Well in some sense... yes BUT no. Just wait for 5d's World where the game will pick up and people will get in the train again even more hyped... drop it again, and wait for Zexal World. And then Arc-V World... and for us loyal enough, Vrains World.

Why would you start 5ds again if everybody knows they dont stand a chance against the ones that kept playing anyways?

You know that there are no retunring player rewards. You log back in, see 5 new packs, see your 2 leftover gems and log back out LMAO

Everyone start (or start again) at some point. I know people who are willing to start playing now that 5Ds are coming in.

moves from the devs/Konami.
There are a few thing they could easily implement like Tag Duels permanent(even with partnerfunction 2 vs. 1/2 AI)!
They can revamp different PvP modes(like loaner/character prebuild decks so you can have fun in those special duels)! Revamping the rewards for different things. There is no real thing to farm LDs anymore(if you have a playset of 3 from every card it offer

as the gemrewards are most times a joke and getting glossy/prismatic is just okay).
They can improve the card trader a lot! Like giving him the ability to upgrade EVERY card in the game to glossy/prismatic. Hell even some suggested, that you could craft box cards for a huge fee.
They can even implement char specialization/whatever to make a char more unique.

Finished the event already, really disappointed that they aren't doing the extra 1000 point yellow meters for gold. I'm almost at the point of having bought 3 of every card trader card and really needed that extra gold. I know I can get it elsewhere, but that would have been easier...

How the hell you finished the event already, are you playing the game 24/7 or what

playing roughly 6 hours a day and using a lot of duel orbs. you can fight on x3 rewards for standard duelist and that multiplies your duel-a-thon points at the end as well. Also add lots of friends. You can get up to 20 extra points per duel if you have friends playing at the same time as you. There is a player search function so you can add friends at random from all over the world.

Ah yeah, forgot about the x3 feature. That does speed things up.

lol buying out the card trader, I've spent over 4M Gold and almost all my resources trying to buy him out (Just hit 500). I would recommend farming in Casual PVP if Gold is all you need; I'm barely halfway through the event...I too was hoping for the extra gold, so I guess it's PVP farming for me.

It's cute how everyone thinks getting 1 gem is bad.

Go play Puzzles and Dragons or Brave Frontier, THEN 🔥 about getting less gems. Bunch of whiny brats.

Thnx!
The statics are for non RNG Gems given this month as well as Jan, Feb, May, and July. It's a shame he doesn't have more data, but I find it interesting that May gave us such an increase in Gem rewards...and if you average out May and July we get a 4500 count, which is pretty close to Jan and Feb.

Saladfingers Reply
If we could find more data, we could really see just how much the gem count has fallen...with the data given in the link, we can't say much but I can say that the count is pretty much balanced considering the High & Low Points given.

Honestly I don't get why the hell they think N ticket is a good daily login reward at this point.

Within DL's first few months maybe, but now?

All the R tickets in daily login should be SR tickets instead, while the N tickets should be R tickets instead.....

Now that's how you make people willing to log in.

Saladfingers Reply
I think they should be included as well, maybe once a week SR and Glossy r tickets to keep things interesting. A Glossy SR once a month would also be appreciated.

When will Komoney stop nerf the gems? lol

First I would like to say, the amount of gems I get is FANTASTIC! I just started DL today and Konami is showering me with SR/UR tickets, gems, $1 UR Sales, etc. That being said, what's with all of the complaints? If you don't like the game, uninstall crybabies!!! :O

The reason why Konami is nerfing so many gems is simple: they are lousy at understanding their customers. They put an absurdly high price for the purchase of packs of cards. To complete a large box, you would need more than $ 150, so to get all UR copies you would need more than $ 450! With this money, I could buy many non-virtual cards and I could use it without being prisoned in a single game mode. In addition, the meta in the TCG lasts much longer than in DL, so many cards that I bought in DL in 1 or 2 months could be of no use. That is: buying letters in DL does not worth, and therefore few people should make massive purchase of packages. This, of course, should not have pleased a big boss who wanted more sales.
What could Konami do to solve the problem? 1- Lower the price of the cards. 2- Increase the time they launch new boxes and thus make the bought cards worth more. 3. Forcing people to buy cards by nerfing gems. Needless to say, respectful companies would choose the first two options, even though they are the means that actually work. But Konami chose to go the way that took a lot of f2p games to the hole, as f2p players will still be f2p or just leave the game. And so another great game dies.
