Summoning Marionette is the key to this deck, since it allows you to easily destroy your opponent's monsters during your turn. Due to its low defense, it's often recommended to just use the spell counters, and use your other cards to help summon more.
Increasing spell counters can be slow, but there are some spell counter supports that can help speed up the process.
Since the deck uses spells to add spell counters, use spell cards that can be used both offensively, and defensively to benefit from them.
Card | Explanation |
---|---|
Soul Exchange | Consider using this instead of Magician's Circle if you have multiple copies. You won't be able to attack, but you can use Marionette's effect to keep destroying their monsters. |
Demise of the Land | Has potential to be useful to get Citadel early, especially when used together with Magician's Circle, and special summoning monsters are common. |
Eliminating the League | The deck contains a lot of spell cards, and this can be used during your opponent's turn, allowing you to destroy their monster by surprise. |
Storm | Using Marionette's effect to destroy your opponent's monster, you can use storm to clear your opponent's backrow, which can prevent your opponent from stopping your attack. |
Nobleman of Extermination | Forces your opponent's spell/trap, and you don't have to be very conservative about it, compared to cards like Enemy Controller. |
Dark Magician | Dark Magician can be searched by Legion the Fiend Jester, but can also be special summoned using Miracle Restoring. |
Anti-Spell | Store spell counters to negate your opponent's spell card. |
