How to Use

Merciful Machine Angel

By Tributing a “Cyber Angel” Ritual Monster from your hand or field, Merciful Machine Angel allows you to draw two cards and then place one from your hand on the bottom of your Deck.

If you activate Merciful Machine Angel by Tributing Cyber Angel Benten, you will be able to add a LIGHT Fairy-Type monster from your Deck to your hand after the effect of the Spell Card resolves, which basically means that you can place on the bottom of your Deck a LIGHT Fairy-Type monster (Cyber Angel Izana, Cyber Angel Dakini, Cyber Angel Benten, Cyber Angel Idaten or Senju of the Thousand Hands) and then add it back to your hand.

Note that you can also Tribute a face-down “Cyber Angel” Ritual Monster to activate Merciful Machine Angel (Floodgate Trap Hole and Paleozoic Canadia).

Senju of the Thousand Hands & Sonic Bird

  • When Senju of the Thousand Hands is Normal or Flip Summoned, it allows you to add a Ritual Monster from your Deck to your hand. Normal Summon Senju and search Cyber Angel Izana, Dakini, Benten or Idaten.
  • When Sonic Bird is Normal or Flip Summoned, it allows you to add a Ritual Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. Normal Summon Sonic Bird and search Machine Angel Absolute Ritual or Machine Angel Ritual.

Ritual Summon Cyber Angel Idaten

When Cyber Angel Idaten is Ritual Summoned, you can add a Ritual Spell Card from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. Ritual Summon Idaten by Tributing Benten to add Izana, Dakini or Benten and Machine Angel Absolute Ritual or Machine Angel Ritual to your hand.

If Idaten is Tributed, you can increase the ATK and DEF of all Ritual Monsters you currently control by 1000.

Ritual Summon Cyber Angel Izana

When Cyber Angel Izana is Ritual Summoned, you can make your opponent send a Spell/Trap Card they control to the Graveyard. Your opponent does get to decide which card is sent to the Graveyard by Izana’s effect, but, if they have only one, their only option will be to chain it right away.

This effect is definitely not perfect, but Izana does technically give Cyber Angels something they were previously lacking: a natural answer to backrow. Running Hey, Trunade! is definitely out of the question since the “Cyber Angel” archetype already features three Semi-Limited cards, so the addition of this Level 8 Ritual Monster is more than welcome.

When Cyber Angel Izana destroys an opponent’s monster by battle, it can make a second attack on an opponent’s monster in a row. If your opponent does not control another monster when Izana destroys one of their monsters, you cannot activate this effect. Pair Izana and Dakini together to deal massive damage and close out games.

Once per turn, when your opponent activates a card or effect that targets a “Cyber Angel” Ritual Monster you control, you can shuffle a Ritual Monster from your Graveyard back into the Deck and, if you do, destroy a card on your opponent’s side of the field.

While this effect doesn’t provide any kind of protection, being able to respond to cards like Subterror Behemoth Umastryx and Treacherous Trap Hole while also replenishing your resources is extremely valuable.

Cyber Angel Dakini

When Cyber Angel Dakini is Ritual Summoned, you can make your opponent send a monster they control to the Graveyard. Cyber Angel Dakini can set up some early OTKs together with Sonic Bird or Senju of the Thousand Hands, bypassing popular cards such as Karakuri Ninja mdl 339 "Sazank" and Gale Lizard.

Cyber Angel Dakini gives all of your Ritual Monsters, including itself, the ability to inflict piercing battle damage and, once per turn, during your End Phase, it also allows you to add a Ritual Monster or a “Machine Angel Ritual” from your Graveyard to your hand. Thanks to Level Duplication, you can Ritual Summon Dakini by Tributing Cyber Angel Benten or Idaten and then add them back to your hand during your End Phase.

Darklord Ixchel

You can discard Darklord Ixchel and 1 “Darklord” card, which can be another copy of Darklord Ixchel itself, to draw two cards. Ixchel allows you to set up your Graveyard while also making you draw through your deck, which is obviously amazing in a Ritual Deck.

By paying 1000 Life Points, Darklord Ixchel allows you to target a “Darklord” Spell/Trap Card in your Graveyard, apply its effect and then shuffle it back into your Deck. Since you are simply applying the effect of a Spell/Trap Card and not actually activating it, Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En will not be able to negate it.

Banishment of the Darklords

Banishment of the Darklords allows you to add any other “Darklord” card from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate this Spell Card once per turn, but you can also apply its effect via Darklord Ixchel’s effect.

Darklord Superbia

When Darklord Superbia is Special Summoned from the Graveyard (Darklord Contact), you can Special Summon 1 Fairy-Type monster from your Graveyard, except Darklord Superbia.

Keep in mind that, if you apply the effect of Darklord Contact via Darklord Ixchel’s effect and Special Summon Darklord Superbia, you will not be able to Special Summon another monster from your Graveyard. After the effect of Darklord Contact is applied, the card is shuffled back into the Deck by Ixchel’s effect, which makes Darklord Superbia’s effect miss the timing.

You can use the effect of Darklord Superbia to Special Summon Cyber Angel Benten, Idaten, Dakini, or Izana from your Graveyard, but only if the monster was properly Ritual Summoned before being sent there.

Additional Notes

Skill

Master of Rites II
Begin Duel with the Continuous Spell "Ritual Cage" activated.
Alexis Rhodes
Alexis Rhodes

Ritual Cage prevents your Ritual Monsters from being targeted or destroyed by monster effects, protecting them from Legendary Six Samurai - Enishi, Snipe Hunter, and most importantly Desperado Barrel Dragon.

