“Reptilianne” is an archetype of mostly DARK Reptile-Type monsters based on Indian and Greek mythology.
Being a rather small archetype, the most surprising thing is the fact that the cards that belong to it were not released all at once in Blackstorm Rising, notably leaving out Reptilianne Naga, the card that could have actually made “Reptilianne” competitively viable.
This archetype focuses on reducing the ATK of the opponent’s monsters to 0 in order to enable certain effects that usually involve taking control of those monsters or destroying them.

Ojama Go! Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1800. Special Summon "Ojama Token" on your opponent's side of the field in Defense Position. This Skill can only be used once per Duel. | Chazz Princeton |
Holy Guard You receive no battle damage during your turn. | Tea Gardner |
Reptilianne Lamia has an amazing set of effects that can possibly cripple a full field of monsters. If have a level-4 monster on the field, Special Summon Reptilianne Lamia, debuff an opponent's monster, and make Reptilianne Hydra. Reptilianne Hydra will destroy all your opponent's 0 attack monsters then give you extra draws for each monster destroyed.
After using Reptilianne Lamia as synchro material, you can reduce 2 more of your opponent's monsters' attack to 0. Use those monsters to summon Reptilianne Vaskii, or they can be attack targets for your Synchro monster.
You want to get Reptilianne Lamia as early and as often as possible to make your stronger monsters so here are some ways you can search her. Reptilianne Gardna is the Reptilianne archetype searcher. You can also use the skill Light and Dark to return Alien Grey to the deck and search Reptilianne Lamia.
Statue of Anguish Pattern as a monster with 0 attack so you can use it as tribute for Reptilianne Vaskii. It is also a level-4 monster so it can be used with Reptilianne Lamia to make your level-6 Synchro monsters. With 2500 defense it can be a decent wall. And finally, if you activate another Statue of Anguish Pattern while one is face-up on the field as a monster, you get to destroy a card your opponent controls.
After using Reptilianne Lamia as synchro material, you can reduce two of your enemy monsters' attacks to 0. Use those monsters as tribute to summon Reptilianne Vaskii. Statue of Anguish Pattern and Reptilianne Gardna can also be used as tribute for Reptilianne Vaskii.
If you do not have a level-4 monster on the field, you can use Reptilianne Lamia and the monster she debuffed as tribute.
If you Tribute Yubel or Yubel - Terror Incarnate from the opponent’s side of the field in order to Special Summon Reptilianne Vaskii, their effects will not trigger because they will miss the timing.
Reptilianne Vaskii has a pretty high ATK, Special Summoning her doesn't take away your Normal Summon/Set and, once per turn, she can destroy a face-up monster your opponent controls.
You can Special Summon Reptilianne Vaskii from your hand by Tributing two monsters with 0 ATK from either side of the field: you can use Fires of Doomsday, Mecha Phantom Beast Hamstrat and the Skill Ojama Go! to generate 0 ATK Tokens and then Tribute them—Fires of Doomsday prevents you from Summoning monsters the turn you activate it, so you will likely want to use it during the end of the opponent’s turn—or use Reptilianne Gorgon, Reptilianne Poison and Wall of Disruption to reduce to 0 the ATK of monsters your opponent controls.
Another way to reduce to 0 the ATK of your opponent’s monsters would be to use Reptilianne Medusa’s effect, she unfortunately requires a Tribute in order to be Summoned, but we are already running cards that can support her such as Fires of Doomsday and Mecha Phantom Beast Hamstrat, so that shouldn’t be an issue.
By discarding a card from your hand, Reptilianne Medusa can reduce to 0 the ATK of a monster your opponent controls and also lock it in the Battle Position it’s in; if you have used Fires of Doomsday during the end of your opponent’s turn, you can Tribute one of the Tokens in order to Summon Reptilianne Medusa, reduce to 0 the ATK of an opponent's monster and then Tribute that monster and the second Token for Reptilianne Vaskii.
One thing that should be noted about Reptilianne Medusa is that her effect has no “once per turn” restriction, which means that, as long as you have cards in your hand, you will be able to activate it. Since activation cost for Medusa’s effect is to discard a card, you could add Reptilianne Spawn to your deck.
When it’s sent from the field to the Graveyard, Reptilianne Gardna allows you to add a copy of any “Reptilianne” monster from your Deck to your hand, it has a pretty high DEF for a Level 4 monster and its effect is mandatory, which means that it cannot miss the timing.
Since Amazoness Onslaught is not around anymore, the main thing you will have to worry about when you Set Reptilianne Gardna is Spellbook of Fate, as its effect will trigger even if it’s destroyed by card effect. Regardless of what kind of version of the deck you want to run, it’s safe to say that this card should always be included.
You can add Reptilianne Viper and a couple of Synchro Monsters to your deck, but for this particular version I decided to solely focus on Reptilianne Viper and Reptilianne Medusa.
Reptilianne Viper’s effect allows you to take control of opponent’s monsters and then potentially use them as Synchro Material, so, if that’s what you want to go for, I would suggest running Giganticastle and Flamvell Uruquizas/Gravity Warrior.

Ojama Go! is used to generate Tokens with 0 ATK for Reptilianne Vaskii, it’s just unfortunate that you need to take 1800 Life Points worth of damage before you are able to activate it.

Holy Guard You receive no battle damage during your turn. | Tea Gardner |
Holy Guard has good synergy with Reptilianne Gorgon: it allows you to attack freely with it without having to take any damage. If Reptilianne Naga is released in the future, then this Skill will become the best one to run.
The deck is rather inconsistent, it struggles dealing with any of the current meta decks such as Vampire and Blue-Eyes, but, if Reptilianne Naga is ever released, it might have a good shot at becoming viable.
The deck has no direct way of dealing with backrow and, while cards like Hey, Trunade! and Cosmic Cyclone could definitely be implemented to preemptively get rid of Treacherous Trap Hole and Drowning Mirror Force, they would also further lower the consistency of the deck.
While I wouldn’t suggest using it, I have to admit that Molting Escape works very well in combination with Reptilianne Gorgon.
Once per turn, Molting Escape prevents Reptilianne Gorgon or any other Reptile-Type monster it’s equipped to from being destroyed by battle, allowing you to attack freely into your opponent’s monsters while also reducing their ATK to 0.
In addition to the protection it provides, Molting Escape also increases the ATK of the monster it’s equipped to by 300 every time the first part of the effect is applied, progressively making your monsters stronger and more difficult to deal with.
Another interesting card that was not included in this version of the deck, Reptilianne Poison can reduce to 0 the ATK of an opponent’s monster, but its activation requirements are not always easy to fulfill. You can use Sphere Kuriboh and Enemy Controller to change opponent’s monsters to Defense Position and then either attack them with Reptilianne Gorgon or use this card.
More cards that can reduce to 0 the ATK of opponent’s monsters that were not included because their activation requirements or cost makes them not consistent.
