Light and Dark Choose 1 of the following: -Return 1 DARK monster from your hand to your Deck. Then, add from your Deck to your hand, 1 LIGHT monster with the same Level and Type as the monster you returned. -Return 1 LIGHT monster from your hand to your Deck. Then, add from your Deck to your hand, 1 DARK monster with the same Level and Type as the monster you returned. This Skill can only be used once per turn, and twice per Duel. | Umbra & Lumis |
By Tributing a “Cyber Angel” Ritual Monster from your hand or field, Merciful Machine Angel allows you to draw two cards and then place one from your hand on the bottom of your Deck.
If you activate Merciful Machine Angel by Tributing Cyber Angel Benten, you will be able to add a LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your Deck to your hand after the effect of the Spell Card resolves, which basically means that you can place on the bottom of your Deck a LIGHT Fairy-Type monster (Cyber Angel Izana, Cyber Angel Dakini, Cyber Angel Benten, Cyber Angel Idaten or Senju of the Thousand Hands) and then add it back to your hand.
Note that you can also Tribute a face-down “Cyber Angel” Ritual Monster to activate Merciful Machine Angel (Floodgate Trap Hole and Paleozoic Canadia).
When Cyber Angel Idaten is Ritual Summoned, you can add a Ritual Spell Card from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. Ritual Summon Idaten by Tributing Benten to add Izana, Dakini or Benten and Machine Angel Absolute Ritual or Machine Angel Ritual to your hand.
If Idaten is Tributed, you can increase the ATK and DEF of all Ritual Monsters you currently control by 1000.
When Cyber Angel Izana is Ritual Summoned, you can make your opponent send a Spell/Trap Card they control to the Graveyard. Your opponent does get to decide which card is sent to the Graveyard by Izana’s effect, but, if they have only one, their only option will be to chain it right away.
This effect is definitely not perfect, but Izana does technically give Cyber Angels something they were previously lacking: a natural answer to backrow. Running Hey, Trunade! is definitely out of the question since the “Cyber Angel” archetype already features three Semi-Limited cards, so the addition of this Level 8 Ritual Monster is more than welcome.
When Cyber Angel Izana destroys an opponent’s monster by battle, it can make a second attack on an opponent’s monster in a row. If your opponent does not control another monster when Izana destroys one of their monsters, you cannot activate this effect. Pair Izana and Dakini together to deal massive damage and close out games.
Once per turn, when your opponent activates a card or effect that targets a “Cyber Angel” Ritual Monster you control, you can shuffle a Ritual Monster from your Graveyard back into the Deck and, if you do, destroy a card on your opponent’s side of the field.
While this effect doesn’t provide any kind of protection, being able to respond to cards like Subterror Behemoth Umastryx and Treacherous Trap Hole while also replenishing your resources is extremely valuable.
When Cyber Angel Dakini is Ritual Summoned, you can make your opponent send a monster they control to the Graveyard. Cyber Angel Dakini can set up some early OTKs together with Sonic Bird or Senju of the Thousand Hands, bypassing popular cards such as Karakuri Ninja mdl 339 "Sazank" and Gale Lizard.
Cyber Angel Dakini gives all of your Ritual Monsters, including itself, the ability to inflict piercing battle damage and, once per turn, during your End Phase, it also allows you to add a Ritual Monster or a “Machine Angel Ritual” from your Graveyard to your hand. Thanks to Level Duplication, you can Ritual Summon Dakini by Tributing Cyber Angel Benten or Idaten and then add them back to your hand during your End Phase.
You can discard Darklord Ixchel and 1 “Darklord” card, which can be another copy of Darklord Ixchel itself, to draw two cards. Ixchel allows you to set up your Graveyard while also making you draw through your deck, which is obviously amazing in a Ritual Deck.
By paying 1000 Life Points, Darklord Ixchel allows you to target a “Darklord” Spell/Trap Card in your Graveyard, apply its effect and then shuffle it back into your Deck. Since you are simply applying the effect of a Spell/Trap Card and not actually activating it, Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En will not be able to negate it.
Banishment of the Darklords allows you to add any other “Darklord” card from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate this Spell Card once per turn, but you can also apply its effect via Darklord Ixchel’s effect.
When Darklord Superbia is Special Summoned from the Graveyard (Darklord Contact), you can Special Summon 1 Fairy-Type monster from your Graveyard, except Darklord Superbia.
Keep in mind that, if you apply the effect of Darklord Contact via Darklord Ixchel’s effect and Special Summon Darklord Superbia, you will not be able to Special Summon another monster from your Graveyard. After the effect of Darklord Contact is applied, the card is shuffled back into the Deck by Ixchel’s effect, which makes Darklord Superbia’s effect miss the timing.
You can use the effect of Darklord Superbia to Special Summon Cyber Angel Benten, Idaten, Dakini, or Izana from your Graveyard, but only if the monster was properly Ritual Summoned before being sent there.

Master of Rites II Begin Duel with the Continuous Spell "Ritual Cage" activated. | Alexis Rhodes |
Ritual Cage prevents your Ritual Monsters from being targeted or destroyed by monster effects, protecting them from Legendary Six Samurai - Enishi, Snipe Hunter, and most importantly Desperado Barrel Dragon.

Level Duplication Reveal 1 monster in your hand, then target 1 face-up monster on your side of the field; that target's level becomes equalt to the Level of the revealed monster. This skill can be used once per Duel. | Yusei Fudo |
This Skill allows you to Ritual Summon Cyber Angel Izana and Dakini using any of your monsters. Being able to use Level Duplication only once per Duel is definitely pretty limiting, but this is arguably the best Skill to play with this deck.

Beatdown! This turn, the Atk of all Level 5 or higher face-up monsters on your field increases by the number of monsters of Level 5 or higher on your field times 300. | Jack Atlas |
Beatdown is an interesting option that can give your monsters some extra ATK, which can definitely come in handy when facing certain decks, but it’s also true that Idaten can fill the same role.

Light and Dark significantly increases the overall consistency of the deck by allowing you to switch between Darklord Amdusc and Cyber Angel Idaten (or Benten), and Darklord Superbia and Cyber Angel Izana. You can also run Darklord Nasten to add Cyber Angel Dakini, or Dark Rose Fairy for Cyber Petit Angel.
