Pros

  • When this card is targetted for attack, it can be switched to Defense position.
  • This card can send 1 face-up monster on the Field to the Graveyard, when it is flipped face up.
  • It can attack your opponent directly when it was Flipped Face-up.

Cons

  • You must attack with this monster if it is in ATK mode during your Battle Phase.
  • Weak ATK and DEF stats.

Tips

  • Generally its quite hard to play cards revolving around Flip monsters in the current fast-paced meta.
  • The downside of this card is that it is reliant on support to recycle its usefulness, therefore we won’t be seeing much use in the current gameplay.

Recycle

Inferno Hammer can Flip Karakuri Ninja back to face down position, when it destroys opponent’s monster by battle. Desertapir’s Flip effects allow you to Flip Karakuri Ninja back to face down position.

So to be clear, select is still targeting correct?

selecting does imply targeting. But both terms have different consequences. https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Select
https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Target
Otherwise there would be only one page to explain this.

Select is just an outdated term. Every card that still uses the word "select" does target. Maybe you should read the links you've posted.

Select is an outdated term? YES.
Every card that still uses the word "select" does target? NO.

Some cards that used to say "select", such as "Creature Swap" and "A Cat of Ill Omen", do not target; such cards now use "choose" to specify that a player decides which card without targeting.

That's why those cards don't use the word "select" anymore. They said that this applies to cards who STILL use the term "select".

Select is still targeting.. :/ idk why they dont use the same text so newbie like me didnt get confused.
TIP:
Because it doesn’t say “destroy” in the card text, you can also send monsters that can’t be destroyed by card effects to the graveyard

It is "targeting" tho, and it cant send anything other than face up monster. This and ryko surely has a different usage.

Does this work against hazy flame? It is select not target so ???

Sending monsters to graveyard is a very op effect, this way even Obelisk could be "sent", it doesn't say destroy nor target. Just "send"

Great card, probably 8/10

But I read the text card that say it "select" so the removal effect is still target
<< Anonymous

Yes, the effect sends, but it also targets. Meaning anything with targeting immunity can't be removed with this card's effect.

o_O wow, really? I thought it wouldn't be so because it says "select" and not "target" Anyway, thank you ! ^^

That would destroy the entire deck, rather than slowing it down.
Is this how it's supposed to work?
But like the other guy, I'm F2P and it took me so much time to farm and get cards for my Yub...
