How to Play

Satellarknight Monsters

As a Rank-4 spam deck, Satellarknights are also adept at swarming the field with level-4 monsters to use as material. However these monsters don't have any other effects aside from swarming the field without losing resources, so either use them as Xyz material or low-level beaters.

Satellarknight Deneb
Satellarknight Deneb
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 1500 / DEF 1000
Shining Hope [UR]
If this card is Summoned: You can add 1 "tellarknight" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Satellarknight Deneb". You can only use this effect of "Satellarknight Deneb" once per turn.

Deneb is best used when Special Summoned by another Satellarknight's effect because Normal Summoning Deneb does not extend your field. Ideally summon Deneb at the end of any Special Summoning combo you perform such as "Vega >> Deneb" or "Vega >> Altair >> Deneb". The search effect is an example of Satellarknight's ability to maintain resources while Xyz Summoning.

Satellarknight Vega
Satellarknight Vega
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 1200 / DEF 1600
Shining Hope [R]
If this card is Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "tellarknight" monster from your hand, except "Satellarknight Vega". You can only use this effect of "Satellarknight Vega" once per turn.

One combo you can do assuming you got Vega onhand and Deneb in the graveyard: Normal Summon Vega then use its effect to Special Summon Altair. Altair's effect Special Summons Deneb from your graveyard giving you a search. Fetch Altair or Vega to prepare the next turn's combo. Use the three monsters on your field to make Delteros.

Satellarknight Altair
Satellarknight Altair
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 1700 / DEF 1300
Shining Hope [SR]
If this card is Summoned: You can target 1 "tellarknight" monster in your Graveyard, except "Satellarknight Altair"; Special Summon that monster in Defense Position, also monsters you control cannot attack for the rest of this turn, except "tellarknight" monsters. You can only use this effect of "Satellarknight Altair" once per turn.

Similar to Vega, Altair also has a swarming effect but, instead of from the hand, it Special Summons from the graveyard. By putting monsters in the graveyard as cost for your tech cards, you are also loading the graveyard with revive targets for Altair.

Star Seraph Support

Star Seraph Scepter
Star Seraph Scepter
LIGHT Fairy ★4
ATK 1800 / DEF 400
Infinite Ray [UR]
When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Star Seraph" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Star Seraph Scepter". An Xyz Monster that was Summoned using 3 or more monsters, including this card on the field, as Xyz Materials gains this effect.
● When it is Xyz Summoned: You can target 1 other card on the field; destroy it, and if you do, you can draw 1 card.
Star Seraph Sovereignty
Star Seraph Sovereignty
LIGHT Fairy ★4
ATK 800 / DEF 2000
Infinite Ray [SR]
Cannot be used as an Xyz Material for an Xyz Summon, except for an Xyz Summon that uses 3 or more monsters as Xyz Materials. If you Normal or Special Summon a "Star Seraph" monster(s), except during the Damage Step: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, draw 1 card, then you can Special Summon it if it is a "Star Seraph" monster.

Stellarnova Alpha

Stellarnova Alpha
Stellarnova Alpha
Counter Trap
Shining Hope [SR]
When a Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect, is activated: Send 1 face-up "tellarknight" monster you control to the Graveyard; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card, then draw 1 card.

Powerful effect activation negation against anything. The cost of sending a tellarknight to the graveyard is not really that heavy in a swarming deck such as this. Furthermore, the monster you used as cost can later be revived by Unukalhai. Lastly, Stellarnova Alpha replenishes its own cost by giving you a draw, so you essentially lose nothing in card advantage.

Extra Deck

Darktellarknight Batlamyus
Darktellarknight Batlamyus
DARK Warrior ★4
ATK 2600 / DEF 550
Infinite Ray [UR]
2 Level 4 "tellarknight" monsters
All face-up monsters on the field become DARK. You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and discard 1 card; Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 LIGHT "tellarknight" Xyz Monster by using this face-up card you control as the Xyz Material, also you cannot Xyz Summon other monsters for the rest of this turn. (This is treated as an Xyz Summon. Xyz Materials attached to this card also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.) This effect can be activated during either player's turn, if you have 7 or more "tellarknight" monsters with different names in your Graveyard.
Stellarknight Delteros
Stellarknight Delteros
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 2500 / DEF 2100
Shining Hope [UR]
3 Level 4 monsters
While this card has Xyz Material, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects when you Normal or Special Summon a monster(s). Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 card on the field; destroy it. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 "tellarknight" monster from your hand or Deck.

The tellarknight boss monster is quite costly to summon but manageable with the right combo. The first effect mainly protects from Floodgate Trap Hole which could've crippled your Xyz summoning or later summon combos. The second effect provides simple yet effective targeting removal. Lastly the floating effect is useful for starting a new Xyz combo incase Delteros is removed.

