Updated Information

Tier List [Mar 15]

Mekk-Knight and Salamangreat Code Talker are demoted as a Tier 3 Decklist.
Burning Abyss, Madolche, and Rose Dragon are removed from the Tier List.
Crusadia and Rokket/Borrel are removed from the High-Potential List.

NOTES

The GameA Tier List is primarily based on King of Games decks submitted by users and performance in Tournament.

Tier list

Decks in Tier 1 and 2 are ones that are known to have achieved good success against other decks/players.

Meta decks

Meta decks are decks that are often commonly used by players in PvP. Meta decks will often change depending on newer cards or strategies, so we will keep updating this page often to keep everyone informed of newer decks.

Tier 0

Tier 0 decks are decks that completely dominate a meta and you either play the same deck or a deck that completely counters it (but loses to almost any other deck).

There are currently no Tier 0 decks

Tier 1

These decks are very well rounded. They have ways to deal with almost every deck and have very few weaknesses themselves.

Hey guys, just download the game 1 hour ago then spent 4,4K initial gems on 2 box to make this deck, is my deck any good? also I reseted eternal steam and now I'm actually at half of box

Only in the late season climb, and even then there are likely better options. It's very hard for Shi-En to be worthwhile now when bigger beaters are summoned frequently and your opponent could just respond to you trying to negate with something like Fiendish Chain to permanently clog a space and not have to worry about it.

Very bad vs Thunder dragon and resonator, good vs onomat and maybe vs harpies if you go first with shie en and dual wield. Need more testing vs Gaia but possibly good.
Altogether not a favorable meta at the moment. And the ban list didn't nerfed what has to be nerfed.

I don't understand why onomato is expensive. It need 3 copies of zubabanco. Sholudn't it cost premium?

Yeah. The tag should be premium.
They also put fire king into premium category, as the decklist use 3x garunix and 3x onslaught.

Premium : Using several cards from Structure deck and Selection box.

Expensive : Using a lot of gems, especially because it came from several main box and / or mini box

Budget : Cost fewer gems to build. The opposite of expensive category.

I open with setting a card, summon a monster, turn end.

Yumastral open with summoning Utopia, Malevolent Sin, and Zubababancho. And he also destroyed my Set card while he's on it.

Deck's not only still alive, it's still can-cer.

When i said using side deck tournament for tierlist is not the way and kamigame japanese website and gamea has better tierlist DLM deleted and the comment and blocked my account

We found out about him cheating during 2017 wcs as kaiba boy. He was playing handless balance deck and whenever he was about to lose he would dc his opponents granting him free win. Also, bullywii exposed his hacking discord with him there.

He was the most famous cheater found by konami, konami even posted his user ID and all saying hey this mf cheated. But even so konami let him go to worlds for some reason (some speculate that it was for "diversity" issues). From that point onwards cheat tools became a normal thing and konami and their kc cups lost all credibility. No need to say they never do a thing about cheat tools

In each anime, each character play a completely different deck with a small amount of exceptions. They play their deck and never change them but cope cat are little. Because supposedly there are billions of card existing in their universe not some thousands.

Not to mention in the anime, the so-called Pro / High caliber duelist is regarded as such but they are using cards like Great Moth as their ace. (Reference Arc V)

Whereas some no-name duelist have a decent stack of cards at their disposal just because their are the protagonist.
