Many Counter Trap cards have discard costs for activating them. Discard Radiant Jeral to heal LP and gain value from the card you discarded.
A good way to send it to the graveyard is to usually tribute it. You can do this by using Enemy Controller and taking control of your opponent's monster or tribute into a higher level monster. Neo-Parshath can be good since it takes advantage of your high LP and using the field spell to increase its attack.