Vylon Disigma
Vylon Disigma
LIGHT Fairy ★4
ATK 2500 / DEF 2100
Rage of Volcano [SR]
3 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 face-up Attack Position Effect Monster your opponent controls; equip that target to this card. At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a monster whose Attribute is the same as a card equipped by this effect: Destroy that monster.
Diamond Dire Wolf
Diamond Dire Wolf
EARTH Beast ★4
ATK 2000 / DEF 1200
Voltage of the Metal [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster you control and 1 other card on the field; destroy them.

Essentially a 2-for-1 removal, only consider Diamond Dire Wolf as a last resort option.

Other Cards Option

Satellarknight Unukalhai

Satellarknight Unukalhai
Satellarknight Unukalhai
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 1800 / DEF 1000
Shining Hope [R]
If this card is Summoned: You can send 1 "tellarknight" card from your Deck to the Graveyard, except "Satellarknight Unukalhai". You can only use this effect of "Satellarknight Unukalhai" once per turn.

Similar to Deneb, Unukalhai does not extend your field but instead gives you setup so Special Summon it with another Satellarknight's effect. Specifically Unukalhai's mill is made to set up a monster for Altair to revive.

Satellarknight Sirius

Satellarknight Sirius
Satellarknight Sirius
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 1600 / DEF 900
Shining Hope [N]
If this card is Summoned: You can target 5 "tellarknight" monsters in your Graveyard; shuffle all 5 into the Deck, then draw 1 card. You can only use this effect of "Satellarknight Sirius" once per turn.

Only useful late-game to replenish your resources. Unukalhai helps with the graveyard setup you need.

Satellarknight Skybridge

Satellarknight Skybridge
Satellarknight Skybridge
Quick Spell
Tori Meadows Lvl 10, 18, 30 [UR]
Target 1 "tellarknight" monster you control; Special Summon 1 "tellarknight" monster with a different name from your Deck, and if you do, shuffle the targeted monster into the Deck. While the monster Special Summoned by this effect is face-up on the field, you cannot Special Summon monsters, except "tellarknight" monsters. You can only activate 1 "Satellarknight Skybridge" per turn.

Skybridge is a good combo extender but you will need at least one empty monster zone to use it.

In case you have Deneb onhand as your only monster Normal Summon it to search Unukalhai. Use Skybridge to return Special Summon Vega and return Deneb to the deck. Vega Special Summons the Unukalhai which in turn revives another tellarknight. This way you can still perform a full combo into Deltoros.

Other Extra Decks

Gagaga Cowboy
Gagaga Cowboy
EARTH Warrior ★4
ATK 1500 / DEF 2400
Gagaga XYZ
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; apply this effect, depending on this card's current battle position.
● Attack Position: If this card attacks an opponent's monster this turn, it gains 1000 ATK, also the opponent's monster loses 500 ATK, during the Damage Step only.
● Defense Position: Inflict 800 damage to your opponent.

The Attack Position effect is useful as a quick way to beat over strong enemy monsters. But the main draw of Cowboy is the Defense Position burn damage which can be used to finish off low LP opponents.

Maestroke the Symphony Djinn
Maestroke the Symphony Djinn
DARK Fiend ★4
ATK 1800 / DEF 2300
Shark Fang [UR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up Attack Position monster your opponent controls; change it to face-down Defense Position. If a "Djinn" Xyz Monster you control would be destroyed, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from that monster instead.

Flipping monsters face-down is a good method of turning off their effects and exposing weak DEF stats.

Zubaba General
Zubaba General
EARTH Warrior ★4
ATK 2000 / DEF 1000
Zexal World Release Campaign [UR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; equip 1 Warrior-Type monster from your hand to this card. This card gains ATK equal to the combined ATK of the monsters equipped to it by this effect.

Zubaba General has the potential to be a really big beater. The turn he is summoned you can use his effect once, easily getting him above 3000 ATK. On your next turn, you can use his effect again to easily bring him above 5000 ATK. However, the downsides of this monster become apparent when you consider the amount of resources required to boost his ATK and his fatal lack of protection.

Number 39: Utopia
Number 39: Utopia
LIGHT Warrior ★4
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Shining Hope [UR]
2 Level 4 monsters
When any player's monster declares an attack: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the attack. When this card is targeted for an attack, while it has no Xyz Materials: Destroy this card.

Utopia is a beater with built-in battle protection. The battle protection also extends to your other monsters but can only be used twice.

Gagaga Samurai
Gagaga Samurai
EARTH Warrior ★4
ATK 1900 / DEF 1600
Shining Hope [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 "Gagaga" monster you control; it can make a second attack during each Battle Phase this turn. When another monster you control is targeted for an attack while this card is in Attack Position: You can change this card to Defense Position, and if you do, change the attack target to this card and perform damage calculation.

Gagaga Samurai is great for pushing damage because of its double attack ability. However, in terms of beatdown ability you might need another target other than Samurai because of his relatively low ATK stat. Gagaga Cowboy is a good target if you want to beatdown multiple enemy monsters because of his attack position effect.

