Send 1 Normal Monster you control to the Graveyard. Select and Special Summon 1 monster from either Graveyard and equip it with this card. When this card is removed from the field, destroy the equipped monster.
Can special summon any special summonable monster from either player's graveyard regardless of level, type, or attribute.
Requires a sacrifice of a monster that you control and it has to be a normal monster.
If your opponent's monster is a normal monster, you can use Enemy Controller to take control of it for a turn and use it as the sacrifice for this card.
In a gemini deck, it's better to use it to revive Blazewing Butterfly if you can normal summon it right away to special summon a gemini monster from the graveyard. This is to not make the revived monster susceptible to being destroyed if Symbols of Duty is removed.
Card is broken against relinquished. When he steals your monster it destroys the symbols card but the monster stays alive. The card states when destroyed the monster is destroyed as well. Branch doesnt work against him either...
Best card for a tether of defeat bakura deck, you get to send a normal fiend you control to the grave, helps you summon necrofear, and with the skill you can send too card of you or your opponents deck to the graveyard, so if you discard a talwar or a summoned skull you're set, or if your opponent discarded something good you can summon that.
So glad I pulled all the Gemini cards from this pack early on. Once I get this card, I'm resetting the box. This is a game changer.

got this card in my second pack. A pretty good card but downside is that you have to use a normal monster but you can build your deck around this. Funny thing is I was just about to pull on neo-impact but this card's pack came out 10 seconds earlier.
It's more versatile than Autonomous Action Unit, because with Symbols of Duty you can summon a monster from EITHER graveyard, which means you can set it up yourself if you manage to discard some high level monster.
