Does this card still need to be limited really? There's far more powerful cards in the game now, it's been power-crept a bit as plenty of cards have protection against it.

Anonymous Reply
Yeah, should be at least dropped down to limited 2 or limited 3 by now, with Iron Core dropped from limited 2 to limited 3.

just play Thunderdragons
<< Anonymous

It's not about Thunder Dragons being better or anything, it's about this card now clogging the limited list for no real reason.

If I were the GMs I will only add more broken cards into the banlist without removing any even for no real reason.

Konami missed some profits by making this a rare instead of an ultra rare.
<< Anonymous
Rana Linchen Aoi Reply
No. Konami did make some profit by making many people buy Gaia Genesis and Evolution Beginning, only to limit this card later when they already made enough profit.

It would be harder to limit this card if it was UR.

Anonymous Reply
True. Here's why:

Limit a UR card -> people will only go through the box once to get that 1 allowed copy of a UR card

Limit a R card -> people will get that 1 allowed copy very soon but might go through the box several times anyway to get the UR cards

That's why they prefer limiting R cards instead of SR or UR.

The -1 is offset by destroying a card by its effect or monster through battle.

Great powerhouse, but econ take beats it easily n.n

*looks at card description* yeah I mean I don't know what Konami thinks when they make cards.

I hate this card it looks almost like a rat
Not gonna b limited
Deck is a bit bricky and banishing your core is quite a heavy cost.

That being said... IF THEY DIDN'T LIMIT SAMURAI SKULL, they won't limit Maximus.

How are you doing in Shadow Realm?

Well, he was right since BOTH maximus and sam skull are limited lol

So today i was fighting the Vagabond and he pulled more than 1 Maximus... is the CPU not affected by the limited card restriction?

PS = The vagabond uses real people's decks so i checked his deck post battle and i saw 3 Maximus (despite clearly being limited to 1) and 3 Iron Core... does someone knows if this is plain cheating or does the vagabond not have any rules?

"Excellent Dueling" indeed

So the game doesn't even bother to check pre-battle if you break the rules? Naisuuu

Vagabond uses people's Ranked decks from a certain period of time, which depending on the time, may include the days before the banlist hits.

Even with the upcoming nerf, this thing is so BS to play against. The whole point of it, and the Koaki deck in general is super rushdown. This thing should only proc its special when its summoned, not once every turn. The deck should not have giant, scary, face-eaters that also maintain board control.

Either make the special proc only when its summoned, or force you to pay some penalty like discarding.

The whole point of Koa'ki deck in general, is Control. That's why they have monsters that disables certain opposing monsters or actions.

Not zerg rush OTK.

Well it’s become abundantly clear that none of you are capable of having a civilized conversation without personally attacking someone in the process (and avoiding talking about the deck entirely). The immaturity here is laughable, but I should’ve expected as much from people who devote so much of their lives and money to a digital children’s card game. This channel is supposed to be about discussing the deck, not randomly attacking those who oppose your opinion.

You did not think it could actually be children who play in the children game?

How unexpected

Big hit on Koaki deck, nice one Konami.
Anonymous
Well I just got a load of these and to be quite frank sick of seeing it, guess I won't be making a Ko'aki deck.

In fact I may as well start making unga bunga decks as everything just gets nerfed into oblivion anyway.

Guess I could use dinos for a month or two.

Outside of mirror force and it's other counterparts, this card is also one of the best traps...
They should release this card but make it so that you can only activate it once per week per acco...
Noah is in the game. But you have to unlock Atticus (GX) first before you can unlock him.
