The key card of this deck. The first effect of Survival's End lets you destroy all Normal monsters on the field which is particularly effective against decks with lots of Normal monsters like Blue-Eyes.
However to make Survival's End effective even against decks that use no Normal monsters, you will need to destroy your own Normal monsters. This is where Tokens and the Paleozoic Traps become helpful. They are treated as Normal monsters on the field so you can destroy them with Survival's End to special summon Dinosaurs from your deck.
The second effect allows you to destroy a Dinosaur monster you control along with any card on your opponent's field. This is good disruption effect and gives Survival's End additional utility while in the graveyard.
Babycerasaurus is the best target for the destruction effect of Survival's End because he allows you to search a monster from your deck upon effect destruction.
You can special summon Babycerasaurus with the first effect of Survival's End. And then destroy the Babyceracaurus you summoned, along with your opponent's card, with the second effect of Survival's End to trigger Babycerasaurus' search effect.
Mecha Phantom Beast Tetherwolf is one of the best options to generating Tokens for this deck. Among the Mecha Phantom Beast monsters Tetherwolf has one of the most convenient Token generating effects, only needing to be Normal summoned.
He also acts as a beater in this deck which focuses on control and beatdown. And can tribute the Token he generated to give himself an attack boost if in case Survival's End is not yet available.
Paleozoic Traps can special summon themselves as Normal monsters when you activate a Trap. This lets you summon them when Survival's End is activated. Since their summoning occurs first, they will be destroyed by the effect of Survival's End letting you summon more Dinosaur monsters from your deck.
Additionally, Paleozoics also have their own good effects when used as Trap cards on the field. Paleozoic Canadia is good for defense and stopping your opponent's monster effects by flipping them face-down.
Paleozoic Marrella can mill any Trap from your deck. Mill out a Paleozoic monster to setup before you activate Survival's End. Or you can mill Survival's End to immediately get access to it's second effect.
When Paleozoics are special summoned by their own effects, they are banished when they leave the field. Survival's End also banishes itself from your graveyard when you use its second effect. Use Paleozoic Leanchoilia to return them to the graveyard.
Another thing to take note about Paleozoics are that they are immune to monster effects while treated as monsters.
These are the monsters you will use to deal damage while your other cards are for control. They are simple to use with high attack stats and can be special summoned from your deck by Survival's End. You can also search them out with Fossil Dig.
When pushing for damage, you can destroy Megalosmasher X with Survival's End to special summon more beaters from your deck. You can do this even during the battle phase.
Evilswarm Salamandra lets you banish up to 2 monsters from your graveyard to boost his attack by 300 for each monster banished. But you can only do this during your Main phase and it only lasts until your opponent's End phase.
A reason why you might want to Synchro summon is because the monsters special summoned by Survival's End are destroyed during the End phase. So to make full use of them you might want to use them as Synchro materials. Junk Warrior is useful in this deck for making Synchro monsters. Revive Babycerasaurus with Junk Synchron's effect to make a level-5 Synchro monster like Armades the Keeper of Boundaries. Armades is able to attack safely even when your opponent has set backrow and has decent stats. Alternatively you can also use the Paleozoics which are treated as level-2 monsters when revived by their own effects.
You can use Junk Synchron with a level-4 monster or 2 level-2 monsters to make a level-7 Synchro monster like Junk Destroyer and Junk Berserker both with good effects that help you control the board.
You can use Junk Synchron with a level-2 and a level-4 monster to make a level-9 Synchro monster. Mist Wurm has a good control effect, while Giganticastle is huge beater.
