How to Use

Initial Setup: Amazoness Princess & Amazoness Onslaught

Amazoness Princess	EARTH Warrior ★3 ATK 1200 / DEF 900
	Mai Valentine [UR]
This card's name becomes "Amazoness Queen" while on the field or in the GY. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Amazoness" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Amazoness Princess" once per turn. When this card declares an attack: You can send 1 other card from your hand or field to the GY; Special Summon 1 "Amazoness" monster from your Deck in Defense Position, except "Amazoness Princess".

Your first priority upon summoning Princess is to search and set Onslaught. If you already have Onslaught onhand you can use this search to get Willpower.

Next step is to get Queen. If Queen is still in your deck, declare an attack with Princess to search out Queen, do this even if your opponent's monster is stronger since Queen's effect will prevent your monster(s) from being destroyed by battle.

Don't attack the enemy if Queen is in your hand. You can special summon her with Onslaught during battle phase. If you still want to search for the other cards, you can still use Princess to search for Swordswoman, Tiger, or Baby Tiger.

Amazoness Onslaught	Continuous Trap
	Valiant Souls [R]
Once per turn, during the Battle Phase: You can Special Summon 1 "Amazoness" monster from your hand, and if you do, it gains 500 ATK until the end of this turn (even if this card leaves the field). After damage calculation, if your "Amazoness" monster battled an opponent's monster while this card is already face-up in your Spell & Trap Zone: You can banish that opponent's monster. If this card on the field is destroyed and sent to the GY: You can target 1 "Amazoness" monster in your GY; Special Summon it.

The ability to Special Summon an Amazoness from your hand lets you easily put Queen onboard. Additionally this lets you swarm the field with Amazoness monsters, which in turn increases your damage potential and the efficiency of Onslaught's removal effect. The ATK boost from this Special Summon is significant enough that you might want to hold off Normal Summon your Amazoness during the Main Phase, if you only have one Amazoness monster onhand.

Onslaught's removal effect is its best feature, giving you access to non-targeting, non-destruction, banishing removal. This form of removal is still quite relevant to this day, the only downside is being tied to a Continuous Trap makes it vulnerable to backrow removal.

The floating effect is also great although it's not worth destroying Onslaught. If this happens, you might want to revive Amazoness Swordswoman to push some damage, because at this point, it becomes much harder to win.

Amazoness Queen

Amazoness Queen	EARTH Warrior ★6 ATK 2400 / DEF 1800

"Amazoness" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle.

She is the only monster with a level higher than 4 in this deck, which isn't really a problem since she can be special summoned from the hand with Onslaught's effect, or special summoned from the deck with Princess' effect.

Queen's battle protection effect compliments Onslaught by protecting your Amazoness monsters when they crash into stronger monsters. This means your monsters won't be destroyed while Onslaught banishes your opponent's monsters. And with the Holy Guard Skill crashing into your opponent's monsters won't even damage you, so you are free to attack and banish without losing anything.

Amazoness Swordswoman

Amazoness Swords Woman	EARTH Warrior ★4 ATK 1500 / DEF 1600

Your opponent takes all Battle Damage that you would have taken from a battle involving this card.

Swords Woman has a unique effect that gives you a way of dealing damage through stronger monsters. This is complimented by Queen's battle protection, letting you crash Swords Woman into stronger monsters to deal damage and not get destroyed. Add Onslaught to this combo and the resulting effect seems really unfair to your opponent.

The reflected battle damage can sometimes even steal you some wins in tough situations.

Amazoness Tiger

Amazoness Tiger	EARTH Beast ★4 ATK 1100 / DEF 1500

You can only control 1 "Amazoness Tiger". This card gains 400 ATK for each "Amazoness" monster you control. Your opponent cannot attack any face-up "Amazoness" monsters, except this one.

Protect the other lower ATK stat from attacking by your opponent's monster with min. 1900 ATK if you control another Amazoness monster.

Amazoness Spy

Amazoness Spy	EARTH Warrior ★3 ATK 800 / DEF 1200
	Valiant Souls [N] Selection Box Vol. 02 [N]
You can reveal 1 other "Amazoness" monster in your hand; Special Summon this card from your hand. You can only use this effect of "Amazoness Spy" once per turn. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the GY: You can target 1 "Amazoness" monster in your GY, except "Amazoness Spy"; return it to the hand, or shuffle it into the Deck.

Amazoness Spy can let you summon Queen stuck in your hand. Reveal Queen to Special Summon Spy, then tribute Spy to summon Queen. Additionally, Spy is one of the few ways you can recover your only copy of Queen from the graveyard.

