Not very effective in PvP and difficult to obtain since it's event only.

Cards with effects that activate when it destroys an opponent's monster by battle can be really good for auto dueling decks to lvl up your characters. These cards can be used in any deck for any character without the need for a character skill. Having low attack can be good since it will ensure that enemy AI attacks your monster. Pair these with standard defensive cards that increase your monster's attack, or lower your opponent monster's attack. Eg: Wall of Disruption, Mirror Wall, or Skill Successor.

Thank god, Konami cares about the balance of the game and held back on this one, otherwise we could've gotten like what? 500 BURN DAMAGE?! That would be 🔥ing insane man...

The burn damage isn't the issue here. The issue is how easily you can trigger it. You only have to destroy a monster and send it to the GY. If you're able to do that 10 times in the same turn, you have an insanely strong OTK deck. It's truly horrifying!!!

Yeah, only 1 copy, at least for now.

(They made Gamushara obtainable multiple times via a lottery just recently, so there's a chance Fossil Tusker will be released again somewhere else in the future)

I have 3 on my main account. I think in addition to the two listed here, it was a Card Trader EX card in an event at some point. I think it's also been in a couple of the more open SR tickets like the Worlds ones.

It's not a good burn card. It's not the worst card ever, 1800 ATK's actually relevant to a degree, pretending its effect is a selling point is dumb.

I think OP said something like that because there are many noobs around who don't know how to play the game and ask for bans all day long.

There are crazy players in the internet, often from asia who can create many original builds that can actually be competitive. This comment is definitely not aimed to someone like you.

Why duel a thons rewards are so damn trashy. the only one that actually is decent was the gaia.

Yeah you might be right or wrong. CA WAS free until they limit the core cards and people need to get 2-3 Saffira to make the deck works again, it's a good investment at that moment, now the deck is just powercrept by newer decks like Alien and D-Hero (due to Trinity can easily 🔥 this deck). On the other hand, AG is good but it's not strong enough cuz their relying on backrow lockdown....

...and has no searcher AT ALL thus make the deck too slow for the current meta. Yes, konami give us strong and cheap decks like Alien or Sylvan (well, not too cheap apparently) for F2P to keep with the meta. But, as an old player, im experiencing that the gems flows isnt equal with the rapid release of boxes and it forces us to spend money to get newer deck and stay on competitive line
