This page notes details of Crystron Thystvern (WATER/Machine/Effect Monster) : decks, tips, effect and rulings. Learn and enjoy playing Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links & Master Duel!
You can target 1 face-up card you control; you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except Machine-Type Synchro Monsters, also destroy that card, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Crystron" Tuner from your Deck. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Crystron" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Crystron Thystvern". You can only use 1 "Crystron Thystvern" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
Restricts your Special Summoning after using first effect.
First effect requires you to destroy a monster you control.
Tips
Crystron Tuners
Here are the monsters you can Special Summon from the deck with Crystron Thystvern. Destroy Crystron Thystvern with its own effect and Special Summon Crystron Citree. You can then use Citree with the Thystvern in your graveyard to Synchro Summon during your opponent’s turn.
Crystrons are a Synchro focused archetype with the gimmick of Synchro Summoning during your opponent’s turn. Their main deck non-Tuner monsters get 2 effects, one which lets you put monsters in your graveyard and one which lets you put them in the banish zone. Moving these non-Tuners monsters will allow you to use the Tuners effectively.
Is multiples of this card and cryston impact even worth the gems if you already have one of each? I have 3 of each of all of the other crystons from the other pack and it didn’t really pay off.
