Paleozoic Marrella can discard any of these cards into your Graveyard, and setup to Special Summon your “Paleozoic” monster from your Graveyard.
Since Paleozoic monsters are WATER attribute and below Level 3, you can use Wetlands to greatly increase their ATK power. Amulet of Ambition also further boosts their attacking power against higher level monsters.
Since Paleozoic monsters are of WATER attribute, they can contribute to the Summoning of Citadel Whale, while at the same time they can be banished using Sea Stealth Attack’s effects as well.
