In a time where they're properly hitting the money cards, it is puzzling why this bs is still entirely free. It's so absurdly broken I can't even begin to describe. I really am sick and tired of seeing goddamn 3 of this 🔥 summoned in a SINGLE TURN every duel. The way it bypasses EVERYTHING including even monster effects ANYWHERE is just so bizarre. I never won against a Reactor Dragon deck other than it bricking.
It's because Ancient Gears don't see too much play compared to decks like Karakuri and Witchcrafter. I'll admit, the card is quite obnoxious, and I still never understand how the Vagabond so consistently gets 2-3 of them in one turn when I fight this deck. Your best bet against the deck is to banish the field spell and Fortress or make them miss timing (if it can miss timing).
I don't know how to make them miss timing. Removal for the field spell (Cosmic Cyclone) isn't searchable quickly.. it just becomes all about luck and I can't defend myself quickly enough. I tend to try the "don't set anything" strategy to avoid Double Cyclone but they can just release Wyvern or the AG Castle (thankfully the Vagabond doesn't get this) and start all the triple Reactor Dragon BS.
Could you please tell me how you will by pass a Sunsaga, Chidory, Madame Verre, Pugatrio+invoker? Because once your opponent sees your character will just summon one of these and just laugh.
I hate BS comments about "year". They can summon three huge beaters that bypass everything in one single turn. And it's a deck bizarrely untouched by the banlist other than a skill nerf in late 2017. Wow, if you laugh and think you win simply by seeing the opponent's character, you're in for a big fall. None of those monsters are invincible.