Spy's costless inherent Special Summoning effect also makes her an ideal Xyz material. Pair Spy with Princess to make a Rank-3 Xyz.

Amazoness Baby Tiger

Amazoness Baby Tiger	EARTH Beast ★2 ATK 500 / DEF 500
	Valiant Souls [R]
This card's name becomes "Amazoness Tiger" while on the field or in the GY. If an "Amazoness" monster is Normal or Special Summoned to your field while this card is in your hand or GY: You can Special Summon this card. You can only use this effect of "Amazoness Baby Tiger" once per turn. Gains 100 ATK for each "Amazoness" card in your GY.

Baby Tiger's self revival effect makes it ideal for disposable purposes. For example, Baby Tiger is the best cost to use when Princess Special Summons an Amazoness from the Deck. You can also crash Baby Tiger into enemy monsters and banish them with Onslaught.

Good Techs to search out Amazoness Princess as soon as possible for boarding setup.

2 Level 3 monsters When this card is Special Summoned: You can attach 1 Level 3 WATER monster from your hand or your side of the field to this card as an Xyz Material. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 WATER monster you control; this turn, that monster can attack your opponent directly, also other monsters cannot attack.

Summon Nightmare Shark and use its effect to hit your opponent directly for 2000 damage.

Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger	WIND Dragon ★7 ATK 2600 / DEF 2100
	Infinite Ray [SR]
2 Level 7 monsters You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 5 or 6 Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent.

After Corebage uses up its material you can overlay it with Gaia Dragon for a stronger beater with a piercing effect.

Number 70: Malevolent Sin	DARK Insect ★4 ATK 2400 / DEF 1200
	Photons of Galaxy [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it until your opponent's next Standby Phase. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked: You can make this card gain 300 ATK, and if you do, increase its Rank by 3.

Malevolent Sin is an anti-Xyz tech. Summon Malevolent Sin and use its effect to temporarily banish an enemy Xyz monster. The Xyz monster will return with no materials attached to it.

The Phantom Knights of Break Sword	DARK Warrior ★3 ATK 2000 / DEF 1000
	Phantom of Rebellion [SR]
2 Level 3 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 card you control and 1 card your opponent controls; destroy them. If this Xyz Summoned card is destroyed: You can target 2 "The Phantom Knights" monsters with the same Level in your Graveyard; Special Summon them and increase their Levels by 1, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except DARK monsters.

The main starter boss of the deck. It has a card removal effect that almost works like Diamond Dire Wolf and a rank-up effect that works differently than just adding a higher rank on top of it. It's recommended to go after backrows first since it will be a huge problem if the monsters you special summoned get stopped by something like Floodgate Trap Hole or even Book of Moon.

Number 20: Giga-Brilliant	LIGHT Insect ★3 ATK 1800 / DEF 1800
	Number Hunter: Kite Tenjo Unlock Event [SR]
2 Level 3 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; all face-up monsters you currently control gain 300 ATK.

Giga-Brilliant can be summoned for its field-wide ATK boost.

Digital Bug Corebage	LIGHT Insect ★5 ATK 2200 / DEF 1800
	Infinite Ray [R]
2 or more Level 5 LIGHT Insect-Type monsters You can also Xyz Summon this card by detaching 2 Xyz Materials from a Rank 3 or 4 Insect-Type Xyz Monster you control, then using that Xyz Monster as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Defense Position monster your opponent controls; shuffle it into the Deck. Once per turn, if the battle position of a monster(s) on the field is changed (except during the Damage Step): You can attach 1 Insect-Type monster from your Graveyard to this card as Xyz Material.

Summon Corebage by overlaying it on Giga-Brilliant. It's removal effect is specialized for removing troublesome enemy walls, especially ones immune to destruction.

	Shark Fang [R]
2 or more Level 2 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 other face-up card on the field; while this monster is face-up on the field, that target has its effects negated. While that target is on the field, cards with the same name as that target, and their effects, cannot be activated.

The negation effect is handy for turning off enemy boss monster effects and key Spell/Trap cards.

Necro Fusion & Amazoness Pet Liger

Amazoness Pet Liger	EARTH Beast ★7 ATK 2500 / DEF 2400
	Mai Valentine
"Amazoness Tiger" + 1 "Amazoness" monster Once per battle, if this card attacks, during damage calculation: You can make this card gain 500 ATK during that damage calculation only. If your "Amazoness" monster attacked an opponent's monster, after damage calculation: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; it loses 800 ATK. Monsters your opponent controls cannot attack "Amazoness" monsters you control, except this one.

