Tyrant Dragon: deck recipe

• Very easy to play.
• If you summon “Tyrant Dragon” fast you win the game.
• Very easy to summon big monsters.

• Not summoning one of your big monsters instanlty may lose you the game against faster decks.
• “Blue-Eyes White Dragon” is not immune to traps like “Tyrant Dragon” is.
• Flip effect monsters like “Hane-Hane” and “Yomi Ship” could counter you.

This whole deck is based around summoning either “Blue-Eyes White Dragon” or “Tyrant Dragon” as fast as possible and winning the game by the overwhelming force of your huge monster.

Best opener would be “Stray Lambs” into one of your big monsters on the same turn. If you do not get the spell card in your opening hand but you do one of the double tributers, then play them with cards that protect them for a turn.

• Blue Eyes White Dragon or Tyrant Dragon?

  If you can summon either “Blue-Eyes White Dragon” or “Tyrant Dragon” then always chose “Tyrant Dragon” because he is not only more aggressive but also immune to a the commonly used trap, "Michizure".

"Mirror Wall", the most useful trap card in current card pool, do not target a monster. That means "Tyrant Dragon" cannot negate the effect of the trap card. Additionally, if your opponent uses a deck based on non-effect monsters, "Order to Charge" will easily destroy your high level monster.

• I am having problem with flip effect monsters, what should i do?

  You may want to play at least two copies of “Overwhelm”as it will not only protect your dragons from flip effects/monster effects in general but it will also negate the activation of "Mirror Wall".

Best cards to counter

Hane-Hane	The flip effect returns a big monster to owner's hand.
Yomi Ship	Destroys a big monster if it attacks into this monster. Note that your opponent can also attack with low-level monsters.
Enemy Controller	Good to steal a dragon.
Mirror Wall	Tyrant Dragon cannot negate effect of this trap card since it does not target a monster.
