Who should pull this pack

This pack contains a lot of Spellcaster support in the form of the Spellbook cards, therefore it is a good pack for dedicated Spellcaster players. The Gusto Archetype are able to recycle their graveyard back to deck and easily special summon their monsters, but are generally lacking in power.
There are also some individual cards in this pack that could be useful for previously existing decks. Tribute Burial could greatly help any deck that struggles to tribute summon a high-leveled monster and make their deck work. Treacherous Trap Hole is a good card for decks with a low to none Trap card count being able to destroy 2 cards for the price of 1. Mage Power could potentially be a 1500 attack boost.

It would be a dead draw in archfiends unless you get it in your starting hand. How else would you play it when you start dumping your other traps? Needle bug nest..etc

Did you read the card? It says "Target 2 monsters..." That means it targets.

Why every boxes come with all new archtypes? They don't realease support for the older ones

No, we need more new archetypes. They´re exciting

...while on the other hand powercreeping older decks. Konami shoud change the way they release box, dont just giving us new archetype every month but also upgrade older decks by releasing more support. That way people still able to enjoy their favorite archetype/deck without being afraid investing on older boxes *looking concernedly at GB and SixSam*

Ehm in the last box we have support for Amazoness which are an old archtype and in this set technically there is support for spellcaster deck. So your claim is not necessarily true. They support both old and new archtype just that there is a limited amount they can release at a time so quit complaining.

No. Sylvan deck would be a much better investment if you haven't already (unless you just don't like them). I would stay away from this one. Spellbooks may end up powerful, but they'll also be expensive with 3x Magician and Secrets for consistency (I'd also suggest waiting for others to test them beforehand).

No more sylvan, it has already taken the 90% of the last KC tournament, is a zero skill deck, and is so boring to play against.

Can someone explain to me the main strategy of spellbooks and other good cards to help the deck?I have 3 blue boy and 2 secrets and I really want to learn the deck
<< Anonymous(Plaguerot)

Crescent library is a good card to draw first thing if you do not have secrets in your hand and a good card to pitch for fool. Fool needs 5 with different names. Do not run Heliosphere it will just clog your deck.

The strategy, as Aquablast said, is to rapidly activate Spellbook cards to dump them in the grave. But I'd like to make a quick correction. While Reaper, Destroyer, and Wheel may look appealing for their fancy effects, you really don't want to focus on them too much. Instead, your key card will be Fate, as it gives you tremendous control over the field.
<< Anonymous(Emrys777)
Emrys777 Reply
Example Turn 1 (assuming you go first):
Summon Magician, search Secrets. Secrets into Master. Master into Secrets into Fate. Set Fate. If possible, activate another spell. If not, during your opponent's turn you can set their monsters face down or your own Magician face down (for another search) using Fate.
<< Anonymous(Emrys777)
Emrys777 Reply
If you go second, that's even better. Ideal turn looks like:
Summon Magician, search Secrets. Secrets into either Master, Fate, or Power (whichever you don't have). Power on Magician. Master on Power on Magician again. Set Fate. Attack for double search if successful. If failed, you still have Fate and presumably another 2 cards in hand.

in sylvans you only need to activate it only one time and than you can otk your opponent and in ssa it is the same you only have ssa as a trap in your deck and you will search it with the whale out

Highly doubtful but they will face some competition when the box come out for sure. Spellbook is a strong candidate for that.

Can anyone tell me where the heck the expression "roll a box" or "roll a pack" comes from? cos I've never heard of this outside of gamea website.
I know what they're trying to say: 'roll' as in: "attempt to try for" but where the heck does that expression even come from? it's not a gaming term I've heard of.

"Roll" is an extremely common term in the community of virtually ANY mobile game that has a luck-based feature that allows you to get something based on rarity.
<< Anonymous(Anonymous.)
Master_Sim Reply
Roll,as in Roll the dice, it's an expression in any luck based mechanic such as drawing cards from packs in the shop, where you get random rewards based on RNG. Good luck, don't trigger the desire sensor and pray to RNGesus!!!
<< Anonymous(Anonymous.)
C S Reply
It has its origins from pen and paper RPG where everything was calculated from rolling dice. The term has been adopted in modern RPG games eg. In WoW you roll for loot. You wouldn't use it in TCG but for mobile gatcha type games it is commonly used as you are essentially rolling a random number generator.

According to the shard of greed guy they're broken because their summon can't be negated; never mind the fact they need 3 tributes and are a dead draw 85% of the time.

Aquablast, aren't you a bit dumb? I didn't tell in my post that it was a single match, 30 minute pvp could mean a cumulative experience. Also, why would I exaggerate on meager things when Sylvans as a big joke is already a thing? Lastly, even if I did an intentional grammatical error, wouldn't one normally ascribe my post as a sarcasm? Pls don't reply if you will just be a noob.

I am pretty much new to this game, this means I dont have the advanced insight which cards work with others. I have saved up roughly 8k gems, is it worth to buy thid box?? I use a blue eyes dragon deck, also have a naturia deck. Dunno, how good that is?
Can somebody please help?
<< Anonymous(Smirkyyy)
Aquablast Reply
To make a Sylvan deck, you need: Sylvan Komushroomo, Sylvan Marshalleaf, Rose Lover, and World Carrotweight Champion. You will then want 2~4 of Sylvan Guardioak and Sylvan Hermitree in any combination. Finally Magical Merchant can help, but is sometimes considered optional. You should go here to study the deck: http://duellinks.gamea.co/c/ehf6w7n5
<< Anonymous(Smirkyyy)

Don't play Sylvan, people will call you faggot. I suggest getting Masked Hero.
<< Anonymous
Aquablast Reply
But can you get enough cards for Masked Hero with only 8k gems? With some luck, I think it is possible to pull 2~3 Komushroomo with 8k gems. Then again, maybe 1~2 Mask Change plus 1 Anki is enough. Masked Hero Anki is pretty strong too, so go for that if you want. Honestly you probably don't need to worry about stuff like this until you reach Platinum and find yourself unable to advance.

If you are new I wouldn't suggest this box. The main featured archtype the spellbook is very complicated and you have to very familiar with it to be able to play it well and for new player I think its gonna take time. The other archtype is also fairly good you need other generic support from other box meaning it will take a lot more than 8k gems I think Sylvan is good.