[Skill] descriptionUser
Level Duplication
Reveal 1 monster in your hand, then target 1 face-up monster on your side of the field; that target's level becomes equalt to the Level of the revealed monster. This skill can be used once per Duel.
Yusei Fudo
Yusei Fudo

This Skill allows you to Ritual Summon Cyber Angel Izana and Dakini using any of your monsters. Being able to use Level Duplication only once per Duel is definitely pretty limiting, but this is arguably the best Skill to play with this deck.

[Skill] descriptionUser
Beatdown!
This turn, the Atk of all Level 5 or higher face-up monsters on your field increases by the number of monsters of Level 5 or higher on your field times 300.
Jack Atlas
Jack Atlas

Beatdown is an interesting option that can give your monsters some extra ATK, which can definitely come in handy when facing certain decks, but it’s also true that Idaten can fill the same role.

[Skill] descriptionUser
Light and Dark
Choose 1 of the following: -Return 1 DARK monster from your hand to your Deck. Then, add from your Deck to your hand, 1 LIGHT monster with the same Level and Type as the monster you returned. -Return 1 LIGHT monster from your hand to your Deck. Then, add from your Deck to your hand, 1 DARK monster with the same Level and Type as the monster you returned. This Skill can only be used once per turn, and twice per Duel.
Umbra & Lumis
Umbra & Lumis

Light and Dark significantly increases the overall consistency of the deck by allowing you to switch between Darklord Amdusc and Cyber Angel Idaten (or Benten), and Darklord Superbia and Cyber Angel Izana. You can also run Darklord Nasten to add Cyber Angel Dakini, or Dark Rose Fairy for Cyber Petit Angel.

Weaknesses

  • Machine Angel Ritual provides no protection against Subterror Umastryx, Karakuri Ninja mdl 339 “Sazank” and Gale Lizard. If your Ritual Monsters are banished, you have no way of retrieving them.
  • Both Machine Angel Absolute Ritual and Machine Angel Ritual are Spell Cards, which means they can be negated by Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En, Silent Magician and Dark Paladin.
  • Cyber Angels generally deal poorly with back row. Burn and Control decks can also use Lava Golem to apply pressure while also getting rid of your monsters and Amazoness Swords Woman can turn Dakini’s effect against you.
  • Cyber Angels are generally pretty weak on the play: they are allowed to run little to no protection and they can easily be OTKed by decks like Blue-Eyes and Koa'ki Meiru Neos.

I know the owners of this deck, who digged for 3 sonic birds and Senjus, passionately want it back

But I hope this never ever becomes meta again

Didn't get the "hope this never becomes meta again". I can understand that u may have lost to CA in its glory days, but in the current meta we have plenty of archetypes much OP than CA, like Subterrors and Six Sams, so much so that even with Dakini unlimited CA might not catch up with them

Still has the legacy of being the only true Tier 0 in the game’s history so far, so it makes sense they’re still hesitant to give back their power cards

How in the world can we use this deck? The cyber angel deck has limited rule that cancels from having more of the same card? Any advice on how to use it? I mean i’m Still trying to unlock Alexis skills in order to use this deck.

You try and make due with what you can- Petite is basically cut from the deck- leaving you with 1 Dakini and 1 Machine Angel Ritual to work around. Stock up on Manju/Sonic Bird, and good luck building
LOL
LOL my dudes, cyber angels don't need cyber petit unlimited in order to be competitive.
<< Anonymous(LOL)
Setoconazol Reply
What are you talking about?!? Even if cyber petit was unlimited, cyber angel still would NOT be competitive in the current meta. It's a good archetype, but got too power crept by the most recent ones. To top it off, it's confined in the ritual engine, the worst in the game

Petit Angel is useless. Manju is the card that you need.

Just put some Six Sams monsters if you don't have Senju, because Machine Angel Absolute Ritual works well with Warrior monster

Deck- 2 merciful machine angel 1 dakini 1 idaten 3 benten 3 izana 2 senju 1 machine angel ritual 3 sprite's blessing 3 machine absolute ritual last card ? I would have liked to include 1 more senju, but I only have two and I don't even have gishki chain. What is a good substitute, crystal seer, sphere kuriboh, sonic bird? Or something else?
<< Anonymous
Setoconazol Reply
A good substitute is another deck! Cyber Angels got too power crept in the current meta, and with 3 cards in the banlist, it's simply not worthy IMO, not to mention it's a ritual-based deck, which is a pretty lame engine. It breaks my heart to say that, as I really like the deck, but it's simply the truth. Nonetheless, if ur not listening anyway, some ppl are using neos fusion with CA

Thank you. (And that other person who gave advice idk why their reply got deleted) I mostly agree with you. I got excited when I saw some CA decks on duellinks meta, but before I got a chance to pvp again , it looks like another deck is already here. XD I don't duel for kog, just playing around really. I switched this deck up a little since I made that post tho.
Anonymous
Remove petite to the semi-limited already. Really 2 dakini ls and 2 petites are not op anymore if compare to the current metas. Whats the point of releasing Izani if the CA archtype cant win with the current metas?
<< Anonymous(Anonymous)

CA can win, some people got kog too, you can't win

At least you are wining with those 3 sonic birds...:p

Dr. Zuma Zuk Reply
This is why most versions of the deck now don't run sonic and merciful.
Anonymous
Remove petite angel to the semi-banned already! 2 dakini with 2 petite is not too op anymore today compared to the consistency and effects of the new metas

> Just for you to play for fun. Not for the meta.

No you are wrong! Cyber angels are already in the tier list even if Petite Angel is still semi limited.
<< Anonymous

All 4 cyber angel ritual monsters are in the ranked duel most popular card list now. Senju not in the list. You don't need Senju to play.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
My bad, Senju is in the list as well.
Akito Sohma
This is the best I could do with making it include cyber petit angel.
