Super Vehicroid: deck recipe

update 30/03/2019

Overview

This is a Fusion Deck that focuses on Summoning Super Vehicroid Jumbo Drill via Vehicroid Connection Zone, giving it protection for cards like Survivals End and Treacherous Trap Hole.

Mixeroid and Megaroid City allow you to quickly go through your Deck and Special Summon or add to your hand exactly what you need, partially making up for how difficult the “Vehicroid” Fusion Monster is to bring out.

Fusion Reserves - Roids
Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. From your Deck, add 1 Fusion Material whose name is specially listed on a "roid" Fusion Monster card in your Extra Deck. This Skill can only be used once per Duel.

How To Use

Mixeroid

Once per turn, Mixeroid allows you to Tribute a Machine-Type monster to Special Summon a non-WIND “Roid” monster from your Deck. Normal Summon Mixeroid, Tribute it and Special Summon Drillroid, Steamroid or Submarineroid from your Deck.

You cannot use King of the Swamp or Goddess with the Third Eye as Fusion Materials for Super Vehicroid Jumbo Drill, so Mixeroid’s ability to Special Summon whatever you need directly from your Deck is extremely valuable. Since Mixeroid is a WIND monster, you cannot Tribute it to Special Summon another copy of Mixeroid from your Deck.

Megaroid City

Once per turn, by destroying another card you control, Megaroid City allows you to add a “Roid” card from your Deck to your hand. Megaroid City gives you access to Vehicroid Connection Zone, your Polymerization, and Emergeroid Call, a powerful Counter Trap. You can also use your Field Spell to add one of your “Roid” monsters from your Deck to your hand, if you already have Vehicroid Connection Zone available.

If one of your “Roid” monsters battles, once per turn, during damage calculation only, by sending a “Roid” monster from your Deck to the Graveyard, Megaroid City allows you to switch the original ATK and DEF of your monster. Take advantage of Mixeroid and Submarineroid’s high DEF, think your Deck and set up your Graveyard.

Cybernetic Fusion Support

By paying half your Life Points, once, if you Fusion Summon a Machine-Type monster this turn, Cybernetic Fusion Support allows you to banish monsters from your hand, field and/or Graveyard as Fusion Materials. Activating this Quick-Play Spell will give you direct access to Fusion Reserves - Roids, allowing you to add Drillroid, Steamroid or Submarineroid from your Deck to your hand.

Emergeroid Call

Emergeroid Call can negate the activation of a Spell/Trap Card or monster effect and then send all cards with the same name as that card from the activating player’s Deck and Extra Deck to the Graveyard. Emergeroid Call does not destroy the Spell/Trap Card or monster whose effect was negated, so you can freely negate Geartown and Ancient Gear Fortress without having to worry about your opponent Summoning an Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon. You need to control a “Roid” Fusion Monster in order to activate Emergeroid Call and you can search it via Megaroid City’s effect.

Once per turn, you can banish Emergeroid Call from your Graveyard to add a “Roid” monster from your Graveyard to your hand. You can destroy Emergeroid Call to activate Megaroid City’s effect and then banish it to add Mixeroid or any other “Roid” monster back to the hand.

The Extra Deck

Super Vehicroid Jumbo Drill is a 3000 ATK Machine-Type monster with the ability to inflict piercing damage. We only have two “Vehicroid” Fusion Monsters in Duel Links and the other one requires 4 Fusion Materials in order to be Summoned, so this is as good as it gets.

You can pay half your Life Points and banish Mixeroid and 4 other Machine-Type monsters from your Graveyard to Special Summon Pair Cycroid from your Extra Deck. After expending all of your resources to Summon Super Vehicroid Jumbo Drill, Special Summoning Pair Cycroid and attacking your opponent directly for 1600 is a great way to close the game.

Keep in mind that, if you Special Summoned it via Mixeroid’s effect, Pair Cycroid will be destroyed during the End Phase.

why fusion reserves over check out my ride?

the description of ride skill is : when your lp drops 1000 instead of your normal draw : draw a roid monster of your choice. NOT RANDOM.

Fusion Reserves doesn't replace your Normal Draw, it gives you a free card.

you're right.

Im sad people still don't value Barbaroid or Stealth-Union for this deck. Barbaroid wreak havok on a board that relies on special effects, and Stealth Union can steal something your opponent has, potentially leaving them wide open.

I think the reason is how much it takes to summon them.

Why only 1 Emergeroid call. Having 3 can basically shutdown up to 9 cards of annoying cards

I think it's because of the whole "you have to control a 'roid' fusion monster," making it a dead draw in a lot of circumstances, especially in your opening hand since getting out a fusion roid can be a chore sometimes, even with a deck like the above.

My thoughts as well. Connection Zone is way too limiting a card since it requires specifics. With the new fusion cards for this deck, plus Emergeroid Call, you can get scary super fast.
Anonymous
Barbaroid anyone? With the new cards its not at all hard to mill out stuff to fusion with. If you run Truckroid you can mill the stuff you steal (since it technically belongs to you now) and the also have Expressroid to bring stuff back from the graveyard. Connection Zone isn't even that good if you consider the fact that Emergenroid Call does just that, while also ditching everything similar that could threaten your card. Ive seriously screwed over certain decks with that combo.

This deck is fun. Made it to KoG very quickly with maybe 1 loss for every 8 wins. And the best part is, this isn't even a 🔥 op deck like AG xD

How it isn't a 🔥 OP deck if you climb to KOG very quickly with it?

They allow Dimensional Prison, Canadia, and many other bs op cards, so this isn't even close to being as bad as those. But I can confirm that I made KoG with this deck and it was fun as hell doing it

Your suppose to use necrofusion for vechroids.

Connection Zone gives it protection from destruction by card effects, Necro Fusion doesn't.

Obviously I'm not telling you you shouldn't play Necro Fusion in your "Roid" deck, I'm just explaining why it's not in the Example Deck.

I know it may be slow, but I do recommend Future Fusion for this deck, by selecting a copy of Barbaroid as material. This way, you send plenty of material to the grave, which can then be used with Cybernetic Fusion Support or (possibly) Necro Fusion. Since the deck lists only 4 fusions, you have room for Barbaroid as a 5th.

Maybe you can squeeze a gravity blaster. The 400 is just enough to break over 3k and negates Yubel & Swordswoman.

You could take out one copy of Cybernetic Fusion Support for that
