Why is such a worthless card a SR? If it wasn’t for the fact that Neos gets destroyed the turn this activates, then the SR would have been fine.

yeah wish but because the card can't be used via destruction by battle the card should really just be a Normal rarity, only time you would need it is in the situation someone raigeki or sakuretsus your neos fusion.

They really should adjust the text... This card can only activate when a Neos fusion monster is destroyed by card effects, for those who don't know.

There's no problem with the text.
When the monster is destroyed by battle, it's still in the damage step, and apparently this card can not be activated during the damage step.
After that it can not be activated too, because it already missed timing due to the word "when..."

That isn't a missing the timing issue any more than wanting to activate Widespread Ruin in the End Phase is.

The only time you can use it is if your "Neos" Fusion was destroyed by card effect outside the damage step, and that effect was the last thing to resolve. (Being an optional "when" effect, it won't work if destroyed in the middle of a chain.)

So basically, it'd have to be a card like Special Hurricane or Widespread Ruin.

It will not activate if fusion neos is destroyed in battle it should be in effect card or monster effect dumb head try to watch the anime again this time slowly because that is your capacity of mind

this would be good if we had mainphase 2 average interaction is destroy a fusion special summon neos, end turn and destroy it. The only good neos deck can't use this card at all.
