Pros

  • Potentially excellent card with an Archfiend deck.
  • Solid stats.
  • Able to banish itself.
  • Can special summon an Archfiend from hand, deck or graveyard.
  • Can place a spell counter from the graveyard to other cards.

Cons

  • Current card pool have less to none Archfiend cards to make a viable Archfiend deck.
  • Gives spell counters instead of any counters.

Tips

  • You can activate this card's ability from the graveyard to give a counter to cards like Mythical Beast Cerberus or another Skilled Red Magician.
  • Return banished cards back to the graveyard by using cards like Doomsday Horror, or Miracle Dig so you can re-activate his ability to give a spell counter.
  • Using a field spell card and Murmur of the Forest to re-use the field spell, you can essentially special summon Summoned Skull with 2 spell cards within a turn.
  • While this card can't give a spell counter to Chaos Zone, it still has synergy due to being able to banish itself.

why is my red magician set in face down defence position on my first turn in auto deul?
so when its the first play of the game. my red magician gets set in face down defence. why? i even have an equip spell so he cant get buffed from 1600 at an attack of 2100. why put him in face down. i had another monster that has an attack of 1600 also. auto deul could have buff the other monster instead. its not like red magician is a flip monster. anyone has any ideas why this is happening. is it happening only to me?

Auto duel will do the best "defensive" move possible since you can't attack on the 1st turn

Putting aside it's ability to summon archfiends, this card can add spell counters from the grave. Cerberus deck just gained a monster that can give spell counters.

Still has to be in graveyard so ur opponents monsters have to destroy it where as theyll stay in defense position if u have cereberus on field

So wait, i cant use this card to cheat summon b skull dragon? I cant get summoned skull to save my life so i was hoping id atleast get to summon his kickass fusion with actually having the materials -__-

It can, but you first need to Fusion Summon it (no regular Special Summon such as with Summoner of Illusions, it really has to be a Fusion Summon).

By the way, you don't need Summoned Skull. You can use Goddess with the Third Eye, Mystical Sheep #1 (or was it 2?), or Versago the Destroyer. Thanks to them, all you need is Red-Eyes B. Dragon, of which you get 2 for free.

If you want to cheat summon B. Skull Dragon, use Cyber-Stein.

Cyber stein is no longer that relevant thought... I never thought the was was broken... well... maybe some try-hards put all the expensive techs in the cyber stein and abused the deck.

So what are the other 'Archfiend' monsters aside from Summoned Skull? Planning to add this on Spellcaster deck with SS.

Summoned Skull's the only decent option in Duel Links currently. Other options are B. Skull Dragon (only works after it has been Fusion Summoned and then sent to the grave), Toon Summoned Skull (also only works when first Summoned and then sent to the grave), Archfiend Mirror (LOL), and Archfiend Marmot of Nefariousness (even more LOL)

Can anyone confirm this can summon Archfiend Empress? I've only ever used it to summon Summoned Skull and I heard (mightve been a temp bug) that it only worked on SS, Talwar, and Black Skull Dragon

Also, I can't seem to use his ability at all if he is on the field and a Magical Citadel of Endymion is on my side of the field with 3+ spell counters. I think this is a small bug that needs to be fixed