If you control this card and "Amazoness Tiger", it can prevent the opponent from attacking any "Amazoness" monsters.

Necro Fusion	Normal Trap
	Warriors Unite [SR]
Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, by banishing Fusion Materials listed on it from your GY face-down, but it cannot attack this turn.

Use Necro Fusion to Fusion Summon Amazoness Pet Liger. But keep in mind that your Amazoness Fusion Materials will not be able to special summon back to the field since it is banishing in Face-Down Position.

Protect Amazoness Onslaught

Mana Dragon Zirnitron	DARK Dragon ★6 ATK 2200 / DEF 1200
	Tornado of Phantoms [SR]
If a Spell/Trap you control leaves the field because of an opponent's effect, and is now in the GY or banished (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon this card from the GY (if it was there when that Spell/Trap left) or hand (even if not), then you can Set 1 Spell/Trap that is banished or in your GY to your Spell & Trap Zone. You can only use this effect of “Mana Dragon Zirnitron” once per turn. If Summoned this way, banish this card when it leaves the field.

Keep Zirnitron onhand in case your opponent removes Onslaught. When it does happen Special Summon Zirnitron and retrieve Onslaught, this works for both banish and removal that sends to the graveyard. If you have 2 empty monster zones you can Special Summon Zirnitron and also use Onslaught's floating effect.

U.A. Perfect Ace & Warrior Lady of the Wasteland

U.A. Perfect Ace	EARTH Warrior ★5 ATK 1500 / DEF 2500
	Valhalla Calling [SR]
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by returning 1 "U.A." monster you control to the hand, except "U.A. Perfect Ace". You can only Special Summon "U.A. Perfect Ace" once per turn this way. Once per turn, during your opponent's turn, when a card or effect is activated: You can discard 1 card; negate that activation, and if you do, destroy it (this is a Quick Effect).

Perfect Ace will usually be Special Summoned by Warrior Lady of the Wasteland. He can negate any effect at the cost of a discard, but this effect can only be used once per turn so reserve it for protecting Onslaught.

Another weakness is you can only use his negation effect during the opponent's turn. This still leaves Onslaught vulnerable to removal during your turn.

Amazoness Sage

Amazoness Sage	EARTH Warrior ★4 ATK 1400 / DEF 700
	Mai Valentine [SR] Ranked Rewards [SR]
At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked and is still on the field: Target 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; destroy that target.

Amazoness Sage will becomes not only backrow removal but also monster removal when she is paired with Amazoness Onslaught.

Giant Rat & Warrior Lady of the Wasteland

Giant Rat	EARTH Beast ★4 ATK 1400 / DEF 1450
	Future Horizon [SR]
When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 EARTH monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck, in Attack Position.

A straight upgrade over Warrior Lady of the Wasteland, just more expensive.

Warrior Lady of the Wasteland	EARTH Warrior ★4 ATK 1100 / DEF 1200
	Kings Resonance [R] Valhalla Calling [R]
When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 EARTH Warrior-Type monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck, in face-up Attack Position.

Warrior Lady of the Wasteland can Special Summon most of the monsters in this deck. Special Summon Princess to setup your field, Swords Woman for pushing damage, or Perfect Ace to protect Onslaught.

Since you want the previously mentioned monsters to be alive when your turn comes, you can keep Special Summoning Warrior Lady to stall attacks until you are sure the opponent has no attacks left. (Not recommended against Lunalight decks and Invoked Purgatrio)

Amazoness Village

Amazoness Village	Field Spell
	Energy of Gigarays [SR]
All "Amazoness" monsters gain 200 ATK. Once per turn, when an "Amazoness" monster is destroyed by battle or by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 "Amazoness" monster from your Deck with a Level less than or equal to that "Amazoness" monster in the Graveyard.

A Field Spell that can boost all Amazoness monsters' ATK. Special summon another Amazoness monster from your Deck makes your opponent hard to OTK easily. When Amazoness Princess is special summoned from your Deck by this effect, you can trigger Princess' effect to search out Amazoness cards such as Amazoness Onslaught for next turn setup.

Wall of Disruption

Wall of Disruption	Normal Trap
	Servants of Kings [SR] Selection Box Vol. 02 Mini [SR]
When an opponent's monster declares an attack: All Attack Position monsters your opponent controls lose 800 ATK for each monster they control.

Pretty good Battle Trap that can potentially be devastating against decks that like to swarm the field.

