Introduction

Metaphys Daedalus
Metaphys Daedalus
LIGHT Wyrm ★7
ATK 2600 / DEF 1500
Blazing Rose [SR]
If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a "Metaphys" monster: You can banish all other face-up Special Summoned monsters on the field. If this card is banished, during the Standby Phase of the next turn: You can shuffle this banished card into the Deck; banish 1 "Metaphys" card from your Deck, except "Metaphys Daedalus".

This deck anti so many meta of famous decks. Metaphys Daedalus is core of this deck many decks are special summon when Metaphys Daedalus enter the field and it banish them all (not all meta deck like banish). You don't have problem with Invoked Dragon too because ability Daedalus is not target and not destroy. I put one Necrovalley too.

Skill

LP Boost α
Increases starting Life Points by 1000.
Common
Common

I choose this Skill because Metaphys is slow deck and you need to have more LP to save your turn .

Graveyard Lockdown

Necrovalley

Necrovalley
Necrovalley
Field Spell
Dark Dimension [UR]
All "Gravekeeper's" monsters gain 500 ATK and DEF. Cards in the Graveyard cannot be banished. Negate any card effect that would move a card in the Graveyard to a different place. Negate any card effect that changes Types or Attributes in the Graveyard.

This deck don't need use graveyard effect just banish many decklist which use graveyard effect. As Necrovalley will prevent their effect like Shiranui Synchro, Invoked, Witchcrafter, Lightsworn, Infernity and many more.

Metaphys Monsters

Metaphys Tyrant Dragon

Metaphys Tyrant Dragon
Metaphys Tyrant Dragon
LIGHT Wyrm ★8
ATK 2900 / DEF 2500
Blazing Rose [R]
If this card was Special Summoned by the effect of a "Metaphys" monster, it is unaffected by Trap effects, also if it attacks a monster, it can make a second attack in a row. If this card is banished, during the Standby Phase of the next turn: You can shuffle this banished card into the Deck; Special Summon 1 "Metaphys" monster from your hand, but banish it during the End Phase of the next turn.

Metaphys Tyrant Dragon is unaffected by trap card when summon by Metaphys effect it's really good for battle no fear when it come to battle phase it can make second attack when attack monster too.

Metaphys Nephythys

Metaphys Nephthys
Metaphys Nephthys
LIGHT Wyrm ★8
ATK 2400 / DEF 1600
Blazing Rose [R]
If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a "Metaphys" monster: You can banish all Set Spells and Traps on the field. If this card is banished, during the Standby Phase of the next turn: You can shuffle this banished card into the Deck; add 1 "Metaphys" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Metaphys Nephthys".

Metaphys Nephthys when it banishes next standby phase it and let you pull one Metaphys card. If this card summon by Metaphys effect, it can banishes all Spell/Trap.

Banish Combo Techs

Aloof Lupine

Aloof Lupine
Aloof Lupine
DARK Beast ★4
ATK 1700 / DEF 300
Blazing Rose [N]
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can banish 1 monster from your hand; banish 1 monster from your Deck with the same Type as that monster. If this card is destroyed by battle, or if this card in its owner’s possession is destroyed by an opponent’s card effect: You can target 1 of your banished monsters; add it to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Aloof Lupine" once per turn.

Aloof Lupine is important as this deck have big monster you can't summon and you need special summon for gain effect each Metaphys card too. If you open hand don't have Asymetaphys you need too use this card. When Aloof Lupine normal summon if you have Metaphys monster in your hand you can banish one in your hand and your deck. I recommend one of them should be Metaphys Nephthys or so next turn you can add Metaphys monster or Asymetaphys.

Soul Absorption

Soul Absorption
Soul Absorption
Continuous Trap
Wonders of the Sky [R]
Blazing Rose [R]
If a card(s) is banished: Gain 500 LP for each.

