Once per turn, during either player's turn, when an effect of a card in the Graveyard is activated: You can negate the activation. During either player's turn: You can Tribute this Synchro Summoned card; Special Summon 1 LIGHT Dragon-Type Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck in Defense Position, except "Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon", but destroy it during the End Phase of this turn.

RatingB+

Pros

  • Negates effects activated from the graveyard.
  • Special Summons a LIGHT Dragon monster from your Extra Deck.

Cons

  • Costly to summon.
  • Tributes itself to use third effect.
  • Special Summoned monster is destroyed during the End Phase.

Tips

Blue-Eyes

Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon will be easy to summon in a Blue-Eyes deck because of the monsters that act as Blue-Eyes White Dragon and the level-1 Tuners.

Special Summonable Monsters

Here are some of the monsters you can Special Summon when you tribute Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon. Monsters like Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon and Stardust Spark Dragon with self protection effects will allow them to survive past the End Phase.

Another support for blue eyes
Where are the REDD and upgraded fusions for red eyes?

Considering how great blue eyes and dark magician have become, it would be nice to add red eyes transmigration and one of the other fusions, maybe black flare dragon :) red eyes darkness dragon wont see play because they took so long to introduce him that he is already outdated and useless, except if its a skill (and we dont lose the red eyes monster used, but send to graveyard instead)

Actually I think that Red-eyes boss monster is better than this Synchro monster as a boss.

Red-eyes Slash can win the game by itself. BE Spirit cannot win the game alone.

only very dumb people take sides between dm and bewd without enjoying the game. Are you guys flawed?

the artwork looks amazing, as always.

kind of good, mostly 🔥ty

I know this card can ss stardust spark, but the real question is, if the spark use the effects after that, is it still gets destroyed or not?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
if Spark targets itself with its effect then it should not be destroyed.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
The issue is that Spark negates destruction only once if I'm not wrong.
If your opponent destroys it by battle during the same turn it's over for him.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Stardust Spark's effect isn't only once.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
it only protects once on the turn it's used.

The police are after this card. It allegedly killed Dark Magician.

Duel links pro Reply
Doesn't stop navigations first effect also chaining rod indeed negates maiden when circle targets her

Well, Dark Magician was made to be top tier for a long time. This surprises no one.

Navigation summons a DM then summons from the deck so they aren't summoned at the same time. It does negate the graveyard effect of navigation though.

FINALLY!! I predicted this so hard! I don't know why exactly, but for the past few weeks I've just had this feeling that they were gonna give us more Blue-Eyes support, and this card seemed like the obvious choice. Maybe I just felt that way because of the recent Dark Magician support? Anyways, I'm so excited! We got Sage and Maiden aswell! I doun't know if this'll be enough to make Blue-Eyes top tier again, but I mean it's a step in the right direction!

It doesn't protect from Dark Magic Circle though.
And it doesn't help against Dark Cavalry.

It would be awesome if DSOD Kaiba has a line with this Synchro monster

So far, in most replay I watched (where Spirit Dragon was used against another deck) the Blue eyes deck loosed.

Makes me wonder why I'm going through the new box.

Only about 20 packs remaining and I still didn't get him and another SR.

Anyway, BE was supposed to be all about trading their effects for big stats.
Today BE cards are outclassed on both the effect and stats departement.

she doesn't have a line with it because she never summon it in Anime nor appear in Manga.

RIP Magician's Navigation and Ritual Beast Ambush

I tested it and Revival Gift does hard counter Magician navigation.

And as a bonus you also get a tuner on your field for free.

It's nice to have a F2P card that can counter a P2W card.

Anonymous Reply
doesn't counter Navigation, Navigation special summons one by one, not two at once.

"doesn't counter Navigation, Navigation special summons one by one, not two at once."
That's the point.
Scenario: opponent has no monsters.
When your opponent activates Navi, chain it with Revival Gift to fill 2 of their monster card zones. Your opponent can only summon 1 monster.

Scenario: Opponent has 1 monster.
Your opponent's Navi can't summon anything.

Sorry, should have made it clear that I was talking to the OP, not to the Revival Gift post (which I actually didn't notice until now, my bad.)
