Skill Details

If your Deck contains 5 or more Spell Cards with different names, you will have improved chances of having a Spell Card in your starting hand. You cannot Special Summon or activate monster effects until the end of the Main Phase of your first turn.

this skill if garbage, 8 spells in a 20 card deck and all different, don't draw any spells in starting hand, Konami how do you make a skill that reduces the spell odds below normal odds? *confused face*

This skill no longer guarantee at least 1 spell card in your starting hand. Happened to me one time, the starting hand I got 4 monsters.

I have 5 different spells and duel Log also states that the skill does activate.

It never guaranteed it. It just says that you have improved chance.

This will never happen.

I paid so much money to build my Grass deck, then I spent so much time farming to get this skill.

They can't do this to me and us.

Yeah, my Grass deck won't work anymore without this skill.

I farmed so much gems to build my deck and to get this skill like the other people who commented did.

No one will be taking this skill nor Grass away from me.

I will say balance or you can play Destiny Draw as well, but if you play 30 cards version decklist then Spell Specialist might be better.

"Unfortunately this skill has never found a spot yet when it comes to competitive ranked games. Compared to Balance skill, it is more unreliable."
TBH no one use Balance in 2020 meta decks :( This skill combo with grass is very power full for shiranui, vendread,... And in future meta, when graveyard become another hand, no wonder grass and/or this skill will be nerf for Rage-quiter sake :v

Lol, ikr?if you have 5 or more spells in your deck of course you have improved chance to get 1 spell in your starting hand, even without the skill.

My 30 card dragon banish deck will take this skill over any other any duel. Huge odds of drawing future fusion turn 1 for some great combo potential with, eclipse, arkbrave, BEWD, etc. you don’t even need fhd to summon to win most of he time
