This pack is the first time Duel Links has introduced support to the very unique "Lvl" archtype. Along with this we also get Silent Magician Lvl8 one of the most powerful monster in Yugi's deck during the original series. This pack also provides excellent draw and search cards probably to support the new Exodia skill.

Who should buy this pack

Buy this pack if you want to make a deck around Lvl monsters. This pack also provides support to spell counter decks and WATER decks. In terms of versatility this pack does have has some cards that can be splashed on to any deck, Unified Front can act as sort of an attack boost and/or defense card similar to Rising Energy, Emergency Provisions provides quick heals and can be chained with your spell/trap cards. Draw and search power is also very prominent in this pack, which might be useful in farming decks and Exodia decks.

[UR] Spear Dragon

	★4/WIND/Dragon/ ATK 1900/DEF 0
During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent. If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step.

[UR] Silent Magician Lvl8

	★8/LIGHT/Spellcaster/ ATK 3500/DEF 1000
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by "Silent Magician LV4" and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card is unaffected by your opponent's Spell effects.

[SR] Greenkappa

	★3/WATER/Warrior/ ATK 650/DEF 900
FLIP: Target 2 Set Spell/Trap Cards on the field; destroy those targets.

[SR] Emergency Provisions

	Quick-Play Spell Card
Send any number of other Spell and Trap Cards you control to the Graveyard. Gain 1000 Life Points for each card sent.

[SR] Limit Reverse

	Continuous Trap Card
Target 1 monster with 1000 or less ATK in your Graveyard; Special Summon it in Attack Position. If the target is changed to Defense Position, destroy it and this card. When this card leaves the field, destroy the target. When the target is destroyed, destroy this card.

Possible Combos

Playing with Lvl monsters

Summon Silent Magician LV4, then use Level Up! on her to special summon Silent Magician LV8 from your deck.
Silent Magician LV8 is a 3500 attack beater that can overpower almost anything. Furthermore, she is immune to your opponent's spells.
After attacking with Silent Magician LV8, you can use Level Down!? to special summon Silent Magician LV4 for an extra attack.

Draw Power

Use Limit Reverse to special summon Vortex Trooper from your graveyard.
Change Vortex Trooper to defense position so that he will be destroyed by Limit Reverse.
Draw a card when Vortex Trooper is destroyed.

Unified Front Pierce

Since you cannot attack directly when you use Unified Front, using a monster with pierce effect is recommended.
Use Unified Front on Submarine Frog and discard a powerful monster. (e.g. Spiral Serpent)
Attack any monster your opponent controls to inflict a large amount of damage.

XYZ decks are fun to play, even if it's not tier 1. Frog OTK deck and Ice Barrier decks are great. And with Nyan Nyan and the Thunder trap card, Thunder decks are about to be good to play.

Greenkappa is the only one really good here. Silent magician decks could be tier 2 but i don.t see how they would become tier 1
