Evaluation

Rating-/10

Pros

  • Can increase its attack and it will last until it's destroyed.
  • Synergy with Red-Eyes B. Dragon because of Red-Eyes Spirit, or from its own second effect.
  • Able to special summon normal Dragon-type monsters from either player's graveyard.

Cons

  • Low defense and base attack is 1700. There are already several monsters with higher attack.
  • Requires a discard of a normal dragon-type monster to increase attack..
  • Second effect only works if it's destroyed by your opponent's card effect.

Tips, related cards, skills

  • Activate this card's effect by sending Red-Eyes B. Dragon from your hand to the graveyard so you can activate Red-Eyes Spirit. You will have 2 monsters with 2,000 attack+.
  • If you have a lot of normal dragon-type monster, or any other normal monster, you can use Symbols of Duty to special summon other monsters from either player's graveyard.

Red-Eyes Spirit

Use the effect of Vanguard of the Dragon to send a Red-Eyes monster from your hand to the graveyard, then special summon it using this card.

Everyone thinks of dropping a red eyes, I think dropping a totem dragon is a nice option too (or perhaps it is because I only got 1 red eye spirit -_-)

If that so, you would have to run the deck with full of Dragon monster. I too only have 1 Red-Eyes Spirit, and there's no problem with it, hehe.

Wow. I don't have a single spirit yet and the event ends this week. 🔥 my life. The only 2 SR's I've gotten from him are Skull dice (yes 🔥ing Skull Dice) and Meteor Dragon. Also just to add to my misery I got an entire playset of some SR's from the Paradox bros within the first 2 days of their event and I didn't even 🔥ing want them.

Is this card good for BEWD deck? 3x blue eyes 3x kaibaman 3x blue dragon summoner 3x vanguard of the dragon and some Spell and trap cards???

I never said i discard blue eyes. My idea was 3x vanguard of the dragons instead of 3x crystal seer. Maybe that would give some more turns in duels to draw blue eyes or kaibaman. I just dont like The crystal seer Version.

I was thinking exactly the same idea as you. +2 red eyes since you can easily draw them from the deck using blue dragon summoner.

So you think vanguard of the dragons in bewd deck is a Good idea?

How in the hell would you Special Summon BEWD from your Graveyard using Totem Dragon? Totem Dragon just summons itself. Also Vanguard itself can Special Summon Blue-Eyes from the grave if your opponent Otc's it for example. It prevents them from using their Otc's and such because they don't want you to summon BEWD so it basically locks them down a little bit. Good in both decks but REBD is better.

Ohoo
This card is very Good. If BEWD is a good deck, Red eyes is a better deck with Joey support.

Up till now 1 Ishzarkwhatever, 2 Meteor and only 1 RE like you guys... I'm really starting to believe what other players said, i.e. if you farm, you get crap, if you lose, you get SR cards...at least that's what you get from their screenshots

We need dragon capture jar

Red Eyes deck is getting powerful.

This card is not so useful in Blue Eyes, in my opinion, for now.

Maybe in the future we get spell card that can summon Blue Eyes from the grave, then this card will be reliable for Blue Eyes.
