Once per turn: You can discard 1 WATER monster to the Graveyard to target 1 card on the field; return it to the hand.

• Returns any card on the Field back to their owner’s hand by discarding a WATER monster as a cost.
• Good ATK stats.

• Weak DEF stats susceptible to position switching plays
• Must discard only WATER monsters as the cost to activate effect.

• This is a very powerful and versatile monster that can return any card on the Field back to their owner’s hand, can even return your opponent’s Spell/Trap cards back to their hand.
• Please take note that this monster’s effect does not affect Hazy Flame archetype monsters therefore they cannot return Hazy Flame monsters back to the owner’s hand.
• You can also return Lava Golem on your side of the Field back to your opponent’s hand to prevent further effect damage.
• This card is faster in comparison to Guardian Statue and Crass Clown as it does not require to be flipped summoned/switch position in order to return opponent’s monsters.

These are some of the popular monsters in the current meta that may take a considerable amount of resources to summon to the Field. Abyss Soldier is able to thwart that effort by simply returning that monster to your opponent’s hand.

Use Salvage to retrieve 2 WATER monsters with 1500 or lower ATK from your Graveyard to your hand.

These cards greatly increases Abyss Soldier’s ATK power to an incredible level. All these 3 cards grants a total of 1100 ATK to Abyss Soldier.
