About half of the cards in this structure deck have no relation at all to the Red-Eyes archetype, and are instead generic Normal Monster and Fusion support. But the ones that are actually part of the Red-Eyes archetype are great cards.
Red-Eyes Wyvern, Red-Eyes Slash Dragon, and Cards of the Red-Stone are reprints from previous sets, but are not bad cards themselves. Especially Red-Eyes Slash Dragon whose protection effect is still relevant.
Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lightning is great not only for Red-Eyes Decks but can also be fit into Archfiend Decks or other DARK/Fiend themed decks. With his powerful effect, you may even build your deck around him.
For Toon Deck players, the two copies of Red-Eyes Toon Dragon is worth buying this structure deck at least once. Red-Eyes Toon Dragon provides Toon Decks with an alternative to their costly summoning conditions which will help them maintain resources.
Red-Eyes Retro Dragon and Return of the Red-Eyes are great revival options in a Red-Eyes Deck. Given that they revive for free and both of them technically have the ability to revive multiple Monsters, there is little reason for a Red-Eyes player not to get them.
With the recent popularity of Neos Fusion pitching monsters directly from the deck, this structure deck contains a card with similar abilities in the form of Red-Eyes Fusion. However Red-Eyes Fusion is more restrictive with summoning other monsters the turn you activate it. It also lacks the ranged of fusion materials you can pitch to the graveyard with only Red-Eyes Slash Dragon being it's best target, compared to Neos Fusion which has Elemental HERO Brave Neos and Elemental HERO Neos Knight. Lastly, it lacks the protection effect offered by Neos Fusion, instead having a second effect that changes the Fusion Monster's name into Red-Eyes B. Dragon.
If a Level 7 or lower "Red-Eyes" monster(s) you control, except "Red-Eyes B. Chick", is destroyed by your opponent's attack or card effect and sent to your Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card from your hand in Defense Position, and if you do, Special Summon as many of those destroyed monsters as possible in the same battle position they were in when destroyed. You can Tribute this card; you can Normal Summon 1 "Red-Eyes" monster during your Main Phase this turn, except "Red-Eyes B. Chick", in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. (You can only gain this effect once per turn.)
This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is a Normal Monster on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it become an Effect Monster with this effect.● Once per turn: You can destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls with DEF lower than this card's ATK.
Cannot attack the turn it is Summoned. While you control "Toon World" and your opponent controls no Toon monsters, this card can attack your opponent directly. Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 Toon monster from your hand, except "Red-Eyes Toon Dragon", ignoring its Summoning conditions.
Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster that lists a "Red-Eyes" monster as Material from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand, Deck, or your side of the field as Fusion Materials, and if you do, its name becomes "Red-Eyes B. Dragon". You cannot Normal or Special Summon other monsters the turn you activate this card. You can only activate 1 "Red-Eyes Fusion" per turn.
If you control a "Red-Eyes" monster, except "Red-Eyes B. Chick": You can target 1 Normal Monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it. If this card in your possession is destroyed by an opponent's card effect and sent to your Graveyard: You can target 1 "Red-Eyes" monster in your Graveyard, except "Red-Eyes B. Chick"; Special Summon it. You can only use each effect of "Return of the Red-Eyes" once per turn.
Never been a full ranked duel player but recently I reached the platinum rank and for Christ sake it's the biggest BS I've ever seen. Samurai, Neos Fusion, Lava Golen, Amazoness ALL OVER THE FKIN PLACE, no inventive decks, NOTHING. Took all the fun for me
Hmm, I'm thinking about using guardian of felgrand or dark crusader for fusion material, since guardian could do... well you know, and dark crusader was added since I don't have good warriors except, 1 d.d assailant, 2 boxers, and something else...
Duel Links Meta on YT was talking bout how they're Nerfing Kiaba Co Bling due to the fact that a whale deck spent an estimated 2,500 to get three prismatic copies of an UR diamond core to win the KC finals and Konami knew about these types of wins happening and didn't do anything for a while since they were making all that cheddar. I get needing to make an money. I get that. Also FK them
it is worth, but tends to be slower than the global play. I wont even find it strange if you end up with dead hand sometimes.
The only reason you bought it is because red eyes fusion, since it prevent a dead hand and insta- slash dragon.
I was expecting Summoned Skull and B. Skull Dragon at least.
Okay cards overall, but not really impressive compared to the likes of the Neo Fusion deck. This one still needs Red Eyes Insight and Red Eyes Spirit to do its job, though it does remove the need to take Paladin of Dark Dragon in the deck. Not even sure if Chick is necessary anymore with the new cards. Have to wait and see.
Possible? Yes, but it will be gimmicky. You can use Red-Eyes Insight to search out Red-Eyes Fusion, you could also combine Red-Eyes with Neos Fusion to possibly get more options for plays as well as get warriors into the deck for Slash. Personally, I don't expect Red-Eyes to challenge the meta with just the Slash fusion.
Red Eyes Black Chick is everywhere in description.
