A new legendary duelist, Vellian Crowler, will be coming to Duel Links! You must unlock Yu-Gi-Oh! GX world first to play the unlock event. This page is currently based on the last Crowler unlock event and will be updated.

How to play

Defeat/farm Vellian Crowler to gain event points! Once you get 300,000 points, Vellian Crowler will be unlocked as a playable character. You'll also have Gems, Jewels, Gold, and event exclusive rewards by earning points.

Homework

Finish homework (event missions) assigned by Dr. Crowler to earn event points!

EX Jewel

You'll get EX Jewels during the event. That item can be traded for event exclusive cards at Card Trader.

Zombie World is an exceptional counter to his level 40 deck -- it complete locks him out of tribute summoning. Use it with Planet Pathfinder to get it out consistently.
All you have to worry about after that is his Spell Gear, which can be easily taken care of with cards like Champion's Vigilance or any other spell negation (IF he is even able to use it in the first place).

Its near the end of the month, so all the top tier decks are already in KoG tier 2/3 are all around Legend so of course AG would win against them. I got KoG before KC cup begin and haven't met a single AG decks outside of Stage 1 of KC cup ever since

It is not tier 1 obviously but it is still a great f2p deck. It only struggles against gb and phoenix and i have only seen phoenix decks a few times at kc cup. I myself have used it to reach stage 2 and they do quite good against lots of decks. Still, i'm not sure if those new rewards will improve the deck.

3rd agg is almost perfect and being able to get more agc's are cool as now the deck can be used w/ restart, balance or some other skill but the fusion monster requires some new cards to be added to the deck. Maybe if we've got something like howitzer it would be better but at least for now i guess the fusion version is only viable for fun decks

Lol i got ancient gear castle and the new fusion in my first 2 duels which were against lvl 10 obviously but since then i couldn't get a single sr/ur including the old rewards

Meh, Paladin Farm still works if you play carefully and get a bit lucky. As long as you stop AGG from coming out, it's fine. If you have the right cards to discard early on to negate all his Castles and are able to bait out the Zero Gravities by attacking his defense position monsters before he gets a chance to Tribute Summon AGG, you should be good to go.

I want to share my F2P Blue-Eyes Farm deck for Dr. Crowler, works 9 out of 10 times, 8000+ assessment, no expensive SR or UR from lame boxes, some cards can even be replaced if you want more consistency/less assessment. Use either Earth/Light or High Level (preferably) Draw Sense Skill to get BEWD on the field ASAP. Attack every single turn to exhaust his Zero Gravities. Don't run more than 2 Spell destruction cards as you'll brick more often. You want Curse or Winstorm to stop Golem and Acid Rain/System Down to destroy it next turn. Worse case scenario: Ram one of your BEWD into it, you got 3 and 4 ways to special summon it, that's it. PS. I don't have any Ancient Rules, otherwise I'd be running it :)
