Using the Paradox Brothers' exclusive drop skill, you can normal summon level 5 ~ 7 monsters without using any tributes at a cost of 2,000 LP. With Double Summon, you can get 2 monsters with high attack in a single turn, and recover some LP back using Supremacy Berry so you can use the skill again.

Three-Star Demotion Can be used by paying 3000 Life Points. Until the End Phase, reduce the Level of all monsters in your hand by 3. This skill can only be used once per turn. | Paradox Brothers |
Barrel Dragon and Guardian Angel Joan are good options for decks using this skill. If you are cautious about attacking a monster your opponent controls, you can use Barrel Dragon's ability to destroy the monster each turn, then you avoid their flip effects or get Mirror Wall'ed.
Joan will let you recover LP when it destroys a monster by battle. So you can use the skill again much easier.
Non-effect level 7 monsters can make quite an impact with Champion's Vigilance, the best support card for level 7 or above normal monsters.
Dark Magician also has some exclusive spell cards, like Thousand Knives and Dark Magic Attack, as well as being easily searchable through Legion the Fiend Jester or Blue Dragon Summoner.
Since the skills comes with a hefty cost of 2,000 LP, which is half of the starting LP, it's best to make the best use out of a single activation. Double Summon will let you summon 2 high level and attack monsters in a turn, or you can heal up using Supremacy Berry so you can use it again later and not be at a LP disadvantage.
After summoning the monsters, use your spell/trap cards to maintain board control and not let your opponent counter your play. Magic Drain and Magic Jammer will be used to negate spell cards, such as Order to Charge, Enemy Controller, Soul Exchange, and Black Illusion Ritual.
Divine Wrath counters monster's effects like Relinquished, Dream Clown, and Gale Lizard.
Champion's Vigilance is the best counter trap cards if you use non-effect level 7 monsters. It can negate an activation of any spell/trap card and a summon/flip/special summon of a monster.
Interdimensional Matter Transporter is a budget substitue for Magic Drain (UR from Chaotic Compliance), Magic Jammer (UR from The Ultimate Rising), and Divine Wrath (UR from Valkyrie's Rage. When your opponent uses Relinquished, Order to Charge, or Soul Exchange, use this card to evacuate your level 7 monster.
