NOTES

The GameA Tier List is primarily based on King of Games decks submitted by users and performance in Tournament.

Tier list

Decks in Tier 1 and 2 are ones that are known to have achieved good success against other decks/players.

Meta decks

Meta decks are decks that are often commonly used by players in PvP. Meta decks will often change depending on newer cards or strategies, so we will keep updating this page often to keep everyone informed of newer decks.

Tier 0

Tier 0 decks are decks that completely dominate a meta and you either play the same deck or a deck that completely counters it (but loses to almost any other deck).

There are currently no Tier 0 decks

Tier 1

These decks are very well rounded. They have ways to deal with almost every deck and have very few weaknesses themselves.

I think you can afford to run a couple Xyz in the extra deck once we have more good generic Rank 4 ones.

Honestly, I've been a day one player since the app's inception; I've went from free to play, to spend a little here and there -BUT I MUST COMPLAIN. WITCHCRAFTERS SHOULD HAVE GOT CUT AT LEAST 1. Tech cards+quick effect, boost attack, recycle... Got damn.

Out of your mind? They got huge nerf already. Shiranui, blackwing, ritual beast and satellarknights require some nerf. Witchcrafter is probably not even tiered anymore.

dark magician: i only need the circles, kycoo and 1 herald of the abyss

ritual beast: should build it from 0, and shearch 2 Sphere kuriboh and 2 herald of the abyss.

Dark magician is tier one if it goes 1st. Tier 3 if it goes second or if it goes versus mill decks. If you dont open with circle or if it is destroyed good luck if you opponent summons a 2500+ attacker or a target immunity monster. If dm doesnt win by turn 6 it runs of resources and usually looses.

Dark Magician nowadays is boring as f. Don’t go for that. I like the witchcraft box. You also get Evil eyes that are great to play against the tired decks.

Hi I run lunalights with good success tho I am annoyed by people just giving up if I manage to summon cat dancer via crimson fox and emerald bird why do they give up I really want to know

I swear no game has made me want to strangle my opponent and bash the skull in more than this game. I feel like I’m not actually losing the duel but losing the coin toss. DL needs to revamp their game, it’s bad enough that it’s difficult to promote but so easy to demote.

you can play your current non-meta deck in casual. That's the purpose of Casual Duels, right?

Wrong. Casual duels also matches you against players of the same rank as you. And when they are platinum or higher they all use copy-paste deck from somewhere. Not original or refreshing at all.

I have been playing since 2017. I think the ranked system now is just about right. Back then you only duel players in the same rank, from Plat 3 to KOG you often get paired with another 4-win streak player. Now in Legend you could get an opponent from any Legend 1-5 rank.

Keep trying. If you have a decent win rate you‘ll eventually get to kog if you just keep trying

Guys, is it still worth it to build shiranui deck? No, not for rank climbing just for casual pvp, so far I just played old deck like spelbook/dm or even triamid and aromages for fun

Exactly the reason why you should build it, its nothing without the backrows. This leads a new player in getting staple backrow than trying to build a deck with support from different boxes.

Thats exactly what happen in TCG. The only difference is, those staple backrows are replaced with Hand trap

This is my current deck. Its a 100 % F2P but it's an account reset so i'm not a new player.
Shiranui Neos (I also play standard shiranui if i feel like my neos shira is failing)
3x solitaire
2x spectralsword
2x Keeper of dragon magic
2x neos Fusion
3x Balista squad
1x cosmic cyclone
1x raigeki break
1x ultimate providence
1x bad aim
1x E-Hero neos
2x Flood gate

Extra Deck: 2x Brave neos + Shira

What I did is i looked for the best deck that is from a mini box and used my dream tickets for a neos engine since im F2P. Afterwards I started opening box for only staples simply because the small core of Shiranui allowed me to use them in my current deck. I reached KOG this way.