Bujintei Tsukuyomi
Bujintei Tsukuyomi
LIGHT Beast-Warrior ★4
ATK 1800 / DEF 2300
Shining Hope [SR]
2 Level 4 LIGHT monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; send your entire hand to the Graveyard (min. 1), and if you do, draw 2 cards. When this card you controlled while face-up leaves the field because of an opponent's card effect: You can target Level 4 Beast-Warrior-Type "Bujin" monsters in your Graveyard, up to the number of Xyz Materials this card had on the field; Special Summon those targets. You can only control 1 "Bujintei Tsukuyomi".

Tsukuyomi lets you cycle through your deck. It's best to use him when you only have 1 card onhand for a net gain in resources. Ideally you draw into Unukalhai which you can summon and combo into another Xyz summoning.

Is this deck good? I have now 9999 gems with 99 pages of gems and 99 sides. Calculated everything was over 18k gems. I have most of the staples 3x and most of the decks and looking for a good Xyz build. Is it worth it?

Matchups:

Once you see Sunsaga, Cocytus or Sabre Dancer surrender, it is impossible to beat them.

Dark magician: whoever goes first wins

Witchcrafter: bad, pray you go first even so you can't otk them, Verre will return as easy as she left.

Karakuri: bad, it is what satellarknights try to do but it does it far better.

This deck is good if you know how to play it......all cards are in good synergy....i play alsaham for burn and sirius for recycle....and Delteros is never a waste.

This deck is trash even as an expert, for what it costs you can get a better one

Actually stellarknight is a good deck, its have omninegate counter trap and dodge quickplay spell. Even now with release the vylon disigma you can suck sunsaga now.

The boss monster have very good floating effect that have synergy with stellarknight altair to summon other stellar or delteros itself and still have the float effect.

Too bad for you, the banlist is scheduled for "after" the Dream tickets expire.

will satellar be good in the future or should i invest in wind up?
<< Anonymous

I think windup are better, although I doubt Hunter will come to the game or even kitten, Sattellar only make ranks 4s while windups can go ranks 3-5.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Neither, it is just a matter of time until konami releases a box with an xyz archetype good enough to be meta (like how it happened in the syncro era).

These boxes are just bait
Anonymous
How could anyone have thought this deck would be good? A boss monsters that takes 3 of your cards, low stats and that can be taken out by the most simple trap card?

This can't even take out a Cocytus nor a wild heart equipped with power of the guardians lol
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Maybe because they are one of the 1st Xyz archetypes that is supported. Me, actually when Xyz is announce i did not think of powercreep at all, i mean its not like Number 101: Silent Honor ARK will be in the game immediately.
Anonymous
your deck sucks and needs backrow to do stuff or got hit hard by the banlist and is barely alive?

Move to a "Balance" build

Right? Dark magician?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
The only hope of dm is to go first and have circle+ navigation turn one. Same tactic n same thing every game. If circle gets cycloned its over, if navigation is night beamed its over, and if u summon something that can't be targeted like Berry MG or Cocytus, its over
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
the only hope of satellars is hiding behind backrow, pray they draw alpha, pray they open at least 1 monster, pray their opponents doesnt have backrow hate and pray that a machine gives them a decent hand because they can not do a damn by themselves
Anonymous
Serious question: Can tellarknights pull a xyz first turn? In all duels against them none of them have, it is just summon 1 set 3

I have seen many xyz centered decks (gagaga, furs, even the thunder family: brohunder, mahunder, etc) and all of them are more successful at pulling a xyz first turn.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Now I'm confused, having 3 specific cards sounds really inconsistent, so it is that they just can't go into their boss in the first turns?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Kind of how infernities have to wait a turn to start running?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
it's like shiranui control (but weaker), you don't always start with a synchro/Xyz in the turn 1, but you're already preparing for the next turn
<< Anonymous

What is the advantage of turn 1 XYZ? Zero. Turn 1 XYZ makes sense only if it has some negates (like Verre), otherways has no value

shouldve photographed this:3 mask change 1 br removal 1 floodgate.i bricked again.and maybe a poly then.and sphere maybe

I'm buying this as a die hard fan of tellarknights from the TCG, but if they don't release some better rank 4s this deck won't compete.

Seriously, I'm working out how to work brave neos into it or something. This deck is consistent, which is super valuable in this game.. but lacks punch, which SUPER sucks in this game.

I think they have real future potential, but it's a gamble. Could be a year before they release the main extra deck targets this deck needs to be good.

Calm, guys. This deck is nothing without Alpha, Triverr and Ptolemaus. Even Evil Eye is stronger and cheaper than this. You just have to reset 1 times and grab 1-2 treacherous trap hole from another box. Only 2 boxes. Moreover, Dark Cavalry and RE Slash Dragon can easily negate Delteros.
