During either player's turn, when your opponent activates a card or effect: You can Tribute this card; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy all cards your opponent controls. Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; negate its effects until the end of this turn, and you can activate 1 of its effects as this card's effect once this turn. During the End Phase: Target 1 "Stardust Dragon" in your Graveyard; return this card from the field to the Extra Deck, then Special Summon that target.

Tips

Summoning

Instead of using Majestic Star Dragon’s own summoning conditions, you can cheat him out with these card effects. Ghost Charon, the Underworld Boatman can pair with any level-8 Fusion monster in your graveyard to make Majestic Star Dragon. King’s Synchro can make Majestic Star Dragon without needing any of the specified materials.

Kinka-Byo can revive Majestic Dragon while you control Stardust Dragon. Then you can use all monsters you control to make Majestic Star Dragon.

You can use Forbidden Chalice before your End Phase so Majestic Star Dragon can stay till your next turn.

If Majestic Star Dragon was Synchro Summoned, you can tribute it before the End Phase with its own effect or as the cost of another card like Ectoplasmer. This puts him in the graveyard where you can continually revive it with The Creator or other similar effects.

G.B. Hunter

G.B. Hunter prevents Majestic Star Dragon from returning to the Extra Deck without negating its other effects.

Even without having stardust dragon in the graveyard it STILL returns to the extra deck, the nerve of this card

Yea, the wording in TCG is incorrect, in OCG text it actually returns to the Extra Deck first before asking you to select 1 Stardust Dragon in the Graveyard.

For some reason, instead of reprinting the card with proper text, TCG choose to keep the incorrect text and just ruled that the effect still activates even if you don't have Stardust in graveyard, which doesn't make much sense with the text.

The OCG text, if anyone's curious:

エンドフェイズ時、このカードをエクストラデッキに戻し、自分の墓地の「スターダスト・ドラゴン」１体を選択して特殊召喚する。

Endofeizu-ji, kono kādo o ekusutoradekki ni modoshi, jibun no bochi no `sutādasuto doragon' 1 karada o sentakushi te tokushu shōkan suru.

During the End Phase, return this card to the Extra Deck, then select 1 "Stardust Dragon" in your Graveyard, and Special Summon it.

Not worth a brick deck.you would need to summon 3 monsters in one turn if you're using GB Hunter which you need to summon right after summoning him

Also it's summoning requirement is really weird. Majestic Dragon (1 star) + Stardust Dragon (8 stars) + one more non tuner monster. Since this monster is 10 stars, which means the remaining monster has to be 1 star.

It will be very hard to fulfill these requirements in PvP.

With new Yusei skill it is kind of easy to summon, but does it worth it. I dont think so.

How about you read what ghost charon does? I'll be banishing it and invoked magellanica for the combo if I ever get in a situation where it's possible, again, it's just for the memes

As much as I like the majestic dragon synchros, I hope they skip these and just bring out Shooting Star Dragon and Red Nova Dragon

Knowing how awful it is, Konami probably wont even put it in box.

I'm guessing this card and Majestic Red Dragon will be Yusei & Jack's level 40 reward respectively.

If you want to prevent this card being returned to the Ex deck, use that Lv4 earth warrior card that prevents cards being returned. I forgot it's name. I would still pass on using this both Majestic Dragons

It's not just the summon. This card only stays on the field for 1 turn. You spent all that effort, but if you don't win the duel on the same turn, it's pointless.

If you can bring this card out you are pretty much in a winning state already. You have to be absolutely awful at the game for not winning after you brought this overkill card out. Also you can EASILY negate that effect of it returning with forbidden card.

See? That's the problem with this card. You have to build a very bad and inconsistent deck to summon this card. It's not worth it.
