Transcendent Crystals
Send 1 to 3 cards from your hand to the Graveyard. Choose the same number of "Crystal beast" monster(s) from your Deck as the number of cards you sent from your hand to Graveyard, and place it/them tin your Spell/Trap Zone as. This Skill can only be used once per turn, and twice per Duel.

How to Use

Crystron Impact

Crystron Impact
Crystron Impact
Normal Trap
Spirit of the Beast [SR]
Target 1 of your banished "Crystron" monsters; Special Summon it, and if you do, if your opponent controls any face-up monsters, change their DEF to 0. During either player's turn, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard, when a card or effect is activated that targets a "Crystron" monster you control: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; negate that effect.

Crystron Impact allows you to Special Summon 1 of your banished “Crystron” monsters and then it changes the DEF of all face-up monsters your opponent currently controls to 0, making Crystron Ametrix’s effect a lot more valuable. We finally have a good Trap Card to search via Crystron Smiger.

During either player’s turn, except the turn Crystron Impact was sent to the Graveyard, you can banish it from your Graveyard to negate a card or effect that targets a “Crystron” monster you control.

Crystron Thystvern

Crystron Thystvern
Crystron Thystvern
WATER Machine ★3
ATK 1500 / DEF 1500
Spirit of the Beast [SR]
You can target 1 face-up card you control; you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Machine-Type Synchro Monsters, also destroy that card, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Crystron" Tuner from your Deck. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Crystron" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Crystron Thystvern". You can only use 1 "Crystron Thystvern" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Crystron Thystvern is essentially another Crystron Smiger, a Level 3 non-Tuner that can destroy itself or any other face-up card you control (Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise) in order to Special Summon a “Crystron” Tuner from your Deck.

Normal Summon Thystvern, destroy it, Special Summon Citree, Synchro Summon Ametrix during your opponent’s Main Phase or Battle Phase, banish Thystvern from your Graveyard during your Main Phase and search the “Crystron” monster you need.

Scrap Recycler & Crystron Sulfefnir

When it’s Normal Summoned, Scrap Recycler allows you to send a Machine-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. Normal Summon Scrap Recycler and “Foolish Burial” Crystron Sulfefnir. You can then Special Summon Crystron Sulfefnir from your Graveyard (or your hand, if you open directly with it) in Defense Position by discarding another “Crystron” card. Target Crystron Sulfefnir with its own effect and Special Summon Crystron Smiger from your Deck.

Scrap Recycler
Scrap Recycler
EARTH Machine ★3
ATK 900 / DEF 1200
Espa Roba [SR]
Special Pack Vol. 02 [SR]
When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can send 1 Machine-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. Once per turn: You can shuffle 2 Level 4 EARTH Machine-Type monsters from your Graveyard into the Deck; draw 1 card.
Crystron Sulfefnir
Crystron Sulfefnir
WATER Machine ★5
ATK 2000 / DEF 1500
Cybernetic Rebellion [UR]
If this card is in your hand or Graveyard: You can discard 1 "Crystron" card, except "Crystron Sulfefnir"; Special Summon this card in Defense Position, then destroy 1 card you control. If this card on the field is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Crystron" monster from your Deck in Defense Position. You can only use each effect of "Crystron Sulfefnir" once per turn.

Crystron Smiger & Crystron Citree

Crystron Smiger
Crystron Smiger
WATER Machine ★3
ATK 1000 / DEF 1800
Cybernetic Rebellion [SR]
You can target 1 face-up card you control; you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Machine-Type Synchro Monsters, also, destroy that card, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Crystron" Tuner from your Deck. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Crystron" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. You can only use 1 "Crystron Smiger" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Crystron Smiger allows you target a face-up card you control, destroy it and then Special Summon a “Crystron” Tuner monster directly from your Deck. You can target Crystron Sminger with its own effect and then Special Summon Crystron Citree. During your opponent’s Main Phase or Battle Phase, Crystron Citree will allow you to Special Summon a non-Tuner monster from your Graveyard and then Synchro Summon a Machine-Type monster using only the monster you have Special Summoned and Crystron Citree as Synchro Materials. If you Synchro Summon using Crystron Citree’s effect, the Synchro Materials are banished instead of being sent to the Graveyard.

Crystron Citree
Crystron Citree
WATER Machine ★2
ATK 500 / DEF 500
Cybernetic Rebellion [SR]
During your opponent's Main Phase or Battle Phase: You can target 1 non-Tuner monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it, but it has its effects negated (if any), and if you do, immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Machine-Type Synchro Monster using only that monster and this card (this is a Quick Effect). These Synchro Materials are banished instead of being sent to the Graveyard. You can only use this effect of "Crystron Citree" once per turn.

