How to play

Earn Map Fragments by defeating Duelists in Duel World!
When you collect enough Map Fragments, you will be able to locate Rare Hunters!
Defeat the Rare Hunters to find Yami Marik!
By proceeding through the event, you can Duel against the Rare Hunters at the Gate! Collect Event Points to progress!

A new skill for Yami Marik, "Power of the Tributed", can be obtained by defeating Yami Marik Lvl 50. A skill that gives The Winged Dragon of Ra the combined Attack points and combined Defense points of the monsters used to tribute summon it.

Arkana only shows up at the gate as a lvl 20, but he drops some SR and UR cards, including Anti-Magic Arrows which is a very useful card for both farming and pvp. Chances of obtaining the rare cards can be low, but it can be a good way to get them early if you don't want to wait until the return of Arkana's next event.

he has his own unlock event that already happened. it'll most likely be back though

I can't even battle any rare hunters. over 150 map pieces and no hunters will show up in the portal. :(

The Hunters shows up on the overworld like standard duelists, not on the portal....

I've just been randomly dueling Yami Marik with different decks, and then he used Ra's second (phoenix) effect to pay 1000 LP and 🔥 a monster which was by weird coincidence, Sacred Phoenix of Nephtys. I feel like I never see him use this effect. He had a little less LP and I think was at lv. 30. Out of curiosity, will he only use the second effect if he has less LP, or does anything else decide which effect he uses? I feel like I mostly just saw him using the first effect last time whenever he managed to get Ra out.

arkana level 30 has that equip magic that damages enemy for 500 when destroyed.

Marik’s new skill just basically is one of Ra’s anime effects when its summoned...Triple Blue Eyes tribute into Ra for easy 9k ATK anyone?

I can’t even tell you how many times I fused into Ultimate Dragon then defuse for an OTK wishing I had one of the gods in my hand. And I’ve summoned Ultimate at least 200 times over the last year and a half

The Lava Golem from this event comes glossy. Make sure to replace the non-glossy in decks that only use 2 Lava Golems.

You cant farm Arkana with Vassal, because he use Ready for Intercepting and turn your Vassal into face down, defense position....

during the last event i used a elements unite build with uforoid fighter, darkflare dragon(sanga and gg give you the removable monsters) and wingbeat of the giant dragon

I remembered this the hard way, lol. Nothing a card like Hey, Trunade or Forced Ceasefire couldn't fix, though. (Also, just attacking over his monsters with Gate Guardian is probably enough itself unless he draws it last turn.)
