Who should pull this pack

This pack contains a lot of Spellcaster support in the form of the Spellbook cards, therefore it is a good pack for dedicated Spellcaster players. The Gusto Archetype are able to recycle their graveyard back to deck and easily special summon their monsters, but are generally lacking in power.
There are also some individual cards in this pack that could be useful for previously existing decks. Tribute Burial could greatly help any deck that struggles to tribute summon a high-leveled monster and make their deck work. Treacherous Trap Hole is a good card for decks with a low to none Trap card count being able to destroy 2 cards for the price of 1. Mage Power could potentially be a 1500 attack boost.

Thoughts on spellbook exodia?
3x Spellbook of secret
3xSpellbook master
3xSpellbook magician
3x Dark world dealings
3x Wonder wand
3xImpenetratable attack (for stall)
2x Legion fiend jester
Will it be viable?

It could work, if you don't get OTKed first, that is. I would take out 1~2 Master and put in another Legion/Blue Dragon Summer or two instead. Master is harder to play than it looks-- you need to be controlling a spellcaster AND have a spare spellbook in hand in order for it to work.

Decks with Gusto cards?

Here is my Gusto deck, and no, it's not very good. You might want to get rid of Windrose and specialize more in Reeze or Space Time Police. (Maybe adding more E-con if you're going all-in with monster stealing. Hazy Flame would shred you completely though.)

Spellbook is not meta, it is 🔥!
Who the heck will wait their 3 min turn?

In the beginning there was CA with their 3 min OTK combo then a new 🔥ous Archetype with a 3 min OTK combo appeared named Sylvans and now the unholy trinity of 3 min waiting to get OTKed has been finally shït out of Konamis a$$hole Spellbooks yeah Duel Links is all about Speedduels yeah right...

Know that if a Spellbook player doesn't finish whatever they're doing under 1 minute... then they are probably not used to their deck yet. (Or you did something to upset their strategy.) Nobody would intentional cut too close to the 3 minutes mark... unless they intend to win by boring their opponent into surrendering. I'd just read something meanwhile if I were you.

@Aquablast that was a nice 3 min paragraph OTK
new player f2p ;-;
It worth for new players???

It would really depend. Gusto is kinda weak without some of its supports not yet added. Spellbook is fine. A good loop to try for is to play Prophecy of strength then spellbook of secrets or power. You bounce the card back into your deck to permanently gain 500 attack to any spellcaster yohr choice and then use which ever monster had power played on it to run something over.
<< Anonymous

Power then searches out another card, secrets again for the loop. Then you just keep a perpetually self strengthening card on the field.

Dont it going to end like gravekepper deck? like spellbook deck being meta for 1-2 motnhs and after that falling in the rank?

Literally just had a 20 min duel due to my opponent activating and re-activating all of those damn spell book cards. 20 mins for that crap? nah. safe to say I shut that dude down.
Anonymous
These decks are getting so stale.. Every time a new box comes out the main deck involves mindlessly bashing your face against the screen hitting yes for effects and taking 5 minutes to finish a turn. I'm all for long duels but i just finished a duel that took almost 15 minutes and lasted only 7 turns... That is not enjoyable.

Spellbook is difficult to play if not set up properly. It's not brainless like you think it is
Good box
The SRs are good. Especially the 2800 Spellcaster.

Mage Power x 3 is OP
<< Anonymous(Good box)
Aquablast Reply
Mage Power won't do you any good if your opponent just went and destroy your monster though... Or worse, steal your monster with Enemy Controller or something.
Zaekier
I think Horus Of The Black Flame lv 8 is better than white night dragon, because while it can't negate traps, you have the option to negate ANY spell card activated, whether it is your own, or your opponents, and without any costs
<< Anonymous(Zaekier)
Aquablast Reply
I think Horus' effect is better too... but don't forget that WND is much, MUCH easier to summon than Horus Lv8, because WND can actually be special summoned freely. I don't think WND is the best card ever, but it has its uses.
<< Anonymous(Aquablast)
Zaekier Reply
That is true, only ways to get Horus lv8 out is with the lv spell cards or horus lv6. wish we could freely summon horus lv8 like we could with the lv6 version
<< Anonymous(Zaekier)
Aquablast Reply
Well, if Horus Lv8 can be freely summoned... then it might just be one of the best cards ever lol.

Can someone explain to me the main strategy of spellbooks and other good cards to help the deck?I have 3 blue boy and 2 secrets and I really want to learn the deck
<< Anonymous(Plaguerot)

Crescent library is a good card to draw first thing if you do not have secrets in your hand and a good card to pitch for fool. Fool needs 5 with different names. Do not run Heliosphere it will just clog your deck.

The strategy, as Aquablast said, is to rapidly activate Spellbook cards to dump them in the grave. But I'd like to make a quick correction. While Reaper, Destroyer, and Wheel may look appealing for their fancy effects, you really don't want to focus on them too much. Instead, your key card will be Fate, as it gives you tremendous control over the field.

Emrys777 Reply
Example Turn 1 (assuming you go first):
Summon Magician, search Secrets. Secrets into Master. Master into Secrets into Fate. Set Fate. If possible, activate another spell. If not, during your opponent's turn you can set their monsters face down or your own Magician face down (for another search) using Fate.

Emrys777 Reply
If you go second, that's even better. Ideal turn looks like:
Summon Magician, search Secrets. Secrets into either Master, Fate, or Power (whichever you don't have). Power on Magician. Master on Power on Magician again. Set Fate. Attack for double search if successful. If failed, you still have Fate and presumably another 2 cards in hand.
Bakura
I got the White Night Dragon in my first pack .
Now I undestand that fate loves me .

Been testing spellbooks guys. I think its the only deck in the meta which you want above 20 card in the deck to be honest it just search the whole deck so quickly. But a little reminder the deck is quite hard to master a lot of room for missplays. So if you just not the thinker type don't even bother building it. If you enjoy a more strategic deck its the deck for you.
Smh
Spellbook players recycle even more than CA players.. annoying asf.
<< Anonymous(Smh)
Aquablast Reply
But they can't force you to send your only monster to the grave then OTK you, can they?
<< Anonymous(Aquablast)
Smh Reply
Depending on their spellbooks in the GY. With 3 or more they can banish one monster from your side of the field. Then sweep in a 2800 attacker. After that they can still special summon. There is potential to OTK. Yet they need to have the pieces. But with all the 'recycling' they can thin and get those easily.
A hint, don't brick to much :p
<< Anonymous(Smh)
Aquablast Reply
Well, I'd be impressed if a spellbook player could do that on turn 2! As far as CA goes, getting Dakini out on turn 2 is quite common, and most of the time they can get out a second ritual monster for an OTK right there. Spellbook may have OTK potential... but actually realizing it is far harder than using CA.