Soul Absorption is good for recover your LP when card banish not only your banish but your opponent too you gain benefit from it

Asymetaphys

Asymmetaphys
Asymmetaphys
Continuous Trap
Blazing Rose [R]
Once per turn: You can banish 1 "Metaphys" card from your hand, and if you do, draw 1 card. Once per turn, if your "Metaphys" card in its owner's possession is banished: Apply this effect depending on whose turn it is.
● Your turn: All monsters on the field lose 500 ATK/DEF, except "Metaphys" monsters.
● Opponent's turn: Change the battle positions of all monsters on the field, except "Metaphys" monsters.

Asymetaphys is another important card if you don't have it you can't banish core of this deck is banish if you can't banish this deck can't do anything. Good thing about Asymetaphys you can banish any Metaphys card not just monster like Aloof Lupine you can draw too and decrease opponent' monsters' ATK/DEF except Metaphys monster.

Metaphys Factor

Metaphys Factor
Metaphys Factor
Field Spell
Blazing Rose [N]
Each turn, 1 Level 5 or higher "Metaphys" monster you Normal Summon can be Summoned without Tributing, but banish it during the End Phase of the next turn. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to your "Metaphys" monsters' effect activations.

Metaphys factor one card should be enough. This card is really depends on situation as it lets you normal summon Metaphys but that Metaphys don't gain it effect this card it like when you have no other option or you are really sure you opponent doesn't card guard them you can normal summon and attack.

Metaphys Dimension

Metaphys Dimension
Metaphys Dimension
Continuous Trap
Blazing Rose [UR]
If your opponent Special Summons a monster (except during the Damage Step): You can target 1 of your banished "Metaphys" monsters; Special Summon it, but banish it during the End Phase of the next turn. If your other "Metaphys" card in its owner's possession is banished while this card is already face-up in your Spell & Trap Zone: You can target 1 card your opponent controls; banish it. You can only use each effect of "Metaphys Dimension" once per turn.

Metaphys Dimension one card is enough when your Metaphys monster get banish you can target banish one your opponent card on the field. This card is work with Metaphys Daedalus because it second effect when it banishes you can banish one Metaphys monster in your deck and this can work on opponent turn too.

Gold Sarcophagus

Gold Sarcophagus
Gold Sarcophagus
Normal Spell
Selection Box Vol. 03 [UR]
Spellbound Silence [UR]
Banish 1 card from your Deck, face-up. During your second Standby Phase after this card's activation, add that card to your hand.

For Gold Sarcophagus I think one card is good for me you can banish one card of your deck and nothing else just wait for effect of your Metaphys monster next standby phase.

Other Techs

Cosmic Cyclone

Cosmic Cyclone
Cosmic Cyclone
Quick Spell
Galactic Origin [UR]
Pay 1000 LP, then target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; banish it.

Cosmic Cyclone to banish their trap spell field I run one card since every card Metaphy effect already cover for it.

Floodgate Trap Hole

Floodgate Trap Hole
Floodgate Trap Hole
Normal Trap
Generation Next [UR]
When your opponent Summons a monster(s): Change that monster(s) to face-down Defense Position. Monsters changed to face-down Defense Position by this effect cannot change their battle positions.

Floodgate Trap hole for facedown their summon to save your turn.

You can replace Gold Sarc with Kiteroid

You can use dream UR ticket to get Gold Sarc, and it also shows up in one of the volume box sales when they are available.

it is also available in selection box.
I now have 4. I regret that I spent(wasted) 1 UR dream ticket for it

Just use kiteroid like the other guy said. Dont bother getting gold sarc. Kitroid combos nice with aloof lupine too.

That KoG deck actually F2P. Only 1 copy of each UR needed.

Proof that those so called "power creeped" decks are still extremely strong and reaching the tops. You just need to put the right tech cards and think your build very well.

In addition, you need to climb very late in the month when all the best built meta decks have already reached KOG lol. Still impressive though.

Meta tier 1 decks usually need 50 wins and easy KoG. All the other KoG worthy decks struggle in every game, need good matchups, good open draws and usually climb on the end of the month when all meta decks have already KoG. If you have plenty of time and PATIENCE you can try. Personally I hate reaching legend 5 and being stucked there forever. 5 cumulative wins is too much for non meta decks.
