Reasons for wanting marik
1. He is an awesome character and I'm sure his skills will be wild
2 it means possible lava golem newdoria dark Jerold drops
3 possible remaining grave keeper drops since so far it's dropped by his sister and his body guard so. It isn't far to think visionary rites maybe even a skill for necrovally that mimics Harpy hunting ground
4 with marik in game we could get s rare hunter event or maybe close to a dominoe city event similar to the anime.
Limited duelist show up such as Moto super joey Arkana mokuba plus maybe esp roba strings or rare hunter(cheater exodia). That randomly show in city an once all beaten unlocks the finals of dominoe city.

Take 3 tributes to do only obelisk is immune the summoning turn
Slyfer and ra are affected by spell trap and monster effects even on turn of summon just can't negate summon
Slyfer at most would get up to 7,000 with litho it's the other effect of monsters losing 2,000 ATk and if ATk goes to 0 with this effect destroy the monster.
For ra unless they add sphere mode ra itself would get to 3,999 since it's only effect is reducing your lp for it to gain ATk and the pay 1,000 lp destroy a card on field so at best you summon it and pay 2,000 or 2,500 and can use its other effect once. Unless you run ra supremacy berry then by all means run it at 3,999 ATk use supremacy and boom 2 pops each berry if lucky
For obelisk 4,000 can be rough if you don't have say mirror wall or other cards to raise your attack rising energy with having 3 monster zones it's second effect is kinda useless unless you run light impulse or stray lambs but then it can't attack.
The ability to tribute summon 3 monsters is hard may have 2 on field for attacking but usually unless your showing off or your opponent got a bad hand your not able to get 3 on field.
Only deck I know that can do that turn 1 is alo hammer shark deck and people don't use alo supposedly.
Or if ra disciples is added to game then it changes things. If god cards are added players will ensure to keep opponent at 2 monsters or less on field
Even with musoleum in game a good twister despell or even magic jammer providence or magic drain can stop it
