Or what, but if my opponent special summons from their graveyard, it does not give me the option to Activate, no matter how long I have it set or if it’s in my hand. Bonez lvl 40 special summons skull servant and gozuki about 5 five times from his grave and not once did it give me the option to activate. But if u special summons from the deck or extra deck it can activate

If you set it you cant activate in the same turn. I am pretty sure thats your case.

The card is good and a quick way to get out necrovalley, but sometimes it doesn’t give me the option to activate it

It's a "when" effect, so it can miss the timing.

The lack of reprint is potentially a factor, but Metaverse is simply a much better card in most cases.

When it was unlimited, it could be searched by Trap Trick and has no activation requirements. Demise, even tho it’s a quick play spell, relies on your opponent doing something to activate
