NOTES

The GameA Tier List is primarily based on King of Games decks submitted by users and performance in Tournament.

Tier list

Decks in Tier 1 and 2 are ones that are known to have achieved good success against other decks/players.

Meta decks

Meta decks are decks that are often commonly used by players in PvP. Meta decks will often change depending on newer cards or strategies, so we will keep updating this page often to keep everyone informed of newer decks.

Tier 0

Tier 0 decks are decks that completely dominate a meta and you either play the same deck or a deck that completely counters it (but loses to almost any other deck).

There are currently no Tier 0 decks

Tier 1

These decks are very well rounded. They have ways to deal with almost every deck and have very few weaknesses themselves.

As soon as you hit Stage 18 for KC cup, have fun dueling with nothing but Sylvans. Had to tweak my Aster deck to get to Dlvl Max and it worked really well with synergy:

2x Decider
3x Drilldark
3x Celestial
1x Vyon
3x Mask change
2x Chalice
2x Divine Wrath
2x Econ
2x Cosmic Cyclone

hey need adivce, been playing for lil over a month spent my first batch of gems building an alien which i kinda regret now even tho its gotten me by, what deck should i build with my next 10,000 gems considering it will be really hard to build a third deck so i have to make the second deck count and last awhile, been debating btw masked, CA, fish, SSA, gregiano, or slyvan, any help would be cool

When I decided to play ca it wasn't because it was a meta deck or a tier 1, it was because I like to play rituals and chain combos, also the OTK. So, I'd say choose a deck that you will enjoy playing and doesn't bore you. Now I'm at KoG rank, and so you can be playing SSA, it is not a tier 2 deck lol. Archfiends also come in the same abyss box (the best so far, at least for me).

If you want to w8 for future boxes, i'd say stay with a f2p deck like flying fish and invest in Servant of kings, it has wall of disruption and draining shields. You can also invest in some other useful Tech cards, super rush headlong, etc.

People saying SSA is Tier 2 have lost their minds! Just because people play Sylvans now does not mean it is no longer viable. It's so easy to bring out Citadel Whale and get combos going. Even a few tech cards to stop them is all you need.

Actually it's quite possible for sylvans to beat SSA, if only by the virtue of removing all your monsters... In fact that might not even be necessary if the sylvan used Rose Lover and special summon the tree. But just because SSA is supposedly T2 doesn't mean it is bad. It's just that GameA consider it worse than Syvlan. Personally I think the tiers are subjective... everyone has a different list.

More and more people are not running two Cosmic Cyclones anymore because of Sylvan, and most SSA decks have at least two SSA cards. The only way Sylvan beats SSA is by virtue of bad hand. Abyss Warrior will take out sets and discard Fishborg to bring out Citadel Whale on turn two, and that only one combo choice! At that point it is almost impossible for a Sylvan victory. SSA 75% and Sylvan 25%.

Agree! SSA player here, turn 2 whale is a BEAST plus if you have early abyss warrior and whale to discard.. OMG. However, I find it a bit problematic that ULTIMATE PROVIDENCE(S) are being used against me after turn 1, so if I didn't play first and there's a Set card, I'm now cautious to use monster effects becaue it will leave my field open and very hard to recover from that onwards.

3 copies of Abyss Warrior keeps SSA Tier 1, that card is is more essential in the current meta than Citadel Whale for SSA.

So this game is now tottaly P2W guys. There's no way a free to play player or even a budget player can keep up with the meta. Sure, the goal of a company is to make money, but Konami has been way too greedy lately, releasing new boxes and completely changing the meta every 🔥ing month. I'm a budget player, and even spending some bucks I can't play competitively. RIP duel links

I'm a budget and there's no way you can get dark worlds or other such decks through f2p unless you only play 2-3 decks

Well, thats how F2P survive in long run. Focus on building 1-3 strong decks, Dont buy unnecessary box if it's not needed, climb KoG to get the most gems, and clear all events for gems

At least you are admitting they stay focused on some decks and not all the cards. Unfortunately...when the meta changes, then these f2p players are left with no more choices if they want to keep playing. Think GB versus Geargia...or Sylvans. They spent all they had on GB, now they are screwed.

Not really. Actually, if you invest in Galactic Ori for GB, you probably get 1-2 Saffira while digging for GB cards, and im talking as the one who did this. Now I have CA (full set but only 2 Senju) and GB deck. Every box always include F2P and P2W deck.

Might as well add the weather painter archetype

It's not really good in the real life game but i can see its potential in duel links

Hey! I just started duel links and i'm faced to a dilemma, I need your advices :

My primary idea was to have Cyber Angel's deck. But when i saw how difficult it was to have (i spend 1000 gems) i decice to buy abyss encouter's box. Then i choose to take Alien's deck (which was 1 tier at this moment), i almost complete the deck (btw i'm so dissapointed that it become 2 tier...)

Nevermind, on what deck should i spend my precious gems? Sylvan? Or should i try again to have cyber angel's deck? Masked heroes ?

I just want having fun when i'm playing (and if it possible beautiful cards) and of course win the more i can do

I hope this text wasn't too long... And I'm sorry if i misspoken, i'm a french girl

SSA needs "early protection" for your monsters, just in case you can't summon 2 or more monsters in one turn (though it should be easy with Fishborgs and Beautunaful Fish), so you need atleast 2 econs and 2 Sphere Kuribohs. Traps van't be trusted nowadays, since Hey Trunade CAs and Rose Lover Sulvans plague the competitive field.

Mako? I honestly don't remember when he is unlocked. Just keep advancing the in-game stage and he should appear at some point. I think you should wait before considering Sylvan. The thing is Sylvan has been used TOO much, and I think most people will complain about in the event survey. And really, look into Aromage. It's a F2P deck where you just need in-game gold to trade for them.

SSA user: I notice thank you, i dont have theses cards for now but i will focus on it (but i have 2 ennemy controler and 1 miror wall, its nothing but it helps me a lot :D)

To be honest when you are at that point probably best to invest your gems in boxes that you already invest in and try to build good deck out of cards you found in that box. Abyss Encounter is a pretty nice box for that since the good decks come out of it mostly does not require other box as much to be good. (Namely Alien, SSA) after that maybe collect more staple from other box like super rush...

Hello everyone

I havent played duel links since Valkyrie's Rage and the meta has changed.
I am willin to pay for a more expensive deck exept cyber angels. What do i go for?
I really liked masked hero anki and the deck for that card. Is it worth? Will it stay relevant? I just need a bit of help so i can play pve and competitive.

All advice is apreciated.
(Pls dont judge me english i am no native speaker xd)

You're a dragon lover but you're not working on a dragon deck!? That said, I don't blame you. I switched to a dino deck myself. I don't see how Anki would get invalidated... except if they get limited or something. You don't really need help for PvE, but as for competitive... best jump into it and see for yourself. There is no better way to learn than facing those decks yourself.
