Updated Information

Tier List [Mar 15]

Mekk-Knight and Salamangreat Code Talker are demoted as a Tier 3 Decklist.
Burning Abyss, Madolche, and Rose Dragon are removed from the Tier List.
Crusadia and Rokket/Borrel are removed from the High-Potential List.

New Decklist Added

Raidraptor Decklist is added.

NOTES

The GameA Tier List is primarily based on King of Games decks submitted by users and performance in Tournament.

Tier list

Decks in Tier 1 and 2 are ones that are known to have achieved good success against other decks/players.

Meta decks

Meta decks are decks that are often commonly used by players in PvP. Meta decks will often change depending on newer cards or strategies, so we will keep updating this page often to keep everyone informed of newer decks.

Tier 0

Tier 0 decks are decks that completely dominate a meta and you either play the same deck or a deck that completely counters it (but loses to almost any other deck).

There are currently no Tier 0 decks

Tier 1

These decks are very well rounded. They have ways to deal with almost every deck and have very few weaknesses themselves.

look at the heroes deck, its basically king of the tiered deck. I dont even remember this deck gone from tier list

Yeah, it always floats between tier 1, 2, or 3, but it never really left the meta. Konami paid more attention to make the deck balanced, since, you know, Japanese players love HEROes.

It's right there in the KoG worthy section.

look at the heroes deck, its basically king of the tiered deck. I dont even remember this deck gone from tier list

It's cool that the new box came with deskbots as well. I've beat the so called 'unstoppable samurai deck' with them and it was kinda easy tbh

Even if konami is attracting new players to the game the game itself doesn't really have a huge number of people playing it cause if you keep releasing tier 1 decks after just nerfing one this game will never be balanced.

It's absolutely correct and the reason is how far more broken sams are with the rest of the decks. Even when all the other decks add stuff specifically to counter them they still lose quite easily. Their list is perfectly accurate

Six sams are not worthy of being the first tier-0, they have too many shortcomings. Compared to geartown turbo, who can 🔥 out potentially 3 of their boss monsters in one turn, getting out multiple Shi-en's in one turn is a chore. Not to mention the attack difference, disabling any back row upon attacking and having access to UAG. If the enemy canadia or floodgates your tuner, then you're SOL.

I doesn't matter if six Sam's gets nerfed another deck will come to mess up the game cause as far as we know six Sam's players might as well be past koaki players.

As 6-sam is the most used deck as of now why don't you use swarm decks that don't require magical/trap cards to work? ie deskbots or hazy
For me it worked pretty well during the kc cup

Exactly. Even better part, Hazy is an old deck that veteran players should already have, while Deskbot is an F2P deck comparable to Aquaactress in terms of card rarities.

Rarity means nothing

Even if it just R rarity card,
you can open 100+ packs before you get the first copy and 180+ for the full set

yes exactly, the cost of this 🔥 is insane. We need card crafting/disenchant to reuse obsolete cards like 3x URs of the past that are now worse than sheit

It's still just a single box opening though, to get a playset of R cards.

Compared to SR and UR which requires 2-3 box opening meaning you have to open way more packs.

You can't even gather enough tributes to summon Obelisk in front of SixSam, let alone actually summoning it. Maybe unless you use something like Fur Hire....is that what you use?

If Yubel is such a good deck to counter 6 Sams, why no one played it at MCS against the crowd of 6 sams and took first place with EZ?

Because they are not good counters really.
Plus if you play against opponents who knows how chains works and have access to extra deck there is extremely small chance to win a lot of matches and reach the final
