You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by returning 1 "U.A." monster you control to the hand, except "U.A. Perfect Ace". You can only Special Summon "U.A. Perfect Ace" once per turn this way. Once per turn, during your opponent's turn, when a card or effect is activated: You can discard 1 card; negate that activation, and if you do, destroy it (this is a Quick Effect).
Special Summoning requires you to return a U.A. monster to the hand.
Negation effect requires a discard cost.
U.A. decks can easily Special Summon high-leveled monsters by switching it with another U.A. monster on the field. The problem is they only have 1 low-leveled monster they can Normal Summon without tribute, U.A. Midfielder, which they rely on to start their plays.
Aside from the U.A. monsters’ signature effect, you can also Special Summon U.A. Perfect Ace with these cards. Mausoleum of the Emperor allows you to Normal Summon a high-leveled monster with your LP as cost.
Feast of the Wild LV5 can Special Summon U.A. Perfect Ace for no cost, but he cannot attack and use his effect. In this case, it is better to tag him out with another U.A. monster immediately after summoning.
This is a good card, but as people said, it doesn’t boost its consistency, which is a HUGE factor. Low attack, high Defense and a negate with discard cost, this is like a better Sage Fur Hire but in a less consistent deck.
Cool new card for U.A to use. Unfortunately, it doesn’t make the deck any more consistent. If you want to play this deck, I recommend running it with Draw Sense Low-Level + Cosmic Cyclone for best results. The skill was buffed recently to be activated whenever you lose at least 1000 LP, so it’s a free search for Midfielder.
