This page notes details of Blizzard Princess (WATER/Spellcaster/Effect Monster) : decks, tips, effect and rulings. Learn and enjoy playing Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links!
You can Tribute Summon this card in face-up Attack Position by Tributing 1 Spellcaster-Type monster. After this card was Normal Summoned, your opponent cannot activate Spell/Trap Cards for the rest of that turn.
Can be tribute summoned using only 1 spellcaster monster.
Your opponent can’t use spells and traps the turn it’s normal summoned successfully.
Great ATK and DEF stats.
Cons
Prevents your opponent from activating spells/traps, but still vulnerable to monster effects, making it dangerous to attack set monsters like Sylvan Komushroomo, or Man-Eater Bug.
Second effect only lasts until the end of the turn.
Tips
Tribute Summoning
You can take advantage of her first effect to special summon quickly by special summoning a spellcaster monster like The Tricky, or Legion of the Fiend Jester so you can tribute summon right away. Arrivalrivals is also a good optional way to do this, especially since you can attack first before tribute summoning for another attack, but you won't really be making good use out of her second effect. Tribute Burial can an effective way to tribute summon, but you can’t do it early in the duel. Alternatively, you can also use Mausoleum of the Emperor to just normal summon since her effect will still work.
Herald of Creation helps with getting Blizzard Princess back from the grave, useful especially if you only have 1 or 2 copies of her. Blue Dragon Summoner so you can keep your card advantage by drawing a normal Spellcaster monster when it’s used as tribute fodder. Peten the Dark Clown to make sure you have something to be used as tribute fodder for your turn, unless your opponent already has 3 monsters. Spell Wall for a safer tribute summon and prevents your opponent from being able to respond. Spellbook of Life is good to revive your monsters in your grave, but can be brick sometimes. Magician’s Circle special summons a Spellcaster from your deck to provide a tribute fodder, but it can be bad if your opponent is also using a Spellcaster deck.
Prevents activation of your opponent's Spell Cards / Prevents activation of your opponent's Trap Cards

This card is a very nice tech in Fur Hire deck. You can tribute one Wiz to summon this card, or if you have 3 monsters but no Wiz you can tribute 2 monsters and let one Fur Hire to special summon another Fur Hire from your hand. For the rest of the turn after you summon this you're free from opponent's set down backrow, also with Tie That Binds your Blizzard Princess can get over opponent's Wiz defense
Yup, that's also one way to deal with Mirror-Matches when you're not using Beatdown.
If you do use just Wiz for the tribute, you can get her back with Mayhem Fur Hire if you aren't able to end the duel on that turn.

So Komoney expect us new players into buying 3 copies of legion the fiend jester from a useless power creeped super old box in order to play this card competitively, otherwise good luck trying to summon it when mask change f.vckers destroy you in one turn. This is how bad this game is right now.
Konami expects you to appreciate how cool it is as a tech card. Peten the Dark Clown is rare from the same minibox that gives WoD, Chalice, Draining Shield.
Legion the Fient Jester should have been in those Selection Boxes

This card is genuinely really good. With decent set-up with Spellbook of Power and Master, plus any monster atk boost, I can get a beefy monster for one turn tha rivals some fusion monsters in atk.
Next gen sea stealth anyone?? Is SUPER fun. The goal is to have an active SSA (and A Legendary Ocean), 1 Blizzard Princess, and 1 Gemini Summoner on your side of field. Gemini Summoner can take 2 hits, then can be banished if going for a third. Opp must have a monster effect or Att higher than 3000 to then get past Blizzard Princess.
Gemini Summoner basically eats 2 attacks and their 3rd monster must beat out Ice Princess to get anywhere
If this is really Alexis' new level-up reward, could it be possible that they are making some kind of reference to how Fubuki Tenjoin (Atticus) called himself the Blizzard Prince in the anime?
The DM manga isn't canon to the anime either. It's heavily based on the manga, but there's a few major differences. (Pegasus didn't die for example, and Death-T never happened.)
Incidentally, they often do give characters manga cards in Duel Links, even if they mainly focus on the anime. Lancer Lindwurm, Ishzark, Van'Dalgyon, Dark Red Enchanter and Byser Shock are all from the manga for instance.
Can you summon this then activate ties of the brethering to special summon Ice Night Dragon along with Horus since all of them are lv8 effect monsters? Their effects synergize well.
Actually there was a card in the anime during the dogma arc that could summon all 3 Egyptian Gods at once. Don't remember its name but it did definitely existed.

This is gonna be an interesting card for Spellcaster decks.
