Varis Unlock Event | How to Farm Varis Lvl 60, 40 & Lvl30 [Jan 2023]

The standard Yubel farm deck still works pretty easily here. Though, it can be a problem if you aren't able to do the proper setup early in the duel since Varis can quickly Link summon her Link monsters.

Use Disciple of Nephthys to destroy the level 10 Yubel to summon Terror Incarnate so you can stall the duel. Normal summon Witch of the Black Forest so that they get destroyed by Terror Incarnate, then search each other so you can thin the deck faster.

Destroy Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys by using Disciple of Nephthys or Fire King Avatar Yaksha's effect, then you can special summon Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys by its own effect to destroy Tactical Exchanger. This will prevent the activation of Tactical Exchanger during your Final Turn and disrupt your Final Blow.

End the duel by Special summoning Montage Dragon with 2 Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare and 1 Yubel card from hand, then destroy Terror Incarnate using Exile of the Wicked. After that, activate Shien's Spy the Montage Dragon so you can attack it with Ultimate Nightmare.

Just go with Yubel's "My Name is Yubel" skill for a consistency boost.

You can use it with no skill set so it could be useful to farm Varis and unlock some skills at the same time. It's the usual Magician Girl Turbo deck. Since the effect of Quintet Magician will trigger Overflow Dragon's effect, you haven't to activate the effect of the first. Before summoning Quintet Magician, be sure Varis has more monsters in attack position than cards set in its spell&trap zone, or check if Quick Launch, Squib Draw, and Tactical Exchanger are in its GY to be sure they couldn't be those set cards.

Alternatively, if you want to bypass the field and GY check and Overflow Dragon's effect, you can replace one copy of Arcane Barrier with H - Heated Heart or Shooting Star Bow - Ceal. On the last turn activate Quintet Magician's effect to destroy all opponent's cards on the field, then use H - Heated Heart on Quintet Magician and go for a direct attack or attack a monster in defense position. In the case you replaced H - Heated Heart with Shooting Star Bow - Ceal, equip the latter to Quintet Magician, then go for a direct attack.
