I just got completely destroyed by this card in what was supposed to be a story event about 5D’s. Who the hell decided to make vagabonds forced opponents in such events that are no place for them. And why the hell is this card not limited, it 🔥ing stops me from playing the game at all. It simply shuts down my deck entirely, can be used multiple times per turn, LP doesn’t matter if my entire field is wiped out. God what the hell.

It costs 1000 LP per activation.
If it was once per turn, then it should cost 0 LP

Can someone tell me, why this card isnt as popular as other trap? I think this trap is hard counter for every single deck (except koaki and heroes) Because there is so many deck thats rely on face up s/t..amazon,ssa,katakuri,vampire,buster dna, or even AG, they r weaker without their face up s/t as a core of the deck...this card should deserve more popularity

You aren't wrong. It just that it's not versatile enough. You said it, this is dead card against some decks; while cosmic can do the same thing as well without being a dead card against other decks.

Fun fact. If you chain backrow removal to destroy Unending Nightmare later in the chain, Nightmare's destruction effect won't activate. This can potentially save your Geartown from missing timing.

Decent card to run in an AG deck. You can use it to pop your own Geartown + Fortress, plus in the mirror match you can chain it on to the opponent's Cyclone to make their Geartown miss timing.

You could also just use Typhoon for the same job. But not many people dug into Generation: NEXT.

Twister is better since it's a Quick-Play Spell. And the cost is only 500 LP.

I only have one cosmic cyclone and I've been encountering SSA decks with 3 of the SSA traps, would unending nightmare negate/destroy SSA? Thanks

Hi there, I'm afraid unending nightmare won't work. "Banishing" and "Destruction" are different effects; Banishing removes the card from the game and Destruction sends it to the graveyard. Cosmic Cyclone Banishes it, Unending Nightmare just Destroys it AND your opponent might avoid destruction by Banishing his own Lvl 5 or Higher Fish with the trap. When SSA is activated, it cannot be destroyed.

Super Rush Headlong is quite a good way to get rid of SSA, and it's way less expensive than Cosmic Cyclone ^^.

This card is also good against Silent decks, actually. They can only negate Spells, so they cannot negate an anti backrow that's a Trap card.

At what game phase can you start nuking enmey backrow? Can its effect trigger right after the opponent draws, standpy phase, or you have to wait for main phase?

If you have your response button toggled to 'on', you can use it as you said, otherwise it would ask you whenever your opponent plays a card, or their end phase.

They should release this card but make it so that you can only activate it once per week per acco...
