How to Use

Survival's End

Survivals End
Survivals End
Normal Trap
Tyranno Hassleberry Unlock Event [SR]
Tyranno Hassleberry [SR]
Destroy as many Normal Monsters on the field as possible, and if you do, Special Summon Level 4 or lower Dinosaur-Type monsters from your Deck, up to the number destroyed, but destroy them during the End Phase. You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 Dinosaur-Type monster you control and 1 card your opponent controls; destroy them.

One of the key cards of this deck. The introduction of the Xyz mechanic makes Survival's End a lot more versatile. Specifically in it's swarm effect which you can use to put Xyz materials onboard.

The first effect of Survival's End lets you destroy all Normal monsters on the field which is particularly effective against decks with lots of Normal monsters like Blue-Eyes. However to make Survival's End effective even against decks that use no Normal monsters, you will need to destroy your own Normal monsters. This is where Tokens and the Paleozoic Traps become helpful. They are treated as Normal monsters on the field so you can destroy them with Survival's End to special summon Dinosaurs from your deck.

The second effect allows you to destroy a Dinosaur monster you control along with any card on your opponent's field. This is good disruption effect and gives Survival's End additional utility while in the graveyard.

Miscellaneousaurus

Miscellaneousaurus
Miscellaneousaurus
FIRE Dinosaur ★4
ATK 1800 / DEF 1000
Truth Universe [UR]
During either player's Main Phase: You can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard; during this Main Phase, Dinosaur-Type monsters you control are unaffected by your opponent's activated effects. You can banish any number of Dinosaur-Type monsters from your Graveyard, including this card; Special Summon 1 Dinosaur-Type monster from your Deck with a Level equal to the total number of monsters banished to activate this effect, but destroy it during the End Phase. You can only use this effect of "Miscellaneousaurus" once per turn.

Aside from Survival's End, Miscellaneousaurus is another card that distinguishes this deck from other common beater decks. Keep it in your hand for the powerful first effect, essentially making your Dinosaurs immune to enemy effects for the entire Main Phase. Do this before you summon anything to protect from Floodgate Trap Hole.

The graveyard effect can let you summon one of your beaters if you have 4 Dinos in the graveyard. If not, you can opt to summon Babycerasaurus instead and then destroy it with Survival's End. Ideally you should use Giant Rex as banishing cost so it revives itself.

Special Summon

Giant Rex
Giant Rex
EARTH Dinosaur ★4
ATK 2000 / DEF 1200
Tyranno Hassleberry [UR]
Tyranno Hassleberry Roaming Event [UR]
Tyranno Hassleberry Unlock Event [UR]
Cannot attack directly. If this card is banished: You can Special Summon this card, and if you do, this card gains 200 ATK for each of your banished Dinosaur monsters. You can only use this effect of "Giant Rex" once per turn.

Inherently a good beater, plus an ability to become even stronger when revived. You should banish Giant Rex as cost when using Miscallaneousaurus' graveyard effect. Additionally, the self recursion effect makes Giant Rex great as Xyz material.

Bouncing Tech

Hyper Hammerhead
Hyper Hammerhead
EARTH Dinosaur ★4
ATK 1500 / DEF 1200
Valhalla Calling [SR]
At the end of the Damage Step, if an opponent's monster that battled this card is not destroyed: Return that opponent's monster to the hand.

Used as a beater, even though its stats are below average. However, it's effect makes it worth running for quick removal. This lets you get rid of walls such as Invoked Cocytus and Wind-Up Zenmaines without spending resources. You can also just crash Hammerhead into a boss monster to get rid of it, but taking a ton of damage in exchange.

Babycerasaurus

Babycerasaurus
Babycerasaurus
EARTH Dinosaur ★2
ATK / DEF
Chaotic Compliance [R]
When this card is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard: Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Dinosaur-Type monster from your Deck.

Babycerasaurus is the best target for the destruction effect of Survival's End because he allows you to search a monster from your deck upon effect destruction.
You can special summon Babycerasaurus with the first effect of Survival's End. And then destroy the Babyceracaurus you summoned, along with your opponent's card, with the second effect of Survival's End to trigger Babycerasaurus' search effect.

Lightsworn Engine

This deck has a ton of effects that activate from the graveyard making the Lightsworn Engine a good fit for setup.

Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn
Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 1700 / DEF 1000
Judgement Force [SR]
During your Main Phase: You can send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard, then if any "Lightsworn" monsters were sent to the Graveyard by this effect, this card gains 200 ATK until the end of your opponent's turn. You can only use this effect of "Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn" once per turn. Once per turn, during your End Phase: Send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard.

Unlike other Lightsworn monsters, Raiden lets you mill during the Main Phase so you can immediately use your setup. Additionally, Raiden is a Tuner supplementing the Synchro Version of this Deck.

Charge of the Light Brigade
Charge of the Light Brigade
Normal Spell
Judgement Force [SR]
Send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard; add 1 Level 4 or lower "Lightsworn" monster from your Deck to your hand.

Instant graveyard setup and searches a Lightsworn monster. Early game it's best to search Raiden for further setup. If you have Raiden in the graveyard, you can opt to search Lumina and summon her to make a level-7 Synchro.

Block Dragon

Block Dragon
Block Dragon
EARTH Rock ★8
ATK 2500 / DEF 3000
Guardians of Rock [SR]
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand or Graveyard) by banishing 3 EARTH monsters from your hand and/or Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Rock-Type monsters you control cannot be destroyed, except by battle. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can add up to 3 Rock-Type monsters from your Deck to your hand, whose total Levels equal 8. You can only use this effect of "Block Dragon" once per turn.

With the graveyard setup from the Lightsworn engine, you can tech in a single copy of Block Dragon for instant field presence. Block Dragon should ideally banish Giant Rex, triggering the inherent revival effect and swarming your field in one move. The multiple banishing also helps powerup Tyranno Infinity.

Sadly you won't be able to make use of the search effect since majority of your monsters are Dinosaurs.

Paleozoic

Paleozoic Traps can special summon themselves as Normal monsters when you activate a Trap. This lets you summon them when Survival's End is activated. Since their summoning occurs first, they will be destroyed by the effect of Survival's End letting you summon more Dinosaur monsters from your deck.

Paleozoic Canadia
Paleozoic Canadia
Normal Trap
Valiant Souls [UR]
Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; change it to face-down Defense Position. Once per Chain, when a Trap Card is activated while this card is in your Graveyard: Special Summon this card as a Normal Monster (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 2/ATK 1200/DEF 0). (This card is NOT treated as a Trap Card.) If Summoned this way, this card is unaffected by monster effects, also banish it when it leaves the field.

Additionally, Paleozoics also have their own good effects when used as Trap cards on the field. Paleozoic Canadia is good for defense and stopping your opponent's monster effects by flipping them face-down.

Paleozoic Marrella
Paleozoic Marrella
Normal Trap
Valiant Souls [N]
Send 1 Trap Card from your Deck to the Graveyard.

Paleozoic Marrella can mill any Trap from your deck. Mill out a Paleozoic monster to setup before you activate Survival's End. Or you can mill Survival's End to immediately get access to it's second effect.

When Paleozoics are special summoned by their own effects, they are banished when they leave the field. Survival's End also banishes itself from your graveyard when you use its second effect.
Another thing to take note about Paleozoics are that they are immune to monster effects while treated as monsters.

Beaters

Megalosmasher X
Megalosmasher X
WATER Dinosaur ★4
ATK 2000 / DEF 0
Burning Nova [SR]
Selection Box Vol. 02 [SR]
With its sound-baffling armor and gargantuan jaws, this primeval predator's phosphorescence was the only possible pardon for its primitive prey.

These are the monsters you will use to deal damage while your other cards are for control. They are simple to use with high attack stats and can be special summoned from your deck by Survival's End. You can also search them out with Fossil Dig.

When pushing for damage, you can destroy Megalosmasher X and Sabersaurus with Survival's End to special summon more beaters from your deck. You can do this even during the battle phase.

Tyranno Infinity

Tyranno Infinity
Tyranno Infinity
EARTH Dinosaur ★4
ATK ? / DEF 0
Ranked Rewards [R]
The original ATK of this card is the number of your banished Dinosaur-Type monsters x 1000.

Between Miscellaneousaurus, Carboneddon, and Block Dragon, this deck has a good amount of self banishing to turn Tyranno Infinity into an extremely powerful beater you can casually Normal Summon.

Synchro Extra Deck

Most of your Synchro monsters are generic level-7s and 8s to be made with Raiden.