Amazoness Willpower

Amazoness Willpower	Continuous Trap
	Mai Valentine [SR]
Select 1 "Amazoness" monster in your Graveyard and Special Summon it in Attack Position. It cannot change its battle position and must attack if able. When this card is removed from the field, destroy that monster. When that monster is destroyed, destroy this card.

Amazoness Willpower is favored over other revival options such as Powerful Rebirth because of its ability to bring back Amazoness Queen. Also, it’s second effect that obligates your Amazoness monster to attack each battle phase is somewhat mitigated when paired up with Amazoness Queen and Amazoness Onslaught.

Limit onslaught.

Onslaught needs a limit.

Amazones onslaught needs to be limited to at least 2 or make it share limited with an important amazone card.

Having it at 3 makes it overkill.
It is way too disruptive in this meta.
The deck is the most played too.

3x princess to search for it.
-It banishes on contact.
-It special summons in battle phase (multiple monsters if you have multiple onslaught and multiple monsters in your hand).
-it special summons from the grave on destruction.

Add cards like amazones willpower to this to get princess back and another onslaught and you will face multiple onslaughts right from the start that you have to go through, but its unlikely that you can do that so quick.

With queen and their crazy flooding potential or with their crazy flooding potential alone they can just banish exchange your monsters and have monsters left to attack your lp.

Even if you get their life low they can still kamikaze into you to banish with holy guard or amazones swordswoman.

Do something about this deck to balance it some.

Except Sylvan decks always rely heavily on luck (the cards you excavate), regardless of what skill you use, while Amazoness deck with 3 Princesses and 2-3 Onslaught is 100% GG (especially with Restart skill).

SB will destroy this deck after the update easily.

Good thing they didn't limit Onslaught, else this deck would be dead(to easy to destroy/banish such an important card).

There are many ways to avoid(win against) this deck:
Chaoshunter.
Extrem damage.
SSA.
Monster removal(resource war).
AMA.
To some extent backrow removal(if only 1 onslaught).

From 10 confrontations with my GB I won 2-3 w/o any of the above methods but a good starting hand(defensive cards+starting first).

No, Onslaught will be SEMI-Limited, meaning you'll be able to put only 2 copies while LIMITED would mean 1.

That is what I thought. I took her out of my deck awhile back because I thought I saw her do nothing (and it doesn't look like anyone else uses her, either). I didn't know about heirloom, though. I'm guessing she doesn't work with that because it destroys by an effect. In a way, it is kind of a shame. She could have been good.

HOLY COSMOS!
Just started playing Amazoness some mins ago.
It was a dlv max match against Sylvans.
I go first, set TTH and Onslaught. End my turn. Opponent starts w kuroshroom facedown and probably an econ? facedown as well.
Turn 3, I summon swordwoman, activate TTH, Kuroshroom dies with swordwoman. Special summon Paladin w onslaught effect, deal 2300 dmg. Turn 4, opponent summons carrot, doesnt attack. Turn 5, I special summon baby tiger, baby tiger dies in battle against carrot and banishes him, direct attack w Paladin and win the duel.

So... in order to win, this deck needs to sacrifice your own monsters in battle, unleast you have Queen on field... I don't really like that :(

Even the evil and nasty Masked heroes don't get rid of their commarades in battle to win.

I guess amazoness prefer to die in battle...
I'm not really sure if I'm going to get used to this deck... hehe ^^

U have a lucky to get TTH in ur first turn with so many trap in ur deck also, and u just so lucky enough that opponent is quite dumb to not tribute carrot for ur highest atk mons.

Usually Sylvans when don't have time to excavate (like in this case), they just drop down a marshall and mill some carrot or rose or some annoying sylvans then boom, your field is nuked...
Their hand must be soooo brick for this to happen...

I'm laughing right now their are many people said that amazoness is the cure(since the release of princess) and now their are more people who complain. This shows that people are crybabies.

The funniest thing when playing this deck is when you go up against someone using parasite infestation, and keep watching the parasite getting shuffled further down into your deck right when it looks like you will draw it, every time you use the princess' effect to get an amazoness spell/trap from your deck.

A thing that is more funny is when Amazon players attack into my Chaos Hunter while Empress is on the field and try to banish the 🔥 out of me ending up loosing all their monsters due to a wall of disruption xD

This deck is more 🔥 than Sylvans. They swarm the field, they banish your stuff and they always open up with a Princess or the trap card.

In the Japanese tournament Sylvans placed first place and second. Amazoness didn't even place. Also remove their backrow and remove Queen and they're toast. (Which isn't that hard.)
