Using healing cards and Des Counterblow, you can effectively stall the duel by sustaining through all the damage you took. Combined with the skill "Destiny Draw", you can always draw the cards that you need from your deck.
For Destiny Draw decks, the idea behind it is to use the skill multiple times by taking damage and healing up to compensate for the damage taken. Repeat the process until you can finish the duel with your combo. You get to choose what card to draw from your deck during your draw phase if your opponent deals at least 2000 damage to you, regardless whether it is by effect or by battle.
Starting the duel, if you don't get the cards that you need, simply set/use any healing card that you have. If you don't get a Des Counterblow in your hand, you will need to be more conservative and manage your LP carefully to survive the rounds. It's usually recommended to let Bakura's first attack go through, in case he tribute summons into a Ha Des for your Javelin/Nutrient. You don't need to heal that much if you already have a lot of LP when you are nearing your final turns. This is because sometimes Bakura will not summon and attack with any monsters, which can leave your trap card(s) unused, and you need at least 1 empty spell/trap zone for the last turn.
After you have taken at least 2000 damage, you can use Destiny Draw during your draw phase. Prioritize on getting the cards for your setup, which is Des Counterblow, some healing cards, and Pot of Benevolence to remove Bakura's Necrofear. De-Spell is used to destroy Bakura's Burning Land, while The Golden Apples is good for stalling when he summons his high attack monster. Make sure to not attack Bakura using your monsters to deal battle damage. Finishing the duel with effect damage only will give a bonus.
Here are the list of cards you will need during the early turns, with the top having the highest priority and the bottom having the lowest priority:
Summon Vassal and use Secret Pass to the Treasures, as well as double Union Attack. Then special summon Bakura's Dark Necrofear using your Autonomous Action Unit, and attack directly using Vassal. This will deal over 5,000 damage using Vassal. You can bring an additional Autonomous Action Unit, or any other high attack special summon monster, to increase Vassal's attack to reach 10k damage, but it will have a higher risk of getting a bad draw.
