Overview

Summon LIGHT monsters 200 times!

Once you summon a specific LIGHT-attribute monsters 200 times, she appears at the Gate and Ishizu unlock missions are available. For more details, check the link below.

Leveling up Ishizu is not a priority

Many of Ishizu level up reward are Gravekeeper’s card set. Although currently, the field spell “Necrovalley” are not yet available in the card pool. This makes the Gravekeeper’s theme-deck become quite weak when compared to beatdown deck in general.

Defeat her if you want to use Gravekeeper's

Most of Ishizu’s duel reward cards are Gravekeeper’s card set. However, without “Necrovalley” field spell in the card pool, it is quite difficult to construct a powerful deck based on Gravekeeper’s theme. Other monster cards that player can receive from her such as “Agido” and “Keldo” is just cards that were used in her deck in anime/manga, and useless.

Draw Pass In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, restores Life Points by 300. The skill can be used only three times per Duel.	Lv4
Fairy's Smile If you normal draw a Fairy-Type monster card during the Draw Phase, the card is shown to the opponent and you recover 1000 Life Points.	Lv13
Prescience Can be used when your opponent's Life Points are more than twice your Life Points. You can see cards at the top of decks of both players.	Lv20
Gravekeeper's lot Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random "Gravekeeper's" card.	Drop
No Mortal Can Resist Can be used when your Life points are at least 1000 less than the opponent's. All monsters in the opponent's Graveyard changes to Skull Servants (Zombie / DARK / Level 1 / ATK: 300 / DEF: 200). This skill can only be used once per turn.	Drop
Sealed Tombs Until the end of the opponent's next turn, neither player can banish cards from the Graveyard or Special Summon monsters from the Graveyard. This skill can only be used once per Duel.	Drop

Description in the game

Ishizu Ishtar is a descendant of the Gravekeeper family who have safeguarded the Millennium Items. She is determined to rescue her younger brother Marik fromthe darkness that has overtaken him. The power of her Millennium Necklace allows her to see the future.

Gravekeeper's Oracle is her other main card. No animation like Chief though.

Ok guys,
I was as desprate as some of you are to get this b*tch unlocked. I started with a deck full of light monsters. Did like 300-400 summons. NOTHING happened. Then I read that you have to summon 1 Light Monster 200 times. I switched to a normal beatdown deck with 3 Summoners (search for Guardian) and 1 Guardian (normal light 1650ATK). I did like 15 duels against Standart Duelists summoning the Guardian nearly every time.
Suddenly Ishizu unlocked!
So i can tell that you dont have to summon 1 Light Monster 200 times, at least not the same one, cause i didnt. Also it does not make a difference if you play effect or normal monsters. The only thing i am unsure of is if Tributing counts. In my case i think it didnt, so i ended up having 190 or so summons without tributing included when i switched to the "normal" deck.
This was by far the worst thing to unlock and do in the whole game. So i hope it might help some people.
Maybe she is simply bugged and glitched as hell and you never know when you will unlock her. (also possible)

Hi admin. The unlock mission stated here is causing some confusion because the mission presented in the game itself is worded wrongly. I am certain that the mission is to unlock a specific light monster 200 times. It can be a normal or effect monster. So if you've summoned BEWD 200 times, you would trigger her unlock. Again, it is not cumulative. If you made a deck filled with 20 light monsters, a separate stat will be counted for each of those monsters depending on how many times they were already summoned.

Thought it was a stage matters too but then i unlocked her at stage 27 and a friend of mine unlocked her at stage 24 or something like that

Admin please edit that to unlock Ishizu, you need to summon 200 LIGHT-attribute monsters that have no effects on them, so normal light cards.

I've used over 400 LIGHT monsters mixed with both effect and non-effect and nothing happened.

Also if the player can keep the same cards in the deck to do this then they should

so you have already unlocked her now? and confirmed normal monsters only? I believe you need to be at a certain stage for it to be unlocked, alongside the summoning of light monsters, but it's hard to be certain at when.

Nnope, BS, i pretty much only used Cerberus and just unlocked her. The only other Light monster i used was BEWD, but only a couple of times in the beginning.

Set doesn't count, only summon. Thats where all the confusion is coming from.

This skill is not as useless as it seems...
U can change the opponents graveyard monster to useless monster, that means monster with graveyard effects won't trigger anymore and the opponent most likely won't special summon those monster from graveyard, etc.

That skill will probably be awesome in tbe future but is somewhat situational at current, I mean, there's The Shallow Grave, Twin-Headed Behemoth, and that Dinosaur-summoning trap, I don't know if players can get the first, and the second is usually a one-off.

That said, a really good deck does not need the draw skills unless they are crucial to its functions, like the Cerberus deck.