Scrap Dragon
Scrap Dragon
EARTH Dragon ★8
ATK 2800 / DEF 2000
Valhalla Calling [UR]
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn: You can target 1 card you control and 1 card your opponent controls; destroy them. When this card is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to the Graveyard: Target 1 non-Synchro "Scrap" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target.

Scrap Dragon has decent stats and provides 1-for-1 removal. The 1-for-1 removal can be extra favorable to you if you destroy Babycerasaurus.

Black Rose Dragon
Black Rose Dragon
FIRE Dragon ★7
ATK 2400 / DEF 1800
Blazing Rose [UR]
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can destroy all cards on the field. Once per turn: You can banish 1 Plant-Type monster from your Graveyard, then target 1 Defense Position monster your opponent controls; change that target to face-up Attack Position, and if you do, its ATK becomes 0 until the end of this turn.

Summon Black Rose Dragon to get rid of your opponent's entire board setup. Lumina reviving Raiden is a quick way to make level-7 Synchros, ideal for how you will use Black Rose Dragon.

Coral Dragon
Coral Dragon
WATER Dragon ★6
ATK 2400 / DEF 500
Chronicle of Glory [UR]
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn: You can discard 1 card, then target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy it. If this Synchro Summoned card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can draw 1 card. You can only use this effect of "Coral Dragon" once per turn.

Make Coral Dragon with Raiden plus Babycerasaurus. Coral Dragon is a good generic Synchro monster to make because of its decent stats and simple removal effect. Additionally, the draw effect when Coral Dragon is sent to the graveyard lets you replenish some resources.

Assault Blackwing - Onimaru the Divine Thunder
Assault Blackwing - Onimaru the Divine Thunder
DARK Winged Beast ★12
ATK 3000 / DEF 2000
Aerial Assault [R]
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
If this card is Synchro Summoned using a "Blackwing" monster as Material, it is treated as a Tuner while face-up on the field. Cannot be destroyed by card effects. You can target 1 "Blackwing" monster in your Graveyard; this card's Level becomes the same as that monster's. You can only use this effect of "Assault Blackwing - Onimaru the Divine Thunder" once per Duel. If this card that was Synchro Summoned using only Synchro Monsters attacks, this card gains 3000 ATK during the Damage Step only.

Onimaru is summoned by using Block Dragon and Raiden as material. In this case Onimaru does not get its 3000 ATK buff, but its still useful as a 3000 ATK beater immune to destruction effects.

Samurai Destroyer
Samurai Destroyer
EARTH Machine ★7
ATK 2600 / DEF 1400
Dark Dimension [R]
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
If this card battles an opponent's monster, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step, also that opponent's monster has its effects negated during the Battle Phase only. If this face-up card in its owner's control leaves the field because of an opponent's card effect: You can target 1 Machine monster in your GY; Special Summon it.

Decent stats and an effect preventing enemies from responding during battle makes Samurai Destroyer a great beater. It also negates the effects of monsters it battles, removing inherent buffs and stops floating.

Xyz Extra Deck

Number C39: Utopia Ray
Number C39: Utopia Ray
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Infinite Ray [UR]
3 Level 4 LIGHT monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Number 39: Utopia" you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; it gains 500 ATK and 1 monster your opponent controls loses 1000 ATK, until the End Phase. You must have 1000 Life Points or less to activate and to resolve this effect.

Since you can only use Utopia Ray's effect when down to your last 1000 LP, he is best used to clutch the game. The ATK manipulation can help you get rid of a powerful enemy monster and deal massive damage. Keep in mind this effect can be activated multiple times per turn as long as you have the materials.

Number 39: Utopia
Number 39: Utopia
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Shining Hope [UR]
2 Level 4 monsters
When any player's monster declares an attack: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the attack. When this card is targeted for an attack, while it has no Xyz Materials: Destroy this card.

Utopia is the strongest Rank-4 beater that requires only 2 materials. It also comes with a battle protection effect which can be helpful when on the defensive. Despite this, you'll usually want to reserve Utopia for summoning Utopia Ray.

Abyss Dweller
Abyss Dweller
WATER Sea Serpent ★4
ATK 1700 / DEF 1400
Photons of Galaxy [UR]
2 Level 4 monsters
While this card has an Xyz Material attached that was originally WATER, all WATER monsters you control gain 500 ATK. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; any card effects that activate in your opponent's Graveyard cannot be activated this turn.

