYTHING if you go second (assuming it even activates then, it might just activate at the start of your turn), and even then, that's basically just Golden Ladybug.
