I swear that wasn't in the list when I posted that. >.> Maybe the fact it's the first card listed made me skip past it, but I could swear Playmaker was the first card.

Yeah, Valafar is hilariously bad, despite being Koa'ki Meiru's only boss monster until Maximus.

some dudes also take the risk to take 3000 dmg when summoning it with core reinforcements.
Not gonna b limited 22days ago
Deck is a bit bricky and banishing your core is quite a heavy cost.

That being said... IF THEY DIDN'T LIMIT SAMURAI SKULL, they won't limit Maximus.

Not yet, anyway.

I don't think it needs to be limited either. Needs banishing to summon and can't stay in the field by himself. In other words, it needs at least 2 other cards to be on field.

Semi limit maximus. No trunade nor tth should be allowed for this deck

I want Maximus and Sandman to both be Semied personally. That way they're fully vulnerable to backrow like 90% of other decks, which is made up for by Urnight and Maximus being such strong cards.

Semi limit diamond core.It makes their monsters are invincible for destruction and it's too OP

3000 attaсk is overkill
wtf one per turn target and destroy 1 card your opponent controls

Hmm? ^What did he mean by this?

Maybe he thinks it's not that broken since it says once per turn and it can be negated / avoided in many ways.

Econ take this, ez win.

My thoughts exactly.

It's all Konami's plan. Amazoness Onslaught was once not popular until Konami released Amazoness Princess. GameA rated Maximus as B- , but after Konami released Diamond Core Maximus became one of the most overused card in the ladder. I won't be surprised if Maximus fate would be the same as Onslaught. Hello banlist.

Can anyone list the main counters for this card please?

This is definitely the boss monster, but limiting it doesn't kill the deck. At worst makes it more vulnerable to Spellbook decks, but those are on the decline.

I'd hit Sandman to weaken this decks backrow protection. Slows down this decks ability to setup it's OTK.

Better limiting the diamond core to slow them
