  • Your opponent cannot activate anything while this card is attacking.

Tips

Summoning

Pay 2000 LP with Mausoleum of the Emperor to summon Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon. You can use Ancient Gear Castle with 2 or more counters as the tribute to summon Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon. Cost Down and Amarylease can be used together or individually to ease the summoning of Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon.

Keep in that the first two effects of Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon are dependent on the monsters you use to tribute summon him. Some of these methods may let you summon Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon without using any tribute fodder.

Geartown

When Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon attacks you can destroy your own Geartown to Special summon another Ancient Gear monster from your deck for an extra attack. Geartown will also help you ease the summoning of Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon.

It is in duel links only cos duel links is a shitty game. In TCG, it's a good card but not "broken" since there's so many other competitive decks.

It is not broken because in TCG everything is broken?

He said "more competitive" you moron. Not everything is broken.

To me, this card makes the deck a solid Tier 2. A bit bricky tbh, but when you have the right hand, it totally kicks ass.

It's extremely bricky and it can be countered with VERY old decks such as amazoness or buster blader.

DEFINITELY TIER 2

Hi guys.
Believe me when I say, THEY WILL NEVER limit this card.

They never limited silent magician, anki or canadia. What does make you think they are going to limit this one?

Not gonna happen.

armades and slugger are superior.

Slugger maybe, due to all of its supports, but Armades? lol no

Armades requires a specific condition to summon and only has 2300 ATK most of the time.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous 23days ago Reply
Slugger only if midfielder is on field as well. He will need more than one turn to reach more than 2800 ATK points which in the OTK meta is crucial. But yeah, it can PENALTY box the reactor dragon lol.

And thats the point when i deleted the game. 3 cards from this cancer is more than enough. Pay2win overall

Good deck, extremely vulnerable to a strong back row.

Lol holy cow how ironic I’m glad you caught this

how is this card not limited to 2

It's a UR from and EX deck.

We're more likely to get 5000 gems than this getting hit.

Does it cancel bujin effects

Unlike other Kuribohs, Winged Kuriboh's effect activates in the Graveyard after the Damage Step ended.

To above guy
"...UNTIL THE END of the damage step..."
Winged Kuriboh effect activates after it is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, which happens AT THE END of the damage step. So Reactor Dragon can not prevent Winged Kuriboh effect from activating in the graveyard.

I see but how about other monsters like grave squirmer and FK avatar yaksha?
<< Anonymous

"until the end of the Damage Step" in this context means "until the Damage Step ends". You can't use cards like Winged Kuriboh or Grave Squirmer if Reactor Dragon attacks it. (The end of the Damage Step is still part of the Damage Step, hence why you can't chain a card like Silent Graveyard to Winged Kuriboh.)

This card is only good because it can be special summoned and it can block all sorts of effects when it is attacked. Take that away, and it's just a 3k beater.

Another reason why a card like Cyber Twin Dragon and Cyber Dragon are fine in duel links... Jeeez Komoneyyyy

"This card is only good because [insert effect here]", applies to 95% cards of yugioh, just saying.

Yata-Garasu is only good because it skips the opponent's Draw Phase. Otherwise it's a 200 ATK monster that can't be Special Summoned, what a piece of crap.
Anonymous
can't believe they gave us this + Geartown but apparently Cyber Dragon is going to break the game by itself

We have plenty of decks that special summon multiple monsters. Some with 3000 attack like this and koa'ki meiru. So the special summon excuse does not cut it anymore for arguments against releasing cyber dragon.

Agreed, some people will claim that it'll make synchro summoning easier which is just BS in my book, and even if it were, it wouldn't be a bad thing with all those Canadias running around.

Personally though, I want some CyDra support like Cyber Dragon, Cyber Dragon Core and Cyber Twin Dragon... and we'll have maybe a rogue deck for starters...