Abyss Dweller is an anti-Graveyard interaction tech, intended to hinder Decks that activate a ton of effects from the graveyard such as Noble Knights. This only affects the opponent's graveyard so you're still free to use your effects like Miscellaneousaurus and Canadia.

It's best to activate this at the start of the opponent's turn, so make sure to toggle Chain to "ON" and activate Abyss Dweller's effect during the opponent's Draw Phase.

Number 70: Malevolent Sin
Number 70: Malevolent Sin
DARK Insect ★4
ATK 2400 / DEF 1200
Photons of Galaxy [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it until your opponent's next Standby Phase. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked: You can make this card gain 300 ATK, and if you do, increase its Rank by 3.

Malevolent Sin is an anti-Xyz tech. Summon Malevolent Sin and use its effect to temporarily banish an enemy Xyz monster. The Xyz monster will return with no materials attached to it.

Kachi Kochi Dragon
Kachi Kochi Dragon
EARTH Dragon ★4
ATK 2100 / DEF 1300
Tag Duel Tournament [Nov 2020] [UR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn, when this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; it can attack once again in a row.

Kachi Kochi Dragon is used for its double attack effect, but the relatively low ATK makes him a bit situational. A scenario where this would be useful is when Kachi Kochi attacks a monster put face-down by Canadia, then you use its second attack to hit directly.

Diamond Dire Wolf
Diamond Dire Wolf
EARTH Beast ★4
ATK 2000 / DEF 1200
Voltage of the Metal [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster you control and 1 other card on the field; destroy them.

Diamond Dire Wolf gets rid of itself along with any enemy card. Use this as on-demand removal against a problematic card, or secure your attacks by getting rid of enemy backrow.

Gagaga Samurai
Gagaga Samurai
EARTH Warrior ★4
ATK 1900 / DEF 1600
Shining Hope [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 "Gagaga" monster you control; it can make a second attack during each Battle Phase this turn. When another monster you control is targeted for an attack while this card is in Attack Position: You can change this card to Defense Position, and if you do, change the attack target to this card and perform damage calculation.

Samurai is used to push damage after you mostly cleared the field. It's relatively low ATK stat means it won't be destroying anything by battle. But its double attack effect allow it to inflict massive damage when attacking directly.

You can also give Cowboy the double attack effect to maximize Cowboy's attack position effect.

Other Cards Option

Carboneddon & Guardragon Justicia

Carboneddon is used because of his second effect, allowing you to Special Summon a Normal Dragon from the deck on-demand. With this you can Special Summon Justicia for a quick Synchro Summon.

Carboneddon
Carboneddon
EARTH Dinosaur ★3
ATK 800 / DEF 600
Bastion Misawa LVl 45 [SR]
Tour Guides Mission Bingo Event [SR]
If this card battles a FIRE monster, during damage calculation: This card gains 1000 ATK, during damage calculation only. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; Special Summon, from your hand or Deck, 1 Level 7 or lower Dragon-Type Normal Monster in face-up Defense Position. You can only use this effect of "Carboneddon" once per turn.
Guardragon Justicia
Guardragon Justicia
WATER Dragon ★2
ATK 0 / DEF 2100
Blazing Rose [N]
The fate of the World depends on the Guardragons, born from the World Legacy.

Try invoked Dino's with survival end, dice it and necro fusion.
Or make a synchro fusion variant and the level 2 Jurassic tuner(fire type) to make level 6 synchros like brrionac and flamvell. Your opponent would probably resource on outing them then go into your invoked fusions for game

This deck is a lot of fun. It should become a much more competitive deck if we get dinosaur support. Of course it depends on what we get.

On Misc's explanation:
"Do this before you summon anything to protect from Floodgate Trap Hole."
If you're confident the opponent has no other chainable Trap or there's only one set card you can discard Misc in response to Floodgate's activation to waste their Trap, rather than doing it in advance

I remember that time I hit survival end with nobleman of extermination it was a 1 card win lol

in the past it didn't have this many, also survival's end doesn't count because you don't get it from packs, canadia is the only ur you used to need from packs and you didn't need 3 to make a kog worthy deck when this deck was popular, it was the best f2p deck

Now if you have 5 iQ you won't get too far with this deck. It requires some good decision making and chaining skills.
