Geartown Reflector: deck recipe [Dec 14 Updated]

Normal Summon Psi-Reflector, add Assault Beast from your Deck to your hand, discard Assault Beast to search Assault Mode Activate, Special Summon Assault Beast from the Graveyard via Psi-Reflector’s effect.

• If you increase Assault Beast’s Level by 1, you can Synchro Summon Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, White Aura Dolphin, or Stardust Charge Warrior.
• If you increase its Level by 2, you can Summon Black Rose Dragon or Ancient Fairy Dragon.
• If you increase its Level by 3, you can Summon Thought Ruler Archfiend, Red Dragon Archfiend, Scrap Dragon, or Stardust Dragon.
• If you increase Assault Beast’s Level by 4, you can Summon Vermillion Dragon Mech.

Synchro Summon Ancient Fairy Dragon using Psi-Reflector, destroy Mountain (Peak Performance), add Geartown from your Deck to your hand. Activate Geartown, destroy it using Galaxy Cyclone, Twister, De-Spell, or Uending Nightmare, Special Summon Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon from your hand, Deck or Graveyard.

Reactor Dragon is a Level 9 Machine with 3000 ATK and DEF that can shut down your opponent’s back row and even prevent their monsters from activating their effects on attack declaration.

Unfortunately, since you are mostly going to Special Summon this card, it’s not going to gain the ability to inflict piercing damage or to make a second attack during each Battle Phase, but it will still be able to destroy a Spell/Trap Card on the field at the end of the Damage Step whenever it attacks.

Since “at the end of the Damage Step” is still part of the Damage Step, if you target a face-down Spell/Trap, your opponent will not be able to chain it. You can even target and destroy your own Geartown or Ancient Gear Fortress to Summon another Reactor Dragon.

We are playing Peak Performance to have a Field Spell already on the field for Ancient Fairy Dragon to destroy. You can play Power of Dark, Mythic Depths, or even Fields of the Warriors.

• Cosmic Cyclone can be chained to Galaxy Cyclone or Twister and banish Geartown, preventing you from Summoning Reactor Dragon.
• Treacherous Trap Hole, Six Style - Dual Wield, and Yosenjus Sword Sting can be used to destroy or bounce Psi-Reflector and Assault Beast.
• If you draw all copies of Assault Mode Activate, you don’t have a reliable way of getting Assault Beast into the Graveyard anymore.
