Pros

  • Can equip any Dragon-type monster from your Graveyard to itself and gain that equipped monster’s ATK.
  • Equipped monster will be destroyed instead, if Cyberdark Dragon would be destroyed by battle.

Cons

  • Weak base ATK and DEF.
  • Cannot be Special Summoned except Fusion summon.
  • Challenging to Fusion Summon, you need 3 Fusion materials.

Tips

  • Alternatively you can also use Cybernetic Fusion Support, to banish monsters from either your Hand, Graveyard, or Field, as Fusion Materials. Bear in mind you will still need to use Polymerization to perform Fusion Summoning.

Synergy

Cyberdark Impact! is a powerful card that allows you to return 1 of each: Cyberdark Horn, Cyberdark Edge, Cyberdark Keel, from your Hand, Field or Graveyard, back to your Deck, in order to Fusion Summon Cyberdark Dragon. This goes along very well with That Grass Looks Greener which can greatly fill your Graveyard with Cyberdark monsters. Red-Eyes B. Dragon is the best selection because of how easily you can get it to the Graveyard by using Red-Eyes Insight, besides equipping it to your Cyberdark Dragon, since it will be destroyed and sent to the Graveyard(as Equip monster to Cyberdark Dragon) when Cyberdark Dragon would be destroyed by battle, it can also be Special Summoned from the Graveyard by using Red-Eyes Spirit, good flexibility.

Cyberdark Archetype

These are the Cyberdark monsters that are required as the Fusion Materials for Cyberdark Dragon.

Fusion Support

You can opt to use Polymerization to Fusion Summon, therefore you can use these cards to support your Fusion actions. Fusion Recycling Plant can recycle 1 fusion material monster to your hand, and also search for Polymerization from your deck. King of the Swamp can be treated as 1 fusion material required for Fusion Summon, and at the same time it also can be used to search 1 Polymerization from your Deck. Fusion Sage can search 1 Polymerization from your deck. De-Fusion is a powerful follow-up card when you attack with your Fusion monster, as it can dissolve the Fusion monster to resummon the Fusion materials from your Graveyard, enabling you more attack options. Fusion Reserve allows you to add 1 of the Fusion materials listed on the Fusion monster to your hand, and add 1 Polymerization from your Graveyard to your Hand.

Machine Support

All Cyberdark monsters are Machine-type, therefore they can benefit from the listed Machine-type Support cards.

I thought this card was some 🔥, then I realized you can mill five-headed dragon from your extra deck with claw. It's still not great but it's the best feeling in the world when you can pull that move off and win with it

1 question
How could Hell Kaiser Ryo equipped his Cyber End Dragon on Cyber Dark Dragon when its effect say Dragon-Tybe? Can we do this in the game?
<< Anonymous

He used an anime-exclusive card to enable that. (Rebirth Judgment, basically a DNA Surgery for the Graveyard.)

they give us this garbaj instead of the real cyber dragon (and its fusions) whilst fur hires, spellbooks and heros run rampant in duel links smh

I know, Jesus it’s like they’re terrified to give us a character archetype that’s actually good for once. Only generic trash or tier 3 at absolute best. Probably cause they want the “good” decks to be the ones you have to pay out the 🔥 for.

Ikr? They gave Alexis good stuff and then burned that to the ground when they decided that to get or complete anything good, it pretty much has to be bought with gems or money.

They didn't even balances the CA nerf by at least giving her better Skills.

I mean seriously, they murdered her signature deck, at least improve Alexis herself so we can use other decks with her.....

She should have gotten Restart and Life Boost Alpha, for starters.

Also, Draw Sense: Low Level. Yes she doesn't have it either.

Need some advise from master duel link how to play cyberdark?

Depends on what cards we get. Either way, don't build around Cyberdark Dragon, it's by far the worst Cyberdark monster. You focus on the low-levels, including like maybe 1 copy of Impact. Again, though, it depends. They could be rather powerful if we get Cyberdark Inferno, but odds are for the time being they'll just be fragile 2500 ATK beatsticks sadly.

There's a drop card from Syrus that let us dump monsters from Extra Deck to GY.

Cyberdark EdGy, please tell me the name of that card. is it fusion guard?
<< Anonymous(Hell Kaiser Fan)
Cyberdark EdGy Reply
Yup that's it. Pretty sure I got em from one of those Syrus events.

You do know that Fusion Guard only activates in response to effect damage, and sends 1 RANDOM monster from the Extra Deck to the Graveyard, don'tcha? You would need to have 3 Five Headed Dragons just to reduce the chances of getting an unlucky result...

I can't believe that they give us cyberdarks without the now support. They should have just given us full cyberdark support or cyber dragon support instead of giving us dark dark rewards and cyber dragon support from level up.