You can use Crystron Citree’s effect to Special Summon Crystron Smiger, Synchro Summon Crystron Ametrix (Level 5) and change all face-up Special Summoned monsters your opponent controls to Defense Position, preventing them from attacking you.

Alternatively, you can use Smiger’s effect to Special Summon Crystron Rion. During your opponent’s Main Phase or Battle Phase, Crystron Rion will allow you to target one of your banished non-Tuner monsters, Special Summon it and then Synchro Summon a Machine-Type monster using only the monster you have Special Summoned and Crystron Rion as Synchro Materials.

You can target a Crystron Smiger you have previously used as Synchro Material and Synchro Summon Powered Inzektron during your opponent’s turn. During the turn it has been Synchro Summoned, Powered Inzektron can’t be destroyed by battle or card effect and it also prevents you from taking any damage for the rest of the turn, making it particularly annoying to deal with for a deck like Koa'ki Meiru, even before Diamond Core of Koa'ki Meiru is actually Semi-Limited.

Crystron Quariongandrax

Crystron Quariongandrax
Crystron Quariongandrax
WATER Machine ★9
ATK 3000 / DEF 3000
Cybernetic Rebellion [UR]
2 or more Tuners + 1 non-Tuner monster
If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target monsters your opponent controls and/or in their Graveyard, up to the number of Synchro Materials used for the Synchro Summon of this card; banish them. If this Synchro Summoned card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target 1 banished monster, except this card; Special Summon it to your field.

Quariongandrax is definitely not as easy to bring out as Ametrix, but it’s also the type of card that can completely turn a Duel around. If Quariongandrax is Synchro Summoned, you can target monsters your opponent controls and/or in their Graveyard up to the number of Synchro Materials used for its Synchro Summon and straight out banish them.

Yes, you can get rid of all monsters on your opponent’s side of the field with a single card and then attack them directly for 3000 damage. If that wasn’t fair and balanced enough already if this Synchro Monster is destroyed, you can target a banished monster and Special Summon it to your side of the field. Enjoy taking down your opponent with their own monsters.

Skills Suggestion

The Tie that Binds is sort of the most obvious alternative to Beatdown since it’s the only other generic ATK boost Skill we have.

This Skill can be used to thin your Deck, set up the Graveyard and give your Smiger, Thystvern, and Rosenix a face-up card to destroy.

[Skill] descriptionUser
The Tie that Binds
Until the end of you turn, the ATK of all face-up monsters on your field increases by the number of monsters on your field times 100. This skill can only be used once per turn.
Jaden Yuki
Jaden Yuki
Level Duplication
Reveal 1 monster in your hand and select 1 monster on your side of the field. The selected monster's level will become equal to the level of the monster you revealed. This Skill can only be used once per Duel.
Akiza Izinski

Transcendent Crystals

Weaknesses

  • Synchro Summoning is quite easy to prevent if you’re on the play. I’ve already mentioned Treacherous Trap Hole, but that’s certainly not the only card your opponent could use in order to stop you.
  • You can’t Special Summon Crystron Sulfefnir by discarding another copy of it, you need another “Crystron” card in your hand. Although it’s not going to happen that often, there is a chance that you are not going to have anything to discard for Sulfefnir.
  • Being able to Special Summon Ametrix during your opponent’s turn can prevent your opponent from OTKing you, but, if they force the activation of Citree’s effect with a card like Snipe Hunter before Special Summoning any monster, there is nothing you can really do.

Other Useful Cards

Mermail Abysspike
Mermail Abysspike
WATER Fish ★4
ATK 1600 / DEF 800
Gaia Genesis [SR]
When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can discard 1 WATER monster to the Graveyard; add 1 Level 3 WATER monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Mermail Abysspike" once per turn.

IGN: abuget, Skill: Transcendent Crystals, Date Submitted: May 19

Note by abuget:

My first KOG with Crystron, the most expensive deck that I have.

Deck and Extra Deck are typical Crystron, except Creature Seizure.

This card is hilarious. I have beat several opponents with their own Bosses like Sunsaga, Cocytus, Chimeratech, and many more. Non-target non-destruction removal. Forget removal, I claim their boss as mine.

It's a complicated deck and only once you know every combo can you play it well.

Just curious, why some people use Carbuncle over Tortoise?

Tortoise seems like the better choice because of the stats and if running White Aura Dolphin, it can be an extra fodder for Dolphin's revival effect.

Something I missed about Carbuncle?

Easy KOG with this deck, I only need 50 wins to rank up from platinum, absolutely tier 1 deck with great consistency.

Star Eater is good, the only problem is that it does not synergize that well with Mayakashi.
Yeah, it makes zero sense that a monster whose effect flat out states it is a "Blue-Eyes&quo...
Yes, Shiranui Solitaire can Special Summon her from the deck with his first effect.
